I was just sitting here watching prime-time TV in Honolulu, and I keep seeing Barry-approved attack ads on Romney. Barry will carry Hawaii, period. Yet he and his stoopid, stoopid handlers are spending mega-cash for attack ads on the turf he claims as home.

Of course, we already know liberals are insane.

  4. IslandLifer says:

No doubt Jimbo. Where I’m from all those stupid “we are the 99%” signs on the telephone poles keep disappearing. They finally stopped putting them up. Living in liberal land can actually be entertaining at times. Especially when the local politicians come knocking at my door.

    @AC,
I’m not sure if you are just adding posts or you are Pro-Life. If you are Pro-Life I respect your opinion but the Dr. has a point how many of those people on his porch do you think have an adopted black crack baby at home?
If the answer is none then fuck them. I agree wholeheartedly I would rather my taxes went to eliminating the little mistake then to paying to clothe, feed, medical, and incarcerate.

Mary, have you attempted to adopt a child recently? My daughter has and frankly, it is such a difficult process in the US, what with first having to go through the foster parenting process, followed by the risk of that child you have loved and cared for being taken away by a parent changing their mind that it is hardly worth it.

My daughter and son in law adopted a special needs girl from China. It still took over a year and cost over $30,000.

The best thing we, the people, could do to eliminated “unwanted” kids is to announce that single mothers are on their own. They can expect zero help from the Federal Government. See if the prospect of living in mom’s basement doesn’t reduce the rate of single parenthood.

The stoopid “99%” are still camped on S. Beretania near downtown – about 10 tents lining the sidewalk a block from HPD Central. It’s actually a homeless camp that has protest signs which makes them exempt from the laws that rule the REAL 99% of other homeless.

    Pharma May CAUSE Cancer!

You’re not going to like this…

Cancer-busting chemotherapy can cause damage to healthy cells which triggers them to secrete a protein that sustains tumour growth and resistance to further treatment, a study said Sunday.

Researchers in the United States made the “completely unexpected” finding while seeking to explain why cancer cells are so resilient inside the human body when they are easy to kill in the lab

Completely unexpected? So let’s see if I get this — chemotherapy, which is basically a poison and works by killing (you hope) the cancer before it kills you, was never thought to have mutagenic effects?

On what planet are these so-called “medical scientists” living?

So now we have a drug that is allegedly supposed to “treat” the cancer but in fact both promotes cancer growth and appears to confer resistance to further treatment! Isn’t that special?

Oh, and if you thought that was bad, it’s worse — HR.5652, passed in the House a few months ago, contains a provision that prohibits punitive damage awards against pharmaceutical companies for FDA-approved treatments. It also caps non-economic damages.

The medical industry is just as incestuous with Washington DC as are the banks, and none of the political candidates, including unfortunately Gary Johnson as Libertarian nominee for President, has come forward to address any of it.

Even when it can — and in fact might — kill you.

There are many places where “unwanteds” are regularly culled from the herd.
But the eugenics you seem to support have come and gone with the likes of Margaret Sanger and Hitler.
Today’s eugenic movement is all about forcibly equalizing the races (including using the same violent means) but centered on a class struggle .
In Zimbabwe for example, a certain race is targeted for extinction, yet is largely ignored by the left because it is couched in familiar rhetoric that purports to “equalize the classes”.
Oh yes libs, Mugabe’s hell is driven by a class hatred indeed. The animals there have just been trained to recognize the wealth of this enemy by his whiteness.
    Don’t believe me ?
Read it in their own words
    http://static.links.org.au/dossiers/2008-06-26-Zimbabwe-Dossier.pdf
But this impressive base was developed on an
uneven, unequal and racist platform that has only
accentuated with time. The economy has highly
    skewed ownership characteristics. Seventy-five per
cent of manufactured output comes from Harare and
Bulawayo, where sixty per cent of the urban
population is concentrated. Sixty per cent of industrial activity is in foreign hands, whilst about
4000 white farmers (fewer than 0.1 per cent of the
population) control nearly seventy per cent of the
most productive land. With seventy-six per cent of
the population categorised as living below the
official poverty line, Zimbabwe has been ranked
amongst the five most unequal societies in the world

    In the words of Prime
    Minister Huggins:
What we are witnessing here is nothing new, it has
already happened in Europe. We are witnessing the
emergence of a proletariat, and in this country it happens to be black … We shall never be able to do
much with these people until we have established a
    native middle class.
    _______
Yesterday one would have been demonized for not recognizing a superior race
Today, one is equally demonized for attempting to discover just why races are unequal (unless it fits this class struggle narrative)
As so frequently happens, this all can be best explained by a member of an “inferior” race

    Barry will carry Hawaii, period.

As a Native Hawaiian, it breaks my heart to see my people going down the same road of government slavery that the Indians and blacks in this country have traveled. The Democrats have taken a once proud and very family oriented culture and turned it into a cesspool of drugs, poverty, welfare and destruction of the family. Liberalism is truly EVIL.

Democrats are oversampled in many/most polls. The intent is to get conservatives to stay home on election day. Plus, telling a pollster that you still support Obama makes you seem like you aren’t a racist. When it comes to actually pulling the lever again, it is another thing altogether.

    Obama is going down.

  22. Ghost of FA Hayek says:

    Louie and Sam
These “polls” are all part of a larger strategy
See, it’s in the best interest of the politicians on both sides to create the appearance of a horserace.
But the problem is rank and file Democrats are realizing that destiny has drawn up a repeat of 2010 for them.
    This has impacted fundraising.
    http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2012-06-26/democrats-may-drop-speedway-event-at-charlotte-convention.html
So this “landslide” strategy is a desperate effort to gin up the base again.
It probably will have the desired effect( to what degree remains to be seen) of getting the money flowing again, to which the polls will again tighten.
