Today, i read yet another story related to the (IMO) totally unnecessary war we’re fighting in Afghanistan, and how our govt. is making fools of us, not just at home, but there also. I read this and i can’t help but wonder how our brave and dedicated warriors must feel when they read it. How can they still put on a uniform, pick up a weapon, and go off to fight.

Christopher Hecker accused of threatening to kill Obama

A criminal complaint filed in federal court in Harrisonburg said Christopher Hecker of Waynesboro made death threats against the president and threatened to bomb the White House, hotels and other places, including Philadelphia City Hall and the site of the former World Trade Center. An affidavit said the threats were emailed to various media outlets.

George Soros is what, 82 now? Can’t he just go ahead and die already?

Why Colleges Don’t Teach the Federalist Papers Because they would wind up creating a lot more conservative Constitutional originalists if they did.

Well I admit I learned a key point today. Now I know why liberals are so clueless when it comes to Constitutional issues.

It would be difficult to overstate the significance of The Federalist for understanding the principles of American government and the challenges that liberal democracies confront early in the second decade of the 21st century. Yet despite the lip service they pay to liberal education, our leading universities can’t be bothered to require students to study The Federalist—or, worse, they oppose such requirements on moral, political or pedagogical grounds. Small wonder it took so long for progressives to realize that arguments about the constitutionality of ObamaCare are indeed serious.

BREAKING NEWS! Not only is our troll not Canadian after all, it also appears he may be “busy” and not posting here for a while.

San Diego moonbat gets her comeuppance! Or was she just another capitalist railroaded by the system? You decide!

Apaprently intolerance is acceptable at Obama campaign events! I wonder if the troll can find us any video of this to prove she wasn’t asked to leave, she decided to leave voluntarily.

Or could it just be they’re NOT GUILTY of anything but being falsely accused by liberals? Seriously, don’t you think that they would be convicted had they actually done anything wrong?

Despite his populist posturing, the president has failed to pin a single top finance exec on criminal charges since the economic collapse.

That’s because he and the other Democrats would go down hard if the truth was revealed in a trial. I’m surprised the bankers haven’t already come forward with it.

Or, just maybe, there’s ANOTHER EXPLANATION:

JUSTICE FOR SALE AT HOLDER’S DOJ

Attorney General Eric Holder and the Department of Justice are operating under a “justice for sale” strategy by forgoing criminal prosecution of Wall Street executives at big financial institutions who just so happen to be clients of the white-shoe law firms where Holder and his top DOJ lieutenants worked. “Through last fall, Obama had collected more donations from Wall Street than any of the Republican candidates; employees of Bain Capital donated more than twice as much to Obama as they did to Romney, who founded the firm.”

Obama’s unable to bring himself to make a “gutsy call” on the issue of same-sex marriage

President Barack Obama’s election-year vagueness on same sex marriage is coming under fresh scrutiny.

Drug-Defying Germs From India Speed Post-Antibiotic Era

India’s $12.4 billion pharmaceutical industry manufactures almost a third of the world’s antibiotics, and people use them so liberally that relatively benign and beneficial bacteria are becoming drug immune in a pool of resistance that thwarts even high-powered antibiotics, the so-called remedies of last resort.

Poor hygiene has spread resistant germs into India’s drains, sewers and drinking water, putting millions at risk of drug-defying infections. Antibiotic residues from drug manufacturing, livestock treatment and medical waste have entered water and sanitation systems, exacerbating the problem.

Vote on same sex marriage to test Obama

North Carolina is expected to pass a constitutional amendment banning gay marriage on Tuesday, putting the issue at the top of the political agenda in a battleground election state.
The vote is awkward for Barack Obama, who won North Carolina by the narrowest of margins in the 2008 presidential election and has avoided discussing the amendment during visits to the state aimed at securing victory in November.

Another key lie of the left, with their talk about a supposed lack of “marriage equality”. We already have marriage equality. Any person, gay or straight, as long as they meet age, relationship and whatever other qualifications various places have, is allowed to marry a similarly eligible member of the opposite sex, regardless of their states of gender or sexual identity confusion.
There is one set of rules that is applied equally without consideration of one’s gender, gender confusion, sexual orientation or any other LGBTQ issue. The claim there’s some inequality there is a lie.

MA moonbat murders mother while live linked on the net
The teen’s friend witnessed the grisly murder via the iPad, including Pulisciano pleading, “Chris, please stop, I love you,” and Piantedosi saying, “You’re going to die.” It was also revealed in court Monday that Piantedosi attempted suicide earlier in the week, but he was hospitalized and then released the day before the attack. Naturally he’ll be linked to the local occu-tards soon.

Finally, for now, at a town hall meeting, Romney was taking questions and a woman asked him one about what he would do to restore the proper Constitutional balance between government branches.
During her question someone near her made a comment that was not picked up and she responded, as an aside, that she agreed Obama should be tried for treason, then continued her question.
Romney did exactly the right thing – he responded to her valid question and ignored the aside, which may not have even deserved a response had it been a direct question instead of an aside.
As PAUL MIRENGOFF of POWERLINE points out: ‘The left is portraying this as a “failure to stand up to the woman” and as “letting the fringe push him around.”
This criticism stikes me as silly. Romney answered the question he was asked. No one pushed him around. He chose not to dignify the woman’s aside about treason with a response. If the MSM is interested in Romney’s view on whether Obama is a traitor, it can ask him, something the woman didn’t do. And the MSM probably will ask. But only after it has tried to get mileage from today’s incident.
THEN, LATER: Reporters at the event asked Romney if he agreed that Obama should be tried for treason. Romney responded, “No, no, no. Of course not.”’
Now others would say that Obama is certainly guilty of treason and the aside was valid, so Romney did Obama a favor by not exploring this issue. I’m sure a growing number of people would like to see this issue pursued to it’s inevitable conclusion.

AN INTERESTING UPDATE ON THE ZIMMERMAN CASE.

I got to wondering if there had been a significant impact on crime in the area, and in particular in the gated community (The Retreat at Twin Lakes) and so I set out to find out.

Using a website that provides crime data for the area, I selected a time period from 20111109 to today. I selected an area centered on the gated community with a radius of .5 mile. Here are the results I obtained, with “the incident” being that involving Martin and Zimmerman:

    Before the incident, there were:

Six burglaries, three within the gated complex and three close by but outside it.
Two vehicle break ins, both nearby, outside the gated community, one of these at a nearby business.
Six acts of vandalism, one inside the gated community, the others nearby, outside the gated community.
Three thefts from a nearby business.
Two thefts from a residence inside the gated community.

February 26, 2012: Zimmerman follows Martin, Martin attacks Zimmerman, Zimmerman shoots Martin in self-defense.

    After the incident, there were:
Three thefts from a nearby business.
A single vandalism nearby, outside the gated community, at a school.
A single burglary nearby, outside the gated community.
A single vehicle break in – nearby, outside the gated community.
ZERO incidents of theft from a residence.

It appears the involuntary retirement of St. Skittles had a significant effect on crime in the gated community and within a .5 mile radius around it.

White House Adviser Cites Karl Marx

    http://www.theblaze.com/stories/white-house-adviser-defends-class-warfare-by-citing-karl-marx/

During the industrial revolution class warfare centered on the length of the working day. A tightly defined working day only appeared with the advent of the industrial revolution. Before then laborers worked when they needed money, and then quit for a time once they fulfilled their needs. But regimentation and a dependable workforce became necessary once there was machinery to run and capital invested, and so with industrialization came the an enforced workday. So it is not surprising that Marx stated the central battle of class warfare at the time in terms of the working day:…

Well at least this guy’s liberal education wasn’t a complete waste, as he goes on to cite Marx.

Hard for Obama to pretend that he isn’t a socialist, bent on destroying economic freedom for individuals.

Well, now there is this little item:
    http://www.cleveland.com/metro/index.ssf/2012/05/terror_suspect_signed_lease_on.html

CLEVELAND, Ohio — One of the five self-described anarchists arrested last week for attempting to blow up a local bridge signed the lease for a West Side warehouse where about a dozen members of the Occupy Cleveland group live.

In a one-hour recording of a Friday evening general assembly meeting of the group posted on its website http://occupycleveland.com/live-stream/, occupy leaders expressed concern about Anthony Hayne’s name being on the lease, which strengthens his link to the group.

“We have a person facing terrorism charges on the lease of our warehouse,” said one of the leaders. “If this gets into the media, it would be a disaster.”

Your claims that a scribbled, hand written memo, was “lawyered up”, is certainly amusing.

My own experience with lawyers has seen them producing volumes of pages, parsing every contingency with exacting prose.

Since you like the daily mail fibby, let’s go back to this article re that memo for a little background.

The piece of paper that killed Bin Laden: Leon Panetta’s memo recording Obama’s decision to launch attack revealed on year after daring mission

    Some key quotes:

The note, headed ‘Memo for the Record’, was written on the morning of April 29 last year, two days before the operation in Abbottabad.

Mr Obama took a vote of his inner circle, and both Vice President Joe Biden and Secretary of Defense Robert Gates advised him to delay the attack.

Perhaps the biggest risk for the attack on the compound was that Bin Laden would turn out not to be there after all, according to TIME’s analysis of the mission.

Surveillance drones had shown a tall figure walking around the compound, who was known to U.S. officials as ‘The Pacer’.

This was thought to be Bin Laden himself, but even the bullish Mr Panetta estimated the chance of the identification being correct as no more than 80 per cent.

Other were less certain – Michael Leiter, director of the National Counterterrorism Center, thought there was only a 40 per cent chance that the Pacer was Bin Laden.

Mr Panetta’s memo deals with the possibility of a mistaken identity, saying: ‘The direction is to go in and get Bin Laden and if he is not there, to get out.’

In any case fibby, thanks for your own daily mail link. I particularly enjoy the way the article closes:

Writer Kevin Drum called the theory ‘absurd’ and applauded their ‘creative nutbaggery.’

He wrote: ‘The idea of Obama getting credit for killing bin Laden just drives conservatives up a tree.

‘At this point, many of them are, apparently, literally willing to believe anything that suggests otherwise.’

Romney taking credit for auto industry success

“I pushed the idea of a managed bankruptcy, and finally when that was done, and help was given, the companies got back on their feet,” Romney said in an interview inside a Cleveland-area auto parts maker. “So, I’ll take a lot of credit for the fact that this industry has come back.”

Romney has repeatedly argued that Obama ultimately took his advice on the auto industry’s woes of 2008 and 2009. But he went further on Monday by saying he deserves credit for its ultimate turnaround.

The course Romney advocated differed greatly from the one that was ultimately taken. GM and Chrysler went into bankruptcy on the strength of a massive bailout that Romney opposed. Neither Republican President George W. Bush nor Democratic President Barack Obama believed the automakers would have survived without that backup from taxpayers.

“If General Motors, Ford and Chrysler get the bailout that their chief executives asked for yesterday, you can kiss the American automotive industry goodbye,” Romney wrote in a November 2008 opinion article in the New York Times. “It won’t go overnight, but its demise will be virtually guaranteed.”

    ___________

It is premature to say that these auto companies “survived.” GM still owes the American Taxpayer $35 billion dollars. They showed a profit last year, in part, because they didn’t have to pay any taxes.

On the other hand, if the keep pushing the Volt, their continuing prosperity is in jeopardy.

BTW, George Bush should have been impeached for using TARP money to keep the auto companies afloat. Obama took it even farther by: 1. Firing the CEO of GM without BM board action, 2. Investing TARP money and then converting it to stock, and 3. Ignoring bankruptcy laws and screwing the secured creditors in order to benefit union members.

    The whole matter still stinks.

The only thing I can possibly latch onto here (your cut&pastes are not legitimate arguments – so don’t waste your time) is one snark: Your claims that a scribbled, hand written memo, was “lawyered up”, is certainly amusing.

Mukasey stated that the approval to allow the Seals to go in, was “lawyered up.” So what are you saying? That Mukasey is confusing a hand-written memo as a lawyered up document?

Well duh fibby, of course the mission was planned in advance. Do you think the SEALs were sitting around playing video games until the night of the assault?

Reports are, a complete mock-up of bin Laden’s compound was constructed for the SEALs to rehearse on. That the mission went off like clockwork, despite having one chopper crash land in the compound demonstrates how and why the SEALs are the best of the best.

fibby sez: Mukasey stated that the approval to allow the Seals to go in, was “lawyered up.” So what are you saying? That Mukasey is confusing a hand-written memo as a lawyered up document?

Mr Mukasey responded: ‘I think there is going to be more that come tumbling out about that escapade. But so far, that memo is enough.’

He’s talking about the hand-written memo. When pages and pages of legalese on the same topic come “tumbling out”, be sure to link them.

Romney pointed out that a “managed bankruptcy” was needed in 2008; government money was used to prevent bankruptcy; ultimately bankruptcy can’t be avoided. Did Obama get the idea of a managed bankruptcy from Romney? If Obama wanted to suggest that ObamaCare is a result of RomneyCare, they it is equally logical that the managed bankruptcy was Romney’s idea, too.

So much for the troll’s claims about truth.

There WERE direct connections between those terrorists and OWS.

Now that the shoe is on the other foot the troll is scrambling to disavow them, naturally, as is OWS.

The local occu-tards were happy to have them UNTIL they got caught, then suddenly their tune changed.

It’s a hallmark of “OCCUPY” that they have the people who always say they’re peaceful, nonviolent, then they have the people, who are disavowed whenever they’re caught, who defocate in public places, smash windows, rape, pillage and murder. Actually in some of the more openly violent and anarchistic occu-tard locations (LA and the Bay Area come to mind) they’re a lot more open about their willingness to resort to violence and criminal acts. It’s in pansy locations like Cleveland where they pretend, a la Hamas and other “palestinian” groups, that they have nothing to do with the violent, terroristic wing of their group.

‘The idea of Obama getting credit for killing bin Laden just drives conservatives up a tree’
    ————
Actually no, it doesn’t, because Obama was half a world away when Osama was killed and so deserves NO credit. We will likely either never know who deserves the credit for actually killing him, or maybe in 50 years those of us who are still around may find out.

Now we see that Obama actually even delegated the mission in order to have someone to throw under the bus if it went wrong. Prior to learning that I openly credited Obama with managing this mission but it turns out that was hasty as he didn’t.

The credit for killing Osama goes to those who did the work to find him and then to actually go there and do it, not those who are trying to hog the credit while doing little if anything to actually make it happen.

Giving Obama the credit for killing Osama just shows what a lyin lunatic one is. Doesn’t drive us up a tree – if anything it makes us double over in laughter.

    Lao-Z,

Mukasey described the memo as “highly lawyered”. Here is the memo below.

I do not think he’s confused about it.

You are either confused or are confusing yourself when you say that: Your (Fiberal’s) claims that a scribbled, hand written memo, was “lawyered up”, is certainly amusing.

Now just what are you trying to say? Either you’re saying that Mukasey is mistaken, lying or that it is simply your opinion that the memo is not lawyered up.

The memo reflects a directive of documented risks;, i.e., the risk profile that we have not yet seen (and is most assuredly “lawyered up”) which I presume is also what Mukasey refers to as “will be tumbling out.”

Now try and muster enough reserve to be clear in your response and I will try very hard not to call you names.

    Like obfuscating, confused, willfully stupid, argumentative, self-contradicting, sub-human, cut&paste, button-pushing, dirt-eating imbecile.

    MEMO FOR THE RECORD Apr. 29, 2011, 10:35 a.m.

Received phone call from Tom Donilon who stated that the President made a decision with regard to AC1 [Abbottabad Compound 1]. The decision is to proceed with the assault. The timing, operational decision making and control are in Admiral McRaven’s hands. The approval is provided on the risk profile presented to the President. Any additional risks are to be brought back to the President for his consideration. The direction is to go in and get bin Laden and if he is not there, to get out. Those instructions were conveyed to Admiral McRaven at approximately 10:45 am.

  • lao

fibby, Mukasey is mistaken, might be lying, and is playing lame partisan politics over a scrawled, hand-written note that is difficult to actually read, and is a mighty poor excuse for a “lawyered-up” document.

Like I said, when the supposed other documents that support his beliefs come “tumbling out”, be sure to link them.

Since the claim is that this memo provides “cover” for Obama I find it rather remarkable that the first two sentences clearly place the power for authorizing the assault in Obama’s hands.

Received phone call from Tom Donilon who stated that the President made a decision with regard to AC1 [Abbottabad Compound 1]. The decision is to proceed with the assault.

The final sentence tells us who is taking orders from who.

Those instructions were conveyed to Admiral McRaven at approximately 10:45 am.

I still do enjoy your frantic efforts at spin however.

For over a quarter of a century, Elizabeth Warren has described herself as a Native American. When recently asked to provide evidence of her ancestry, she pointed to an unsubstantiated claim on an 1894 Oklahoma Territory marriage license application by her great-great grand uncle William J. Crawford that his mother, O.C. Sarah Smith Crawford, Ms. Warren’s great-great-great grandmother, was a Cherokee.
After researching her story, it is obvious that her “family lore” is just fiction.
As I pointed out in my article here on Sunday, no evidence supports this claim. O.C. Sarah Smith Crawford had no Cherokee heritage, was listed as “white” in the Census of 1860, and was most likely half Swedish and half English, Scottish, or German, or some combination thereof. (Note, the actual 1894 marriage license makes no claim of Cherokee ancestry.)
But the most stunning discovery about the life of O.C. Sarah Smith Crawford is that her husband, Ms. Warren’s great-great-great grandfather, was apparently a member of the Tennessee Militia who rounded up Cherokees from their family homes in the Southeastern United States and herded them into government-built stockades in what was then called Ross’s Landing (now Chattanooga), Tennessee—the point of origin for the horrific Trail of Tears, which began in January, 1837.

Aides want to portray the president as still highly popular among young people and still able to energize large crowds.”
And, sure enough, when the rally took place with empty seats, Political Punch’s headline after the event was: “Thousands Turn Out for Obama, But Ohio Arena Goes Unfilled.” The story said: “Obama wasn’t able to fill the stands at the 18,300-seat Schottenstein Center (about 4,300 seats were empty).”

If ever there were a case for eliminating the discipline, the sidebar explaining some of the dissertations being offered by the best and the brightest of black-studies graduate students has made it. What a collection of left-wing victimization claptrap. The best that can be said of these topics is that they’re so irrelevant no one will ever look at them.

That’s what I would say about Ruth Hayes’ dissertation, “‘So I Could Be Easeful’: Black Women’s Authoritative Knowledge on Childbirth.” It began because she “noticed that nonwhite women’s experiences were largely absent from natural-birth literature, which led me to look into historical black midwifery.” How could we overlook the nonwhite experience in “natural birth literature,” whatever the heck that is? It’s scandalous and clearly a sign that racism is alive and well in America, not to mention academia.

Then there is Keeanga-Yamahtta Taylor, author of “Race for Profit: Black Housing and the Urban Crisis of the 1970s.” Ms. Taylor believes there was apparently some kind of conspiracy in the federal government’s promotion of single family homes in black neighborhoods after the unrest of the 1960s. Single family homes! The audacity! But Ms. Taylor sees that her issue is still relevant today. (Not much of a surprise since the entirety of black studies today seems to rest on the premise that nothing much has changed in this country in the past half century when it comes to race. Shhhh. Don’t tell them about the black president!) She explains that “The subprime lending crisis, if it did nothing else, highlighted the profitability of racism in the housing market.” The subprime lending crisis was about the profitability of racism? Those millions of white people who went into foreclosure were just collateral damage, I guess.

    Lao-Z,

    Okay idiot..One——More——Time

    This is the directive:

The approval is provided on the risk profile presented to the President. Any additional risks are to be brought back to the President for his consideration.

    That’s from the memo, Genius.

The risk profile is the document we haven’t yet seen (sealed with BO’s birth certificate?). The “risk profile” likely constitutes a lists of risks and is what qualified the mission.

    This is the hedge:
Any additional risks are to be brought back to the President for his consideration.

Now read that very, very carefully: this line means that any other risks that have to be taken, would have needed BO’s approval. Therefore, if anything happened that was not within the approved profile of risks, (A, B and C) then BO is off the hook.

However, once in, no one can be sure that the mission would not have encountered other risks — if the mission failed —then that would have had to have been due to risks not approved.

That is, McRaven took unapproved risks. BO did not approve of them. McRaven gets blamed. BO struts away.

    Understand?

This is entirely consistent with what Mukasey is saying and is consistent with the memo provided; even though you happen to think he’s playing politics, is mistaken and lying. No surprise there.

What we’re missing in the larger picture, going around and around, arguing with an idiot, is that no president has ever done anything like this. No president ever would, bc up until BO, presidents to a man (well, maybe not Clinton) would have owned up to their responsibilities without trying to formulate a fail-safe, legal, politically-insulated escape clause.

    F’n disgusting.

Lao-Z, let me give you a piece of gratuitous advice: When you insist on not admitting that you are wrong on a topic, to the point where all you can do is call “liar”, you better have some evidence.

    .
Otherwise, you just continue to confirm what we already know.

This is the hedge: Any additional risks are to be brought back to the President for his consideration.

Off the hook? How? Something unforeseen happens. Following that guideline, McRaven consults the President. The President has to make a snap decision. How does that leave him off the hook? It doesn’t. It puts him right ON the hook.

Now, I can play “let’s pretend” just like you. “Let’s pretend” the following was NOT on “the approved profile of risks, (A, B and C)

“Let’s pretend” that the Pakistan Army launched a massive assault against the SEALs while they were still in the compound.

“Let’s pretend” that McRaven figured he could still get most of his boys out, but only if they returned fire against the Pakistan Army.

The memo said: Any additional risks are to be brought back to the President for his consideration.

McRaven calls the President. “Mr. President, I can get our boys out but we will have to return fire against the Pakistan Army. Do we have your permission to do so?”

Who is “on the hook”, McRaven or Obama?

re bobby @3:05 The 200 seat lie was with respect to claims that there was only one picture…that showed many more than 200 seats empty

bobby, do you EVER read> What did I say @2:49?

From my first comment on the Ohio rally: Was the place packed? No. There were reportedly over 14,000 people in the 18,000 seat arena.

To repeat: I pointed out that a multitude of far right blogs posted the SAME single photo you posted @9:14 pm.

I laughed at your picture of 200 empty chairs because it had already been acknowledged that there were 14,000 people in an 18,000 seat arena.

At 2:41 in this thread bobby quoted: The story said: “Obama wasn’t able to fill the stands at the 18,300-seat Schottenstein Center (about 4,300 seats were empty).”

So, we both agree. Somewhere around 4,000 seats were empty.

So do try to explain what your problem is with the seats.

  • Bob Roberts

Obviously our troll has never been in, nor contemplated, the actual heat of a real life engagement.

You don’t have time to “phone home”. Once you go “weapons hot” you stay that way until the threat is eliminated.

The ridiculous scenario the troll poses WOULD NEVER OCCUR – COULD NEVER OCCUR.

By the way, do you think that the aghast faces we see in the “situation room” image were perhaps either their reactions to the helo going down (shades of Jimmy Carter!) or maybe to seeing Osama get a bullet in the brain?

  • Bob Roberts

And the troll is claiming “we both agree” to things I never agreed to! That’s yet another lie.

What I’ve said, consistently, is that the Democrats routinely lie about their turnouts and usually by a factor of about 100% so I expect the ACTUAL turnout was closer to 7,000 and a look AT THE VIDEOS THE TROLL PROVIDED suggests that the actual turnout was perhaps that low or maybe, if we’re real generous, as much as something around 10,000.

THAT is what I said and since the troll claims we agree I’m going to settle on him admitting that I am right and the turnout was something between 7k-10k and the obamunists lied about that too.

  • Bob Roberts

The funny thing is the troll posts videos that he doesn’t even watch – how else would it be that his own posted videos prove what a liar he is?

  • lao

LOL!! bobby, YOU quoted the line about 4,300 empty seats. How many times have I been told, “you quote it, you own it”??

As for the Pakistan scenario, it WAS acknowledged as “let’s pretend”.

You want another fantasy? How about the Pakistan Army issues an ultimatum. They have surrounded the compound and and have announced that their Air Force has scrambled and are prepared to blow the choppers out of the sky unless the SEALs surrender.

McRaven calls the President. Who is on the hook?

  • Fiberal

    No wait.

Are you seriously saying that BO would be consulted “on line” as it were, for risk contingencies? As the mission was taking place?

Asking for permission to return fire?

Are you really stupid enough to mean what you just wrote here?

    .

No. The point is that there would NOT be a point at which McRaven, once the Seals were activated, and the mission was underway, WOULD go to BO for anything.

He couldn’t. The Seals would be autonomous.

NOW if anything happened outside of the risk profile, McRaven is on the hook; BO struts out to accolades for trying.

You still don’t got it do you?

    .
Or given that no one is as stupid as this, you are simply unable to admit you’re wrong.

That’s why your only recourse at this point is to call Mukasey a liar.

And to repeat your same stupidity.

  • Fiberal

    But hey….that’s okay.

  • lao

fibby, it’s you who doesn’t get it.

You acknowledge that the memo specifically raises the issue of contacting the President mid mission.

Any additional risks are to be brought back to the President for his consideration.

Your claim is, apparently, “Oh, we didn’t actually MEAN that, we put that in there so we could blame McRaven when he failed to do it.”

    Nice try.

  • Fiberal
