Hardly:
Obama has displayed his preposterously bloated ego by attempting to compare himself to Lincoln. To put it mildly, the comparison is not apt.
“Always bear in mind that your own resolution to succeed is more important than any one thing.”
“[I]f you’ve been successful, you didn’t get there on your own. … If you’ve got a business — you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen.”
If people get the leadership they deserve, we urgently need to redeem ourselves.

Actually, Lincoln freed no slaves. They were freed by the 13th Amendment after our greatly overrated 16th president was dead. The Emancipation Proclamation did not free a single slave.
