Michael Savage on Boston Marathon Bombing

The Boston Marathon bombing and the Regime’s pathetic response to it put Savage on a tear yesterday:

The Thanks They Get

An incident doesn’t have to be typical to be emblematic:

Authorities say video surveillance footage from an Albany Walmart store shows a uniformed U.S. Army officer being attacked by a man who had verbally harassed the soldier for his military service.

Albany police released the footage after charging 47-year-old Yiqiang Wu of Schenectady with assault as a hate crime for Thursday’s fight at a checkout line.

The Army captain [who was dressed in fatigues] told police that a man behind him in line began to yell derogatory comments at him about the United States and his service to the nation. Police say Wu then struck the officer several times in the face.

The same sentiments and worse have been expressed at the voting booth. What is a punch in the face compared to having to regard Barack Hussein Obama as your Commander in Chief? Some in the service might start to wonder if they have been fighting for a country that no longer exists.

Wu: No gratitude.

John Kerry: Second Amendment Makes America Unsafe for Foreign Students

John Kerry adds his guffaw-inspiring gravitas to the Left’s jihad against our constitutional right to bear arms:

“We had an interesting discussion about why fewer students are coming to, particularly from Japan, to study in the United States, and one of the responses I got from our officials from conversations with parents here is that they’re actually scared. They think they’re not safe in the United States and so they don’t come,” Kerry said.

He noted Japan’s restrictive gun laws — which prevent private ownership of nearly all firearms, including handguns — and said the country was safer “where people are not running around with guns.”

That must explain why people feel so much safer in the savage cesspool liberals have made of Chicago, where the Second Amendment is almost entirely ignored.

For those interested in the real reasons there has been a decline in students from Japan:

Experts have attributed the decline to Japan’s low birthrate, the expense of foreign study in a poor economy, and a desire among Japanese young people to remain at home rather than venture to other countries.

Once Thomas Jefferson held the position of Secretary of State. Now the job of representing the USA to the rest of the world is held by this reflexively anti-American kook. There isn’t much Hope, but there has been plenty of Change.

A treasonous fool flaps his gums.

Federal Government’s Favorability Nosedives

So as not to be overly harsh on the Obama Administration, let’s look for a silver lining on this miserable storm cloud. The best I can do: Obama has encouraged a healthy dislike of the centralized authority the Founding Fathers went to such lengths to protect us from:

Overall, 63% say they have a favorable opinion of their local government, virtually unchanged over recent years. And 57% express a favorable view of their state government — a five-point uptick from last year. By contrast, just 28% rate the federal government in Washington favorably. That is down five points from a year ago and the lowest percentage ever in a Pew Research Center survey.

Even most Democrats now have a negative opinion of the federal government. If we can exploit this sentiment to reclaim some of the power the Debt Star has seized at the expense of more representative state and local governments, we might actually begin to reverse the national decline personified by Obama.

Obama’s emerging legacy; imagine if the media were against him.

Another Loony Boston Marathon Bombing Tweet

Not all lunatic tweets attempting to blame patriots for the Boston Marathon bombing are by totally anonymous screwballs subsisting on welfare or in their mother’s basement.

This is how Stephanie describes herself on Twitter:

US Forest Service public affairs professional, busy wife & mom. My tweets are my opinions. Following forestry, the media, politics, PR, and UGA BullDAWGs. Atlanta, GA

If she works in public affairs for the federal government, she has found her calling. I would suggest journalism, except she knew enough to delete the tweet.

Obama Administration Blows Off Margaret Thatcher’s Funeral

Moonbat hooligans aren’t the only ones to conspicuously fail to grant Margaret Thatcher’s memory the honor it deserves. Nor is Obama done childishly insulting our closest ally. It seems no one of significance from the current administration can make it to her funeral:

Former Secretaries of State George Shultz and James Baker will head the U.S. delegation at the funeral of former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, the White House announced Monday, but no high-level current officials will attend.

Both men served while Thatcher was prime minister. Shultz, 92, was the chief U.S. diplomat under President Ronald Reagan, Thatcher’s Cold-War ally. Baker, 82, served under President George H.W. Bush, who succeeded Reagan.

This should clue in anyone who doesn’t grasp the importance of her funeral:

The funeral will be held Wednesday at London’s St. Paul’s Cathedral. In a break with tradition, Queen Elizabeth II and her husband, Prince Phillip, plan to attend. This will be the first prime minister’s funeral the monarch has attended since Winston Churchill’s in 1965.

What the media did to America by duping bovine fools into helping parasites elect Obama, Obama has done to the memory of possibly the last great Briton.

One Lady Thatcher is worth a whole bathhouse full of Obamas.

California Cannot Afford to House Prisoners, Yet Continues to Spend Wastefully

Governor Jerry “Moonbeam” Brown is in hot water because California does not have the money to house all the criminals that liberal policies have drawn to the erstwhile golden state:

Escalating a dispute with the courts over California’s troubled prison system, Gov. Jerry Brown on Friday fired back at federal judges who threatened to hold him in contempt, vowing to “litigate until the Supreme Court tells us that we’re not on the right track.”

The governor, the target of a scathing ruling Thursday that gave him three weeks to file a plan for meeting a court-ordered cap on the prison population, said he cannot remove thousands more convicts from California lockups without a spike in crime. …

In January, Brown declared the prison crisis over and requested an end to court oversight of inmate healthcare, which costs the state roughly $1 billion each year. The judges, who have ruled that overcrowding caused unconstitutionally poor healthcare for prisoners, said no Thursday and wielded contempt threat.

Does this mean maybe Governor Moonbeam will be stuffed into one of his own overcrowded prisons? Unfortunately, no.

If the judges do hold Brown in contempt, that will most likely mean substantial fines against the state for every day it fails to comply with court orders, said Erwin Chemerinsky, dean of the law school at UC Irvine.

That is, the taxpayers will take it in the neck yet again.

A new study by the libertarian Reason Foundation finds that the California High-Speed Rail System will saddle taxpayers with losses between $124 million to $373 million a year.

Exaggerated ridership estimates and slower-than-promised trip speeds make the California bullet train project a big financial loser for taxpayers, says the study.

Here’s an idea: why not kill the politically trendy but fiscally moronic rail boondoggle and use the money to build more prisons? But you may as well ask Governor Moonbeam to stop deliberately luring into California the illegal immigrants who constitute a reported 30% of the state’s prison population. California voted to go over the cliff by electing Brown, and over the cliff it will go.

Political lunacy incarnate.

Sarah Palin Did It

Moonbats infesting Twitter have revealed the evil mastermind behind the Boston Marathon bombing:

This is actually less absurd than the mainstream media’s attempts to blame Sarah Palin for the Jared Loughner shootings. After all, we don’t yet know for a fact that she had nothing to do with Boston.

If it wasn’t Sarah Palin, it must have been George W. Bush:

These demented cretins vote, which is how we came by our current leadership.

F*** for Forest — The Movie

If you think it is incredible that the global warming hoax still serves as a pretext for authoritarianism despite the conspicuous lack of warming for nearly two decades now, consider this — F*** for Forest is still around too. A new documentary has the ecopornography outfit back in the news:

“Blood and sperm. The perfect mix,” says a tattooed hippy, as he licks both off his hands, having just had sex with a woman in front of a small audience in a Berlin basement. “Life-giving fluids we are all so afraid of. We’re so afraid of ourselves! It’s all organic.” It’s not everyone’s idea of popular entertainment, but this scene can be experienced at a safe distance in a new documentary, F*ck for Forest, detailing the activities of the group of the same name (without the asterisk). …

The live displays are a sideline; funds are primarily raised via their website, which has images and videos of its core staff members and whatever volunteers they pick up on the street in myriad sexual permutations, from naked people up trees to chaotic orgies. Subscribers pay about £10 [$13.10] a month, and the proceeds go towards rainforest conservation projects in South America. …

[FFF cofounder Tommy Hol Ellingsen] and his Swedish partner Leona Johansson can talk at great length about the ills of western society, freedom of expression, the sanctity of nature and nobility of indigenous tribal life, but in the documentary their philosophy is put to the test. The first half details their eco-hippy existence, wandering the streets of Berlin, propositioning strangers to contribute to the website, getting stoned, having sex, and subjecting audiences to their performance art (if the “blood and sperm” part sounds shocking, wait for their terrible folk songs).

By exploiting the environmental angle, they actually make money as professional hippie degenerates.

Leona estimates that the non-profit organisation has made in the region of €100,000 (£85,000) [$131,000] a year, since it started in 2004. Their website details how the money has been spent on buying up land and promoting permaculture and indigenous lifestyles in Brazil, Peru and other countries. And as the film attests, they also live a frugal lifestyle, wearing clothes and eating food they find in rubbish bins, rather than spending the charity’s money.

When they get stoned, they presumably find the drugs in rubbish bins too. It is unthinkable that funds intended to save the sacred forests would go up in marijuana smoke.

These days it isn’t easy to push the envelope, but Tommy and Leona consistently manage.

When Tommy and Leona first started the website in Oslo, they received a grant from the Norwegian government — a decision the authorities regretted when Tommy and Leona caused a stir by having sex on stage at a Norwegian music festival later that year, while a hardcore band called the Cumshots played along. That led to an obscenity trial, at which Tommy pleaded for the cause of public nudity and dropped his trousers in court. Shortly after, they relocated to Berlin, where they’ve continued to make enemies. In 2009 they were ejected from an anarchist congress in the city for insisting on the right to remove their clothes during a workshop entitled “Anarchy and Sex”. The controversy resulted in the entire congress being shut down early. In 2011, they took things even further by interrupting the Ascension Day service in Oslo Cathedral with a naked protest (in defence of a priest who was sacked for writing about sex). Shocked members of the clergy had to drag them off the altar.

Michal Marczak, the director of the documentary, comments on FFF’s pornographic product:

“My first impression was, who the hell would ever watch this? And even if they would, who would pay for it? It’s really vulgar and its very … hairy. Nobody shaves their armpits, and it’s really badly lit. But I noticed that the people mostly seem happy in it.”

Moonbats are easy to please in some respects.

Tommy and Leona, thankfully with their clothes on.
