TSA Agent Spills Grandpa’s Ashes, Laughs

Government is coercion. Consequently, it tends to attract people who enjoy applying coercion. Thugs are especially numerous in the TSA:

John Gross, a resident of Indianapolis’ south side, was leaving Florida with the remains of his grandfather — Mario Mark Marcaletti, a Sicilian immigrant who worked for the Penn Central Railroad in central Indiana — in a tightly sealed jar marked “Human Remains.”

Gross said he didn’t think he’d have a problem, until he ran into a TSA agent at the Orlando airport.

“They opened up my bag, and I told them, ‘Please, be careful. These are my grandpa’s ashes,'” Gross told RTV6’s Norman Cox. “She picked up the jar. She opened it up.

“I was told later on that she had no right to even open it, that they could have used other devices, like an X-ray machine. So she opened it up. She used her finger and was sifting through it. And then she accidentally spilled it.”

Gross says about a quarter to a third of the contents spilled on the floor, leaving him frantically trying to gather up as much as he could while anxious passengers waited behind him.

“She didn’t apologize. She started laughing. I was on my hands and knees picking up bone fragments. I couldn’t pick up all, everything that was lost.”

If only life were the cheap horror movie it sometimes resembles, Grandpa might rise up from the ashes left behind to seek revenge for this indignity. How can you rest in peace when a government goon has strewn you around in pieces?

want to guess her color and his?

  • Sgt Stadenko

He is obviously of Sicilian descent; who gives a flying f*ck who her ancestors were. This kind of callous disrespect is endemic in the TSA. They probably attend mandatory seminars training them in it.

    BBBut don’t you feel safer?

  • Brian_Boru

Please don’t do that again. I hate clowns.

  • WhereIsOurPinochet

    TSA sheboon: Wut in heah?

    Gross: Don’t open that!

    [Sheboon opens the jar]

Sheboon: Look like lotta ashes n sheet. Wut dis fo. [Sifts fingers through the jar]

Gross: Those are my grandfather’s ashes!

Sheboon: Muhfuggin ashes, sheeit. [drops jar on the ground] Ah sheeit, I jus fuggin dropped it, haha.

    Gross: You idiot!

Sheboon: Shut yo fuckin mouf cracka. Aint no mufuggin ashes be allowed on no mufuggin plane, sheeit. Nex!

What a callous, stupid bitch. Anyone want to bet she gets a promotion for horrific behavior?

  • StanInTexas

When you give petty and incompetent people power, and absolve them from all accountability, THIS is the result.

It is only a matter of time before one of these TSA agents is REALLY assaulted. The very sad thing is that I have encountered many very kind and professional TSA agents. This female is NOT among them.

  • FrankW

idk Stan, I have yet to meet very many professional TSA agents (at either end). I generally alternate between the morons who confiscate a blood sugar meter used for diabetes to the brainiacs that tried to scan my credit cards. I have seen kind agents, one actually pushed the wheelchair of a elderly woman to the scanner (banged her leg into about 10 different things on route). Even the ones I do not classify as morons tend to be gruff and a few weeks ago I actually was able to gain a contact high just from being frisked (I think he had just finished a bong).
If TSA was a private company would they:
    1. Avoid lawsuits for groping and indecent contact?
    2. Avoid lawsuits for being luggage thieves?
    3. Avoid lawsuits after the unplugged scanner incident the other day?
If TSA was a private company they would be vilified from both sides. libs would rip them for privacy rights, and conservatives would rip them for everything else.

  • StanInTexas

That is all very true, Frank, and I’m sorry for your experiences. I have had the same types of things happen.
Long security lines at DFW with ONE agent dealing with passengers while SEVEN others stand behind the line talking and texting.
The young men and women barking orders at older people and LOUDY treating them as if they were children.
I have been fortunate that I have never personally witnessed a TSA agent explore their inner-pedophile and mistreat a child.

But there are the professionals that say please and thank you and at least TRY to make the experience bearable. They are in the minority and I’m sure the TSA management is trying to get them out, as they make the others look so much worse.

BTW, did you know that the situation of the unplugged scanner was that the operator was a MUSLIM. Wonder how many people went through (accidentally of course) before things were caught?

  • FrankW

    I caught that, but the PC police have tried to indoctrinate tolerance for all but white males, so I can not actually accuse him of nefarious acts. {endsub sarc}
Because I love a good conspiracy I think it was a test run for the next 9/11. But I am told by liberal relatives I am an Islamophobe and have a generally pessimistic view of people in general.

  • StanInTexas

Did they also tell you that you are ugly and your mother dresses you funny? 😉

Being insulted by a Liberal is a complement to me!

  • Logic Mine

ONCE AGAIN! The illustreous TSA has made another JACKPOT WINNER!

(Oh yeah, the TSA better start getting used to their new Nickname;…..”DEFENDANT”.)

Of course I’m speaking in the MULTI-MILLION dollar range.

  • StanInTexas

Logic Mine, don’t count on it.

A TSA Agent at DFW was arrested for stealing and selling iPads. They were found in his possession and in his home. He was convicted, had to give back the iPads and got a few months of PROBATION. I was unable to confirm that he is not longer employed by the TSA.

Being in the government means never having to say you’re sorry!

  • whotothewhat

Too bad the jar wasn’t a prank. A jar marked human remains. A TSA agent decides to open takes lid off and spring loaded snakes pop out. Of course that would be funny till TSA goons start beating you down for having the gall to embarrass one of their own but a YouTube momment never the less.

  • Rex Freeway

They would have to pick her teeth up off the ground if it were my grandfathers ashes

  • FrankW

Actually they are sorta right. I dislike most people (respect and admiration must be earned). On the Islamic issue, jury is still out (metaphorically).

  • …and people wonder why I stopped using the airlines.

whta the hell are we waiting for? Why aren’t these POS Nazis being dealt with right on the spot? How many more years of callous BS will we just take and take?

  • Sandy

    Fire her ass!!!!!!

  • Sardonic

WTF is up with the racist “sheboon” commentary? Take that shit to stormfront you narrow minded retard.

  • ant

They must be geniuses. I mean, if you are in place to be looking out for explosive materials, bio and chemical weapons, etc., is it proper protocol to open it up and stick your finger in it? That’s some training our government people receive.

  • Geoada

I hope when she takes her final dirt nap she rots and burns in hell. Now why doesn’t everyone just stop flying, period and tell all the airlines “WE AREN’T FLYING AGAIN UNTIL YOU TELL THE GOVERNMENT TO GET RID OF TSA” Then do it, don’t fly. The airlines will be screaming within days of all the money they are losing cause no one will fly as long as TSA is around.
When you continue to give up freedom to feel safe soon you will be niether safe nor free.

  • Fuck all these 3-letter federal angencies who do NOTHING but spy on us and promote fear.

Abolish the god damned TSA, NSA, DHS, FBI, DEA, CIA, DOD, FEMA, etc…

  • Logic Mine

    (sorry for the late reply)…

Well, a man can have a dream can’t he?
    (refering to lawsuit awarded compensation).

I find that strange that I consider “JUSTICE” a “dream” anymore. Back in the 60’s it was more of common place.
