PETA Versus the US Marines
At this point it won’t be easy for the militant morons of PETA to delve any deeper into self-parody. Maybe if they take on the US Marines:
A peaceful protest outside the main gate of Camp Pendleton has erupted into violence today as Marines and activists continue to spar over military terminology.
The protestors, from People For The Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) have been holding a protest near the base for over a week against the use of the terms “Leatherneck” and “Wooly-Pully.”
PETA spokesman have deemed the terms offensive and say they “promote animal abuse.”
The situation soon got ugly:
PFC Anthony Smith, a Marine Private currently attending the School of Infantry, reported that he was attacked while attempting to leave base. His t-shirt, which had “Leatherneck” written across the front, became a walking bullseye.
Luckily he was able to avoid the red paint they attempted to cover his neck with, saying that he employed “a little move, block, strike, and a little improvise, adapt, and overcome. Oh three hundred, Ooh-rah!”
But it wasn’t just the Marines being attacked.
PETA militants also have said that Marines were throwing hard boiled eggs and hot dog water at them. Some even claim to have been beaten with long pieces of meat byproduct.
PETA protesters turned to what they called their only defense. Using out-of-tune acoustic guitars, the crowd sang songs of animal triumph over human oppression.
Hey wait a minute, this can’t be on the level…
Peace talks have started, with top Marine brass explaining that leather hasn’t been used around the neck of a Marines uniform since long before PETA existed. Former CENTCOM Commander General James Mattis also joined in the discussion, saying that the protestors “should just go f*** themselves.”
They had me going for a minute. But these days no general would stand up to a Muslim or a moonbat.
Think of the Duffel Blog as the Onion for the military.
I can’t wait to see the casualty list as these PETA clowns attack Marines. ha ha ha ha. Go get ‘em Marines!

How come PETA throws paint on old women and Marines (Who are ordered to behave.) but never on Hell’s Angels?

So why don’t they get an infantry platoon in formation, fix bayonets and open the gate? Sounds like defending the base from a terrorist group to me.
The Duffel Blog is a satire site that caters to the military. Do you really believe the media wouldn’t have made this a front page story if it actually happened?
I am seriously disappointed in this iste for not doing some basic research before publishing such a wild story. We all complain when the mainstream media makes these kind of blunders, so care should be taken to avoid making the same sloppy errors.
Just because it would be the most awesome thing to ever happen does not mean can be repeated without some verification.

LOL…Ranger School, was by far, the hardeest thing I had ever done at that point in my life (age 19), but when I think about the fraternity I voluntarily joined by becoming an army ranger (triple volunteer), I smile with extreme pride! 16 years as a Ranger….WOW!!!
I’m 50 now and still, to this very day, thank the Lord for that most awesome oppotunity and am most proudest of my time there, which gave me, a ghetto kid from the streets of Cleveland (Lil’ Somalia), destined for the penitentiary or the grave by violent death or drug overdose, an opportunity to find out what living as a man is really all about!!!
