No wonder Barack Hussein Obama hits it off so well with the moonbats at the United Nations. They are right there on the same page. Remember when Obama said this?
“We can’t drive our SUVs and eat as much as we want and keep our homes on 72 degrees at all times … and then just expect that other countries are going to say OK. That’s not leadership. That’s not going to happen.”
An echo comes back from United Nations Development Programme head Helen Clark:
“[F]rankly human development in the West — we don’t need more cars, more TV, whatever.”
It isn’t just Americans whose standard of living must be lowered in the interests of international social justice. All successful societies must be punished until we have reached the lowest common denominator of drinking out of the same puddles we dump our sewage buckets in.
Clark spewed her moonbattery at the Rio+20 summit.
If Clark’s remarks are indicative of the goals of the conference, attempts to stress “sustainable development” in developing countries, at the expense of developed countries, will be put into motion.
“Sustainable” means “unsustainable,” since after the West has been bled to death by moonbats, there will be no one left to pour money down socialist Third World rat holes.
