Congress Won’t Stop Obama if He Is Reelected

If Barack Hussein Obama is reelected, he won’t need a Democrat-controlled Congress to finish “fundamentally transforming” American into a place no American would want to live in. Congress is irrelevant so long as Obama sits atop the faceless, unaccountable, ever-growing, utterly malevolent blob known as the federal bureaucracy:

For example, in the 2,700 pages of ObamaCare there are more than 2,500 references to the Secretary of Health and Human Services. There are more than 700 instances when he or she is instructed that they “shall” do something and more than 200 times when they “may” take at their sole discretion some form of regulatory action. On 139 occasions, the law mentions that the “Secretary determines.” In essence one person, appointed by and reporting to the president, will be in charge of the health care of 310 million Americans once ObamaCare is fully operational in 2014.

The same is true in the 2,319 pages of the Dodd-Frank Financial Reform Act which confers nearly unlimited power on various agencies to control by fiat the nation’s financial, banking and investment sectors. The bill also creates new agencies, such as the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, not subject to any oversight by Congress. This overall process was repeated numerous times with other legislation all with the intent of granting unfettered power to the executive branch controlled Barack Obama and his radical associates.

Additionally, the Obama administration has, through its unilaterally determined rule making and regulatory powers, created laws out of whole cloth. The Environmental Protection Agency on a near daily basis issues new regulations clearly out of their purview in order to modify and change environmental laws previously passed and to impose a radical green agenda never approved by Congress. The same is true of the Energy and Interior Departments among many others.

None of these extra-constitutional actions have been challenged by Congress. The left in America knows this usurpation of power is nearly impossible to reverse unless stopped in its early stages.

As for even a Republican Congress stopping him,

Barack Obama knows after his re-election a Republican controlled House and Senate will not be able to enact any legislation to roll back the power previously granted to the Executive Branch or usurped by them. His veto will not be overridden as there will always be at least 145 Democratic members of the House or 34 in the Senate in agreement with or intimidated by an administration more than willing to use Chicago style political tactics.

As ObamaCare proved, vociferous public opposition will be ignored. Obama will continue to exist inside a bubble of moonbattery in which he is the hero who saves America from individualism. The “mainstream” media will keep propagandizing on his behalf, even as the nation is destroyed.

The increasingly arrogant federal government will continue to metastasize explosively. Taxes will shoot into the stratosphere, yet fail to keep pace with the swelling debt. Inflation will wash our savings away. Our standard of living will crumble, along with our liberties. We will leave to the next generation the shabby ruins of what was once America.

On the brighter side, liberals will be able to smugly congratulate themselves on their historic political correctness.

If he’s reelected, all of America will be treated to a blood-curdling scream of, “Heeeeeere’s Barry!”

This is what I keep trying to tell those who say, “Romney can’t win, so let’s forget the presidency and focus on the House and Senate.” They really think that would stop him? It sure hasn’t so far. In term two, he’d be a disaster of nuclear scale.

Maybe somebody needs to tell the Paulbot camp that, Dave… Romney wasn’t my first choice either, but that’s over now and it’s another game… the Finals

An Obama 2nd term would make Pol Pot look like a piker- what do people think the DHS ammo buys and FEMA camps are all about

I have been saying the bureaucracy is like a Doomsday Device that cannot be turned off. President Romney can only slow the ticking, but the machine will still go on. That is why I have wondered aloud if the country wouldn’t be better off in the long run with a second coronation and accelerated collapse.

I had been counting on an eventual recovery, though The American Thinker piece makes me wonder if a recovery would ever take place after a final collapse. Instead, the Eternal Dictatorial Night of social justice utopia may prove to be the outcome.

The truth is, we are so far outside of the Constitution now, the bonds that kept US Government have been broken. The hard part is done from that perspective. It is easier to add more crushing layers on now that we are beyond the legitimacy of the US Constitution and it will continue to become even easier.

Speaking of perversions of law, crushing government, social justice etc.. Has anyone else seen the story that the FBI is looking to charge Mr. Zimmerman with the “white men only” HATE CRIME?? I have been angered all day by the story……

We are indeed headed towards the cliff, and Mitt McRINO has a very bold plan: downshift from fourth gear to third.

Remember when that crazy uncle of ours talked about taking a chainsaw to the metastasizing bureaucracy? We weren’t listening.

Now we’re going to get the government we deserve, one way or the other.

If we allow the system to collapse, there is no chance of ever getting back the constitution and the constitutional republic outlined by the founders.

In fact, history teaches that every failed republic is replaced with a dictator.

Say what you will about Mitt, but Mitt was still a good businessman who was willing to cut non-productive areas of business.

Can Mitt see the light and start eliminating agencies al la Ron Paul. After the election, I think so. Before the election, he has to appear reasonable to the moderates that voted for Obama last election.

Just consider the fact that in 2008, Mitt was considered too conservative.

BTW, the agencies that are created by Dodd Frank are funded by the banks, not be congress. They can’t be defunded by congress.

There was nothing lean or efficient about how Mitt ran Massachusetts or the rotten incentives baked into Romneycare.

I’m still having a hard time getting past the fact that he stomped all over the Second Amendment and took people’s guns away.

It seems that whichever candidate wins, we lose.

Maybe the world is condemned to the New Dark Age that Churchill warned us about during the Second World War. Maybe, a Second Enlightenment will come some 500 years or so in the future. It is very easy to destroy an Industrialized Society as no one group retains the ability to produce high technology nor preserve or create its inherent information. The writings of Orwell, Huxley and Bradbury seem to becoming closer to realization daily. Maybe a resistance will be chosen to memorize a book after the Obama Firemen burn all of them.

These are the visions of the future that were derided throughout the last half of the twentieth century as being to fantastically negative to ever come to fruition. There was always a belief that the human spirit would somehow always emerge and trump this future from existing. It doesn’t seem that way now.

The correlation to the world in the late 1930′s and now is an interesting one. Fascism, Communism and Democracy all met in a collision course of European Fanaticism that brought the entire planet to war. The correlation with today is that there is no great difference between European and American Collectivism aside from steps along the same path. We are marching to that same Nazi/Communist Utopia in one form or another.

There seems to be no ideological differences nor competing ideologies only brand names.

They all end with the same crushing of individual freedom based upon an unholy mix of perverted science, social experimentation and an overwhelming desire to erase once and for all the differences which defined cultures and nations.

All of those who died defeating the Nazis and the Communists seemed to have died in vain, when only 70 years later their grandchildren are running with exuberance and joy into the “loving” arms of their grandparents murderers and mortal enemies.

Wow, justme, how do you top that…
    WELL SAID.
    But how sad it’s true.
    God Bless America!
