Love the graphic. Ironic that Obama tries to convince us that he is the common man, even as he jets around the country, hobnobbing with the rich and powerful. The crown seems to fit his persona.

  2. Jimbo says:

VP Rice? Not only would I vote for Condi Rice, I’d marry her if she asked. =-]

Damn. I’m already married. But I can still vote a ticket with her on it.

  3. Bob Roberts says:

I’d like to see the Democrats try to do to Condi Rice what they did to Sarah Palin.

San Bernardino bankruptcy: Criminal probe underway

D.C. officer allegedly made threatening comments about first lady

This is uncalled for. We really don’t need to be threatening our elected officials, let alone their families. If you don’t like them, VOTE THEM OUT!

Obama’s Absence The Talk Of NAACP Convention There’s a perfectly logical reason Obama was a no-show. If he showed up he would have had to explain how, under his “leadership” (believe me, I use that word in the loosest possible sense), blacks have consistently lost ground and are now much worse off than when he was elected.

Yet another important reminder of how much Obama has to hide.

I’m willing to put my neck on the line and state that a big reason is he probably registered as a foreign national in order to get tuition breaks and/or grants and such.

  4. AC says:

Rice? Republicans need to stop playing the “us too” racial game. While I like Rice, Mitt’s ticket doesn’t need more executive foreign policy experience. What it lacks is solid fiscally conservative legislative experience.

Blacks who will vote against Obama will do so because the yoke of Comrade Chairman’s socialism is chafing their family, not because of the correct color on Mitt’s ticket. Racially motivated voters will still prefer a black president to a black vice president.

We need Paul Ryan, an economist and the chief author of the Path to Prosperity budget.

Two thirds of registered voters supported cap, cut, and balance.

If the Republicans don’t run on spending and the economy then they will lose.

  5. AC says:

I’d like to see the Democrats try to do to Condi Rice what they did to Sarah Palin.

They don’t have to. Race and entitlement motivated voters will not be drawn away from a black Santa Claus with a big bag of goodies from Uncle Sugar to a ticket with a black in the second position. The liberal racemongers don’t have to destroy Rice, merely point out that she would be serving second to a white man. The moonbat screech owls at MSLSD would claim that running Rice as VP is racist, because it subjugates a black as a subordinate to a white.

As asinine as that sounds to you and me, it is what they will say, and the kool-aid guzzlers will drink it right up.

Imagine that, race politics in this country is so toxic that nominating a black woman for vice president would be denounced as an act of racism.

Identity politics is the Democrats’ game. We can’t win by playing by their rules. We need to nominate the best VP candidate possible, not the most racially strategic.

We can’t run with a platform of opportunity for all, independent of race, if we’re still making selections based on race.

Relax, she would never agree to it.

But you’ve got it wrong. She’s a capable, accomplished woman and all their race mongering will just make them look as stupid as we all know they are.

  10. Bob Roberts says:

Why didn’t we think of this? Of course the wildfires are the Tea Party’s fault!

I wish they would stop calling them “the 99%” as I’ve done the math on EVERY gathering where they reported the numbers (that I saw, naturally) and they were more like the .01%, if that.

  11. Roger_the_Shrubber says:

Mitt said he would have signed the NDAA.

He’s hardly in favor of freedom.

    Let’s be realistic.

  12. towerclimber37 says:

speaking of freedom, have you guys seen Wayne LaPierre’s address to the UN yet? best fucking speech I’ve ever heard in my life!

It’s very short. ultimatums usually are though. LaPierre slapped them all up side the head then threw the glove on the ground…then he walked past Hillary and punched her in the head with this speech. check it out:

    @AC:

What it lacks is solid fiscally conservative legislative experience.

Alan Keyes. One of my favorite quotes from him :

“You have the right to remain silent. If you give up this right, anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law.”

Why is it that that fundamental right, which is a consequence of the constitutional prohibition against self-incrimination, why is it that that’s thrown to the four winds, when it comes to enforcing the income tax?

    http://www.keyesarchives.com/transcript.php?id=450
Okay. Lacks legislative experience, but common sense …

  17. Bob Roberts says:

I’m sorry, but I’ve had an epiphany. I know it will upset you, but the socialists are correct: If they murder everyone that is unhappy they will indeed create paradise.

    I don’t know why I didn’t see it before.

The good thing is they are the unhappy ones… so they should GET TO IT!

Is it any wonder that they find nobody wants to hire them after they spend 4 years studying this nonsense?

  19. Bob Roberts says:

OK I’ve tried several ways to see if I could avoid whatever words/phrases are causing my post to reject – read carefully the link from my July 12, 2012 at 10:33 pm post – apparently the leftists involved complained about the fires, accusing conservatives of arson, BEFORE the fires started, thus suggesting THEY committed arson and intended to THEN blame it on the right but accidentally posted the blame before the fires were actually started, BY THEM.

  20. Bob Roberts says:

OK this is it, since I finally got that one to post.

A final note on “wildfires” which are a particular focus of Catastrophic Anthropogenic Climate Change Alarmists:

The reason they get going and do so much damage is indeed because of human interference, but it has NOTHING to do with climate change.

As I’ve said before (skip if you’ve heard it & understand), prior to the arrival of humans fire was part of the cycle of life in most areas. Sooner or later a lightning strike would light off a fire that would burn – this was all normal and natural. Then people came along and started knocking down fires as soon as they started. So the natural state was altered with things that would have been burned out in small, not so hot fires growing to the point where, once a fire happens, it rages hotter and completely out of control.

If we would allow fire to burn naturally this would not happen. But, of course, then we would have poor air quality when the fires ARE allowed to burn naturally and the left would never stand for that!

  21. Mike_W says:

It’s interesting as an outside observer to look at U.S. culture and the grip that PC and affirmative action has on you guys.
Blacks comprise 14% of the people, yet your political parties and cultural institutions feel it is necessary to have 50% blacks in executive positions.
    Same with your unions apparently.
Looking at your TV shows, advertising and media presenters shows exactly the same 50% black composition.
    Bizarre.

As tough this tyrannical irredentist is on taxpaying Americans, the exact opposite holds true when it comes to the way he deals with enemies like SOWdi Barbaria, iran, RNK and their ilk:

Good to see that Mittens has toughened up his advertising a little.. no need for him to try and get the hardcore Bam-Bam supporters on his side. What he does need to do is prove to US that he means business and that he will take on the RATs once he is elected instead of acting like another doormat like Bush did.

No matter what a R does the left will revile him, so might as well let it all hang out.

Look at what Bush put on SCOTUS for us!!!

You NEVER see a liberal judge betraying THEIR side.

    F*CK BUSH

As the owner of a successful hardware store, I can tell you I would have problems keeping a straight face to see a beta male in my shop with a resume bearing something like “A degree in lesbian studies”.. but to be fair, to carry heavy stuff, assemble machinery and help customers, I’d go with anyone with strong arms, a good head and no criminal record.

  27. Silverfiddle says:

The only problem with this picture is Obama is wearing armor. Were he in those times, he would be one of those sniveling, cowardly kings who stay behind in the palace while real men go out and do his grim work for him

  28. StanInTexas says:

Silverfiddle, that is not armor, but tin-foil!

    Make sense now???

  29. AC says:

Okay. Lacks legislative experience, but common sense …

We could use a VP with legislative experience to help keep big spending Boehner in line.

  30. GunnerJones says:

Comparing Obozo to Edward the First is not very accurate. King Edward Re Affirmed the Magna Charta, Threw out corrupt administrators, checked abuses of the Church, put his country on sound financial economics and was the worst enemy, foreign or personal, you could possible have. Sounds like somebody I’d want in charge right now.

  31. bigJOE says:

Dave, I have to say that I LOVE the ads for Brown and Franken to overturn Citizen’s United decision. Just one question though…

How is it that “Corporations are not people”, but Unions are?

  35. AC says:

The gimme culture: woman panhandles for money for breast implants

  36. Dave Blount says:

    StanInTexas,

Don’t blame me for the ads! They are generated; most of them I never see.

  37. StanInTexas says:

Not a blame, Dave. Sorry if you thought that!

I think it is GREAT that they are spending their money for ads that are going to people that will IN NO WAY WHATSOEVER support them. You gain income, they gain NOTHING!

When I said I loved them, that was NOT sarcasm!

  38. Henry says:

Bob, sorry to break it to you, but that Washington Fancy site is a parody – it’s just like The Onion. From the bottom of the site:

“The Washington Fancy is a political satire publication that parodies the news and composes fictitious articles. No composition should be regarded as truthful,
and no reference of an individual seeks to inflict malice or emotional harm.”

Only 2% of the American population is LGBT (actually 1% when you consider half of them don’t give a sh**) but they forcefully advance legislation, write a lop-sided majority of biased unhealthy Hollywood sit-com and movie script, and purposefully move themselves up in academe and media, to change the American cultural landscape and justify an egoistic perversion.

1% of the population is responsible for gay marriage (and future triunal marriages!), transexuals in the military, placing condoms on bananas in classrooms, a redefinition of sexuality – a person’s sex is not biological but emotional, for vile sodomite parades, for pedophilia (phallic-focus), and for feminizing the natural man and masculating the natural woman.

75% of America is supposed to be Christian but they are sadly silent and curiously acquiescent.

    Bizarre.

Even liberal whackjob prof calling for Obama’s defeat-

One of President Obama’s former Harvard professors is calling for the president’s defeat in November, releasing a scathing video in which he accuses the president of abandoning America’s workers while pushing a policy of “food stamps.”

Politico has long since banned me because they don’t like my politics, however, while I usually hate to go there because they are so sick, I was laughing because 95% of the posts were slamming o-BOMB-a … it was a total rout …. I encourage others to go there for the laughs … conservatives are treading all over Politico..

I could go on.
