58 Trillion Dimes

Obama seems to have a thing about dimes. Here’s how many dimes his catastrophic presidency is costing us, our children, and their children:

On a tip from TED.

  2. IslandLifer says:

So let me see if I understood that correctly…”Lie lie lie, lie unequivocally lie lie. Let me be clear, lie lie lie. Lie lie lie”

Surral says “I’ve been medicated for quite some time now. I learnded all my great knowledge from an institution that brainwashed me and now I’m unemployed and gay. I believe everyone has a right to stay with me at my parents house and eat our food. I cannot help myself so I try hard to bring others down with me. This is the hatred that simmers in my rubber sponge. Oh ya, MSNBC is my favorite show and I take pleasure in the fact I have no pride or self esteem. Yay me!”

  4. surral says:

    well IslandLifer,

I am indeed employed with government job that makes much more money than you do. You can continue to insult me put that doesn’t change who is in the White house

  5. Everyone Miserable Together=Socialist Utopia says:

“Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery.”
    –Winston Churchill

  6. shuffle some papers bureaucrat says:

“Good Conservatives always pay their bills. And on time. Not like the Socialists who run up other people’s bills.”

    Margaret Thatcher

  7. clock milking union jobs says:

“Communist regimes were not some unfortunate aberration, some historical deviation from a socialist ideal. They were the ultimate expression, unconstrained by democratic and electoral pressures, of what socialism is all about. … In short, the state [is] everything and the individual nothing.”

    Margaret Thatcher

  8. Flu-Bird says:

Not one thin dime for my pockets for a baby killer

  9. Dmgore says:

I think we are missing something here. In not one of those video clips was I able to discern any lies by Barack Obama. What he said is he will not sign anything that adds ONE dime to our deficit. He never said anything about not signing something that adds 53 trillion dimes.
And I bet that makes sence to some lib somewhere.

  10. GoinSane says:

Yeah, Dmgore, he didn’t add one dime, so what’s everybody’s problem? Do people actually think a politician would lie to us?

    surral says:

“I come from my country, yes…to be freedom. Obama government give job, and phone, and house…and now I free. You live here whole life and stay working, but don’t let government help you be free. If you say you like freedom, why you not take what government give you for free?

Americans they stupid…we come and change things, and you love it real soon.”

I pointed this out elsewhere, but a stack of dimes equal to the debt added during the current misadministration would (if directed at the sun) be ‘tall’ enough to reach about 8.7 million miles *inside* the median orbit of Venus.

    Hmmm… Total debt, 16.557 trillion x 10 x 1mm thick dime / 1,000,000mm = 165.57 million km. 1 AU (Astronomical Unit, mean distance from Sun to Earth) = 149,597,870.7 km.

Currently, dimes are minted of 91.67% copper, 8.33% nickel. Concentrating just on the copper… in order to mint enough dimes to pay of the National Debt, we would need about… half of the entire global reserve of copper. Or roughly the entire 2010 planetary production of copper… for 19 1/2 years.

Yeah, sure. We’ll pay it all back, and then some! Yeah, that’s the ticket!
