200,000 Notches for Big Bad Barry
If there is one statistic that sums up Hope & Change, it is this one:
According to Census figures, some 200,000 small businesses disappeared from the rolls between 2008 and 2010.
These businesses that Obama managed to destroy with his demented deficit spending, malicious regulation, and climate of economic fear sustained about 3 million jobs.
Elections have consequences. If this collectivist is reelected, they will continue to be devastating.

With roughly 310 million people in the US, Obama still has quite a bit of work he’s planning for his second term.

I am a professional and have run my own business since 2006. My partner and I once had 12 employees in a state that used to be the envy of the rest of the country and the world – California.
California’s Democratic one-party rule has killed this state. Bammy is implementing California’s vile, destructive, suicidal job-killing, business-destroying policies, with the same tragic results.
Take it from me as one who took steps years ago to respond to these actions – businesses will respond. We let our employees go. We could NOT afford to pay their salary, health care, retirement, pay our own expenses, while sending the government a significant portion of our earnings.
We now use independent contractors for word processing, billing, sub-lease office space with a receptionist supplied, and have no employees. Go **** yourselves, politicians. I don’t work to pay YOUR bills.
Reagan Country = the 5th largest economy in the world if it were a country, highways that were the envy of the nation, and massive economic success and citizens moving here.
Leftist Country = bankrupt, losing businesses, losing actual citizens, flooded with illegal aliens, crime, decrepit roads.

@rightreason – thanks for the post. Obama is either clueless about how the economy works, or he does understand it and wants to destroy it. There really isn’t any middle ground that I can see. Both options are scary.
The middle ground, if there were one, is that the lefties (while they had congress and the WH) were trying to live a fantasy of implementing some sort of utopian dream world with the socialist bucket list yet still have a functional economy, and they failed.
I’m leaning more towards that being their cover story. They want the economy to fail so we’ll be forced to live off the government teat.

Now, is this an admission that Obama’s strategies have righted the ship, is this an admission that the GOP congress started to get things done when they got elected in during the 2010 elections, or is this an admission that job creators cannot wait on an inefficient and ineffective government to decide how they’re going to handle the economy? I’m gravitating toward the third part. Frankly, I don’t even think the taxes or the regulatory stuff is the problem anymore, but rather the lack of a concise and cohesive strategy from out government as to how business is going to be managed here on in. The job growth is positive, but it’s achingly slow and the uncertainties of our government’s fiscal policies, in addition to the international monetary markets, are the biggest drivers as to why we aren’t out of this recession yet.
If you’ll notice on most rightwing replies to topics they generally interject cute little derogatory names to enhance their hate of Obama, so even though the President isnt a communist the racists here use the term among others to heighten the emotion of hate that they are trying to project of the President ..
The damage was done long before Obama became President and under Bush, it’s childish and pointless to name call and throw baseless and unspecific generalized attacks at people. It’s time to solve these problems, and what Bush tried won’t work.
I have to point out that his earned title is President/Mr. President, he deserves it and should not be called any else?
