Divide and Conquer

The healthy melting pot has been replaced with multiculti balkanization. It’s part of a deliberate strategy, as Rep. Allen West explains:

Talk about projection… and the best repubs can come up with is Romney…??? who can’t even manage to bullshit properly and is almost as crass Duh-bya.

  2. Anon-Y-Mouse says:

Romney had this handed to him (in more ways than one), including a HORRIBLE June for Obama. What did he do? Went jet-skiing. Flubbed Obama-Care-Tax. Hemmed and hawed. Spent his time looking like he wishes he could be nicer to Obama.

THEY MUST DRAFT ALLEN WEST AT THE CONVENTION or it’s over. Romney has zero chance, and even were he to win, does anyone have any confidence that this guy will man-up and lead?

  3. dan says:

I could see West as VP of RON PAUL…but he hasn’t won the delegates that Paul has or have the organization

UNEMPLOYMENT RATE DROPPED IN EVERY STATE THAT ELECTED A REPUBLICAN GOV. IN 2010

There’s a clear message in that one for all of you who need jobs: Elect REPUBLICANS!

You want to see what a real war on women looks like? Taliban shoot woman 9 times in public execution as men cheer

Officials in Afghanistan, where the amateur video was filmed, believe the woman was executed because two Taliban commanders had a dispute over her, according to the governor of the province where the killing took place.
Both apparently had some kind of relationship with the woman, said Parwan province governor Abdul Basir Salangi.
“In order to save face,” they accused her of adultery, Salangi said.
Then they “faked a court to decide about the fate of this woman and in one hour, they executed the woman,” he added.

  5. Anon-Y-Mouse says:

Dan, if West were drafted by the convention, it would be the biggest story of the decade. He’d get more eyes on him in one day than Big Mitt will in his lifetime.

Romney is a sure loser (hear that, Ann Coulter?). Obviously, anything is better than Obama, but you have to BEAT Obama, and unless The Man From Michigan suddenly lights up like the infamous Madam LaRue pinball machine, he’s toast. I don’t see how he can pull it off.

Draft West. He has integrity, he’s strong, he’s all American and he’s can-do. If we lost with him, at least I’d be proud to go down with a real hero.

“No,” Boehner said. “Listen, we’re just politicians. I wasn’t elected to play God. The American people probably aren’t going to fall in love with Mitt Romney. I’ll tell you this: 95 percent of the people that show up to vote in November are going to show up in that voting booth, and they are going to vote for or against Barack Obama.

“Mitt Romney has some friends, relatives and fellow Mormons … some people that are going to vote for him. But that’s not what this election is about. This election is going to be a referendum on the president’s failed economic policies.

Because we all know nothing gets the base revved more than the “we suck, but our opponent sucks more” argument
If I didn’t know better, it would seem he is checking to see that his sorry rear fits in his old minority chair yet

  10. dan says:

I’d be more interested in Johnson if I thought a third party had a chance with the current setup…and I’m more than open to West.I think the key/transitional man for the job is Paul just because it IS a left/ right paradigm. If we cajole the tea-party conservative to ally with the libertarians AND the independents we might just keep this country from sliding into oblivion.

  11. Anon-Y-Mouse says:

Ron Paul would be a joke if he weren’t so dangerous. If THAT is who we need, maybe Obama should win and end America as we know it for good.

Then we can start over…too bad it might take a few hundred years to find our way back, but that’s the price we pay for having vermin like Debbie Wasserman-Schultz and Nancy Pelosi in positions of power.

No more of this crap. We once again “settled” for the “more electable” candidate, and we see how that’s going so far. It’s time for more bold colors and less pastels.

  12. Dr. 9 says:

The Republican party has become the symbol of weakness and impotency, which is why they came up with Romney. They lack the fire, passion, and balls, of the left, which is why Romney will lose. And don’t be shocked if we lose the House as well.

The only way to defeat the left is to use their own tactics against them. Playing “by the rules”, as Republicans prefer doing, simply means their loss is easily predictable.

  13. Louie says:

But in terms of political gamesmanship, Paul really isn’t electable, is he? Won’t he just Ross Perot the conservative vote and give us four more years of Obama? In that context, therefore, isn’t a vote for Paul also a vote for Obama, in that it’s a vote taken away from Romney? Isn’t the goal here anybody but Obama, and must we all not therefore vote for he who is most electable?

Just askin’. I would love to vote for Paul, but fear that doing so simply to make a statement would be to assist Obama, which I/we simply cannot do.

  14. Louie says:

And I would vote for West, or a ticket that included him, in a heartbeat!

  15. Anon-Y-Mouse says:

West, all the way. Paul is a loose cannon, and hard-core libertarianism is way off the chart. (They talk “Constitution” but have an agenda as sure as the progressives.)

The Repubs HAVE gone squishy, and they either shake-up and wake-up or Dr. 9 has it about right.

I’m not hopeful. (Gotta hand it to the progs, they are not afraid to get down and dirty…ever.)

  19. dan says:

well…hell yes libertarians have an agenda and Paul is the camels nose under the tent…where do you think the Tea-party started.Getting control back from the Rino /
blueblooded Repubs is the name of the game. They’re only in control because they control the purse.I have no love for GOPers any more than pretenders like Pelosi or Reid
or Baroke Soetero.Who in their right mind would support Mitt except a party bot when there ‘s a clear alternative,,,and IMHO,Johnson would be the Perot.

  20. Ghost of FA Hayek says:

    Folks,
stop looking to one person to be your salvation.
It’s time to force these clowns to dismantle this monster we call the Federal government.
Then who is in office would be inconsequential
Even the thought of this action is so scarey to them, the administration labels you a terrorist for merely bringing it up.
    Dr9
Here in the land of ten thousand loons, Republicans finally gained control of the house and senate for the first time since well, dinosaurs roamed the land
Proud establishment rino’s then proceeded to slither from their rocks to take undue credit for this great victory. (real thanks should be awarded to radical leftists confident of eternal power for scaring the bejeebers out of voters)
They then proceeded to fall to pieces
    http://www.startribune.com/printarticle/?id=148752335
But don’t despair the ending, where the author sifts through the ashes to pick out any salvageable rino to oppose the left .
The democrats will NOT completely destroy the republican party.
In fact, they NEED a limp noodle (partial) opposition party to offset the economic calamity collectivism carries in with it.

So totally agree that it’s not about a leader (they always have feet of clay)or a party. It’s about a system where EVERYTHING is a Federal offense that sends you to the Gulag….what happened to Natural Rights and liberty.
