@Jimbo; I can only speak to the Dept of the Interior and the USFWS. DOI has police officers who patrol DOI land. Here in MD, there’s DOI land that is crossed by the busy BW Parkway and the DOI cops WILL pull you over for speeding or other violations. A lot of them are on motorcycles when weather permits. The USFWS has a Law Enforcement branch who go after armed poachers, mostly and need to be armed. I only know this because I worked there. The others, I couldn’t tell ya.
