Follow the Ideology
There are more pernicious forms of corruption than lust for money. The most malignant of all is moonbattery, as Bill Whittle makes clear in the context of Fast & Furious:

I posted this link in the Open Thread but it belongs here. Rachel Madcow and Bill Maher are discussing F&F and he says its a big to do about 200 dead Mexicans “and as we all know, Republicans don’t care about dead Mexicans”. He doesn’t mention our two dead Americans. However, Nick Gillespie, editor of Reason Magazine, explains it to them.

Journ-o-lists carry Zero’s water because they share the same leftist ideology. And integrity means nothing to these people. Remember their mantra when it comes to elections…anything to win. That means cheating, lying, obfuscation; whatever it takes. Including one of the worst crimes of their profession: withholding of information or a story because it might be damaging to their messiah. It’s why 0bong0 wasn’t vetted in 2008. And it’s why I despise the vast majority of journ-o-lists, including a few who purport to be on our side. I rank them below trial lawyers and used car salesmen on my sh!tlist.
Yet there is a distinct lack of outrage over the Chinese-made knives used by the Zetas to remove the heads of their enemies and innocents alike.

During this period you could buy a full auto AK For $50-100 at Mexico’s SOUTHERN borders/coasts. That is why US guns account for only 2% (no that is not a typo) of the illegal guns in Mexico. Why buy a semi-auto in Arizona for $500? Convenience – but it is only convenient if you can get away with it. In comes Holder and Obama. Suddenly the bad guys can not only get away with it; now they can buy in bulk!
If politicians don’t bring these criminals to justice in spite of what the media says, I will never trust one ever again. They have the power to do so and usually are more concerned with what the media says about them and their own careers than justice. If it were a normal citizen, we all know justice would be served. This is serious business and they better do the right thing.
