Social Security Bureaucrats Stock Up on Ammo

One day soon, after the Ponzi scheme has collapsed, desperate and enraged citizens will show up at Social Security offices demanding the checks that Big Government seduced them into becoming reliant upon. No worries; the bureaucrats will be prepared. Like the conspicuously useless Department of Homeland Security and even the National Weather Service, they are stocking up on ammo:

A solicitation posted by the SSA on the FedBizOpps website asks for contractors to supply 174,000 rounds of “.357 Sig 125 grain bonded jacketed hollow point pistol ammunition.”

.357 hollow point is a powerful and particularly lethal round that expands within the body so as to cause maximum damage. It has a single purpose: to kill people, in this case American citizens.

The synopsis to the solicitation adds that the ammunition is to be shipped to 41 locations within 60 days of purchase. A separate spreadsheet lists those locations, which include the Social Security headquarters in Baltimore, Maryland as well as major cities across the country including Los Angeles, Detroit, Oklahoma City, Dallas, Houston, Atlanta, Denver, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh and Seattle.

Maybe this was another “clerical error.” Or maybe our rulers can see from their high mounts atop our backs that the collapse their spending has made inevitable is coming upon us quickly.

Obviously, this govt. is preparing for the day when, they believe, the American sheeple will finally wake-up and realize how they’re being abused and lied to, and take back their country. Of course, someone has to first tell most of the sheeple that this country is no longer theirs. Perhaps they’ll get it when they see it on twitter or utube.

Isnt there a “flag” system for large ammo purchases?
    Get some of your own.

So, all together we have the IRS, the National Weather Service, the DHS, and now the SS Office all stocking up on weaponry.

Is this where Obama’s National Civilian Security Force will be derived from?

  • AC

I’ve noticed one common theme in all these ammo purchases: it’s all hollow point.

They’ll say it’s for training, but think about it, who trains with 100% hollow point? Wasters who aren’t picking up their own ammo bill.

The Feds are content to continue wasting our money on HP ammo when they could train with FMJ for probably a third of the cost.

  • dan

I’ll vouch for the .357 hollow point as being a critter stopper…my preferred round for dispatching wounded/
captured/dangerous beasties…and I have plenty of other choices.

  • chuck in st paul

I’m not a conspiracy kind of guy, but this defies explanation. WTF is Social Security doing with bullets in the first place? and NOAA?? What, they’ve got to shoot their way into weather station sites now?

The government needs to stock up with ammo. After all, yesterday a gay activist took a shot at a guard at the family research council:

    http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-201_162-57493780/cops-lgbt-volunteer-shoots-conservative-groups-guard/

David Mariner is executive director of The DC Center for the LGBT Community. He says Corkins had been volunteering at the center for about the past 6 months. Mariner describes Corkins as “kind, gentle and unassuming.”

While police have not yet stated what motivated Corkins, a coalition of 25 gay rights groups released a statement through GLAAD condemning the shooting.

“The motivation and circumstances behind today’s tragedy are still unknown, but regardless of what emerges as the reason for this shooting, we utterly reject and condemn such violence. We wish for a swift and complete recovery for the victim of this terrible incident,” the statement read.

What motivated Floyd Corkins II to shoot the guard? Liberal hate speech.

    Duh!!!

Dr. 9, I have to disagree; this is not in preparation for when Americans wake up to the criminals entrenched in our government. This is in preparation for the coming collapse and the inevitable rioting from the moochers and looters of America’s dependency class. Can’t have unionized Gubmint employees getting massacred by rioting leeches.

  • F.D.R. in Hell

In 1935, we knew damn well that the Social Security Act (and the FICA tax to pay for it) was NOT a “temporary” measure when Lewis and Doughton submitted it to the House.

I knew some day, when the checks stopped flowing, the folks would rise up in protest. That time is near at hand. Thus, the ammo.

  • Richard

    Don’t try this at home.

  • WhereIsOurPinochet

It’s cheaper than paying out, so I’m all for it. Let the geezer leechers eat each other.

“But I paid in for years…”

Yeah, and due to the way the system is structured, the money is gone. It’s already been spent. Welcome to the Screwed By The Zionist NWO Banker Club, pull up a chair and enjoy your New Deal.

Hollow points were not designed to be “more lethal,” but to prevent penetration. As weird as it sounds, hollow point is a safety feature. However, since the expanding hollow point delivers all the energy to the target rather than wasting it in pass-through, the combination of hollow point and .357 is especially devastating. (Glaser safety slugs are even more effective at splattering a target.)

Using hollow point for target training is either extravagant waste of money, or a BS coverup.

  • AC

Glasers suck. The penetration is insufficient to even come close to meeting FBI testing protocol. They function even worse when the threat is wearing heavy clothing or the shot has to be made at an angle or through a limb.

Use Gold Dot, Hornady FTX (Critical Defense), or Federal HST.

  • Geeknerd

Don’t discount paper pushing accountants with guns. Just look at Himmler.

  • Mr Evilwrench

.357Sig is not the same as a .357 magnum, by a long shot. It’s pretty badass for an auto, but make sure you’re comparing apples to apples. The hollowpoints of yore may not have been intended to be more deadly, but a lot of the ones you see these days most certainly are. That’s why I carry 41 .45ACP Gold Dots. They hurt more.

  • AC

True. If you want to compete with .357 magnum energy levels in an auto, you’ll need 10mm or a 45 super conversion.

What is your carry .45 and have you ever considered converting it?

  • Gunny G

I’ll stack my scoped 30.06 against their puny SIGs ANY DAY!

I’ll even stack my XD .45 against their puny SIGs any day!

Moreover, even if only 1% of legit gun owners rise up, that is 1,000,000 of us verses them.

  • Winston Smith

It is called Social SECURITY. When they finally run out of money when you go to begin collecting benefits they will escort you to a room where you will get one of those hollow points in the head, then its off to the National Healthcare Office for have usuable organs and blood extracted for reuse then finally its off to the Soylent Waste Disposal/Food Factory outside the city.

  • Max

We’ve stocked up, too, so bring it on.

  • Mr Evilwrench

Old Para P12, probably no such thing as a conversion for it. It’s good the way it is :) and deep in ammo. There is, or was, a Coonan .357 magnum that was very 1911ish.

Q: Why Do Weather Forecasters Need 46,000 Rounds of High Powered Hollow Point Ammo?
A: To eliminate the most vocal of the non-believers in the GloBULL Warming Hoax.

Q: Why Did the Social Security Administration Purchase 174 Thousand Rounds Of Hollow Point Bullets?
A: To eliminate seniors demanding their SS checks after OBOZO drives the US into total bankruptcy.

Q: Why did Homeland Security purchased 450 million rounds of .40-caliber hollow point bullets that are designed to expand upon entry and cause maximum organ damage and then issue another DHS solicitation asking for a further 750 million rounds of assorted bullets, including 357 mag rounds that are able to penetrate walls?
A: There will be a lot of Americans upset if OBOZO steals the election in November and assumes full dictatorial power; they must be silenced.

  • KHarn

They created the beast, now it’s coming to eat THEM and they are scared!

  • Kanaka Girl

Guess they better start arming the folks in the welfare and food stamp offices too. Those recipients are going to go ape s#it when their EBT cards stop working.

  • Scotty G.

Interesting the Government can’t use hollowpoints to shoot an enemy in a war zone, but they are just fine to kill your own citizens with.

  • Jimbo

That’s good to know. I put the local SS office on my list of potential ammunition “suppliers” when things go south.
