Downstream of a Sewage Plant

Politics is downstream of culture, which is why our moonbat rulers follow Antonio Gramsci's strategy of seizing control of strategic high ground (the media, academia) and using it to weaken the culture, rather than trying to inflict communism all at once through brute force. Our willingness to tolerate and possibly even extend the presidency of Barack Hussein Obama is a testament to the strategy’s efficacy. Though Democrats have profited enormously from induced cultural decay, now that Rep. Gary Ackerman (D-NY) is retiring, he can tell the truth:

“Society has changed. The public is to blame as well. I think the people have gotten dumber. I don’t know that I would’ve said that out loud pre-my announcement that I was going to be leaving. [Laughter] But I think that’s true. I mean everything has changed. The media has changed. We now give broadcast licenses to philosophies instead of people.”

Virtually everything broadcast on television advances the same philosophy: moonbattery.

Soon politics will be superfluous, because the American people will have been “fundamentally transformed.” Already if James Madison came back from the dead and ran on a platform of restoring the Constitution, against Robert Mugabe running on a platform of spreading white folks’ wealth around, there is no doubt the media would stridently side with Mugabe, and little doubt that Mugabe would win.

What if George Washington himself returned and was somehow made president? His attempts to preserve liberty and honor would be met with hoots of derision by the media. It would be like making him president of the monkey cage at the zoo. Eloquent speeches have little effect when your audience is crapping in their hands and flinging it at you. In the end he would be hounded out of office for his insensitivity to the historically disadvantaged.

Consequently, even if the Democrats manage to lose, we will be left with a “moderate” who will advance their agenda, just slightly more slowly.

Some 15 years ago while at Cedar Point in Sandusky, OH I had a t-shirt made at a kiosk. It featured the Trix rabbit with the phrase ” Silly Faggot, Dix are for Chix!” Some people are aware that amusement parks are notorius employers of LGBT’s. You should have seen the looks I got from the staff… Most folks attending laughed and liked it!

  • Bob Roberts

The Republican leadership apparently feels that a true conservative, someone similar to Reagan, can’t win.

I wish they’d run one so we can prove how wrong they are.

They are part of why we had 4 years of Obama – never should have run McCain.

  • AC

Too many of our universities have been downstream of the Kremlin’s effluent for decades.

Where are the water quality bureaucrats when we need them?

  • Brendan Rizzo

Oh please, if anyone is dumbing down American culture, it’s you conservatives, what with your dislike of public education and advocacy of superstitious pseudoscience.

Also, Obama is no more a communist than you are. Or have you not noticed the utter lack of redistribution of wealth under his presidency?

  • metalgarth

I worked at Cedar Point 20 years ago. You are absolutely correct that a large percentage of its workforce was homosexual.

Are you referring to the miserable failure of a public school system we have, which routinely underperforms other nations which spend far less per pupil?

Conservatives support school choice, a reduction in bureaucracy, performance incentives, teacher accountability, and student discipline.

Also, Obama is no more a communist than you are. Or have you not noticed the utter lack of redistribution of wealth under his presidency?

Have you noticed the utter flood of food stamps, welfare, stimulus, and other giveaways?

  • Rob Banks

    @Brendan Rizzo

Advocating superstitious pseudoscience? If you really want to see some superstitious pseudoscience advocacy, bring up the correlation between race and IQ to a liberal.

    Brendan Rizzo says:

That may be the most under-educated ill-informed ignorant response ever posted on this site.

You have to be the guy under the rock in the Geico commercial, a surreptitious Canadian troll, or have the intellectual curiosity of the Geico rock itself, to make statements so patently out of touch with reality.

If ignorance is bliss, you must wear a permanent grin.

Do you refer to the same “hard proven science” that put EXERCISE on the FOOD pyramid?

Conservatives oppose CRAP lessons such as diversity, recycling, how-to fornication, socialism and race-baiting.

  • KHarn

    One more thing, BRENDAN RIZZO;
For several years, America has been adopting socialism. Once again, just like EVERY OTHER TIME, it has FAILED and made things WORSE.

Why, if you “Liberals” are so smart, do you insist on backing a system that results in FAILIOR AND MISERY every time?

  • Fiberal

Careful guys…We just got rid of Lao-Z.

Liberals will attach themselves to anything that gives them attention.

If you’re going to chance it, wait for one with at least the intelligence of a bedpan.

Isn’t Gramscian just a fancy way to say Jew?

Cut off my cable service and got rid of my TV six years ago. One of the best decisions I have made.

    Fight back.

It’s been a while since anyone from the K.K.K. has visited this site…..not a lot of in-bred haters drop by…..how are your prison swastika tattoos holding up in the light of day?

A couple of your radical Muslim Brotherhood buddies blogged here the other day – same mindset…damn Jews.

Since you and your radical Muslim twins..er, friends, are nearly identical, what do you think of the K.K.K. eventually wearing headscarves and robes?

And would you be willing to dump the boots for sandals?

  • Hedgehog

True. They don’t want to get the mares nervous. The herd might run.

I’ve worked in sewage plants. Trust me, this administration is far worse.

They need a double-dose of alum in the clarifiers.

RE: Brendan Rizzo says: Also, Obama is no more a communist than you are. Or have you not noticed the utter lack of redistribution of wealth under his presidency?

Brendan, you do show your lack of knowledge on this issue. Doesn’t take much to find out what party BO belonged to in Chicago before changing over to the Democratic party since they knew he wouldn’t get elected belonging to the party he did. Also, read his book about his mentor and what party his mentor belonged to. It only speaks of ignorance to try to discredit anyone who knows BO is a socialist when it comes to others’ money. I agree, when it comes to his millions he is a capitalist all the way. He even prefers spending our money on his family’s luxurious life now that he is in office. Hopefully we can get him sent back to playing golf in Chicago where he came up in its sewer politics.

    AC says:

Actually, AC, the test scores of our public school students do not yet miserably underperform those of other nations – once the scores of certain ethnic groups are removed from the total average. As to what they are ‘learning’ in History or Social ‘Science’, yeah, that’s already a problem.
