As USA Staggers Toward Insolvency, Obama Shovels Our Money Into Kenya

It would be wrong to say his country hasn’t benefitted from Obama’s presidency — so long as by “his country,” you mean Kenya:

Kenyan businesses lately are increasingly becoming recipients of U.S. government largesse, as the Obama Administration, among pursuing other endeavors, aims to expand “livestock-related economic opportunities” in that nation. …

The White House is committing to a five-year effort to “improve the inclusiveness and competitiveness” of the livestock industry specifically in Marsabit and Garissa counties, Kenya, according to a presolicitation notice released April 12 that U.S. Trade & Aid Monitor located via routine database research.

The Feed the Future-related initiative, known as the Resilience and Economic Growth in the Arid Lands-Accelerated Growth, or REGAL-AG, program, will be carried out by contractors hired by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), according to the document.

The agency did not disclose the project’s estimated cost: “No additional information regarding this planned RFP [Request for Proposals] is available at this time.”

What does cost matter? We won’t have to pay. We’ll be dead of old age long before the government has paid off the debt Obama has already run up.

USAID that same day separately alerted potential contractors to the launching of yet another endeavor in that nation, known as the Kenya Agricultural Value Chain Enterprises, or KAVES, program. …

Other recent contracting actions include:

Up to $50 million in U.S. Navy-coordinated military construction projects on the horizon at Camp Simba, Kenya, and at Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti.

Deployment to Kenya of a privately contracted Regional Advisor for USAID’s Office of U.S. Foreign Disaster Assistance (OFDA). as well as an Emerging Pandemic Threats Advisor.

A U.S. Trade & Development Agency-led search for a contractor to perform a “definitional mission” exploring possible funding of geothermal energy projects in Kenya and Rwanda.

Just call it Solyndra on the Savannah.

The above-mentioned endeavors have taken place in recent weeks; however, other notable U.S.-funded Kenyan projects thus far in 2012 include the launching of a National Institutes of Health-led initiative to hire contractors to conduct genetic research of Kenyans with Type-2 diabetes. Separately, the U.S. Army embarked upon a market survey of potential vendors to provide helicopter flight-training simulators to the Kenyan government.

Happy days have arrived for the Obama fatherland. Too bad the USA hasn’t been faring nearly as well. Maybe after our economy inevitably collapses, Kenya will give us a loan.

It pays to have connections.

Fifty million here, a half billion there…why not; we can afford it. Why shouldn’t we borrow a bit more and give it to the Obama ancestral home?

BTY, the news is out; Obama paid 20% taxes on his income of about $700,000. Of course, that is after taking deductions for the 12% in charitable donations (of course Obama “found religion” after being elected.

Could someone please point out to Obama that, since he isn’t paying his fair share, and since he would like to pay more, he actually can, voluntarily, pay more? He doesn’t actually need to take those deductions. After all; he said he would be OK with paying more taxes…so why doesn’t he?

And before I forget, since charity begins at home…how much is Obama sending to his half brother in Kenya? Do you think he would spring for a $50 contribution every month?

    Whaddya say, Barack?

Obama is just trying to improve his ‘HOME’ country. Remember Michelle clearly stated that her husband was Kenyan and that his ‘Home’ country was Kenya.

So Obama is just trying to improve the country that he’s going to after this election.

Maybe the Secret Service can have better luck in Kenya

HOW TO START EACH DAY WITH A POSITIVE OUTLOOK…
    1. Open a new file in your computer.
    2. Name it ‘Barack Obama’.
    3. Send it to the Recycle Bin.
    4. Empty the Recycle Bin.
    5. Your PC will ask you: “Do you really want to get rid of ‘Barack Obama?”
    6. Firmly Click ‘Yes.’
    7. Feel better?

    GOOD!

    Tomorrow we’ll do Nancy Pelosi.

With all this, the people continue to sit still for it. And we wonder why the elected lying crooks see us as nother more than worker ants who’s job is to produce, and be passive? Arab spring? How about an American spring, or are the elected crooks right about us.

If they are right, and we have truly become a nation of weak, gullible, passive sheep, then we deserve everything they do to us.

It pays to be born there.

Actually, US Businesses are the recipients of these contracts, not Kenyan Businesses. Also, both the Feed the Future pre-solicitations noted above have been in the 10 year plan for Kenya’s Foreign Assistance via USAID since before Obama.

Further, Kenya is given aid in part because their troops are being used to fight Al Qaeda in Somalia, on our behalf.
