Feds Push to Make Higher Percentage of Americans Dependent

According to the federal government, only 15% of Americans turn to it for help during the hard times it creates. Clearly this means Big Government’s work is not done:

More Americans rely on their families for assistance than the government, so federal officials have undertaken an effort to help people to apply for federal assistance.

“Given that only 15 percent of you turn to government assistance in tough times, we want to make sure you know about benefits that could help you,” USA.gov announced today. The ”government made easy’ website has created a “help for difficult financial times” page for people to learn more about the programs.

The site conveniently makes it much easier to help yourself to other people’s money than it is to find a job with Obama’s boot on the neck of the private sector.

Only in the world of bureaucrats could the 15% figure pass the laugh test, when Obama has that many on food stamps alone, and federal programs to redistribute wealth are beyond number. Once again we see that math is not our socialist rulers’ forte.

I haven’t had full-time work since O’Bama was elected. Until the government gets its boot off the neck of business, I’m unlikely to get a job. So, my only recourse is the welfare teet.

But the joke’s on the Left! I’ll take their handouts, but I’ll still vote Conservative Republican/Jeffersonian Liberal.

Bribe me to vote Democrate? Sure, I’ll take the bribe, and vote the way I should. Nyah Nyah Nyah

if you make one group work and give to others without ability to receive itself…. isn’t that the definition of SLAVERY?

    Lets see…

people designated by the state (black people) work for persons who get their money (the volk)…
they supposedly will not take all of it but will leave them some minimum to live on.
No matter what, they can’t get the benefits from their own labors which are promised to others (the volk).

Sounds like slavery in pre civil war us… no?

Ok… people designated by the state (white men) work for persons who get their money (the volk)…
they supposedly will not take all of it but will leave them some minimum to live on.
No matter what, they can’t get the benefits from their own labors which are promised to others (the volk).

That sure is the same thing.. eh?

FACT: the lunatic-left d-cRAT socialists WANT the unemployed (which their FAILED POLICIES HELPED CREATE) and ALL OTHER American citizens fully and completely dependent on BIG GOVERNMENT handouts through “wealth and income re-distribution” in order for them to stay in power. PROOF: Look how well that approach has worked out for the d-cRAT socialists with blacks, hispanics, American Indians, and various other groups who are now nearly 100% dependent on the BIG GOVERNMENT NANNY STATE for their entire existence – and they are solidly, mindlessly supporting d-cRAT socialism.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but the left is STILL laughing.
That’s the beauty of spending someone else’s money.
And they will still run around feeling oh so self righteous and generous
The “joke” will always be on those who are actually forced to pay
(at least till the money runs out)
So as you collect, you are in reality UNDERMINING their opportunity to invest and provide you a job.
Please don’t misunderstand me though, I really do feel your pain.
You know, before 2008, I remember loads of people who lost their jobs, only to find BETTER, higher paying ones later
    (creative destruction)
They still despised Bush for it.
Now they are loosing those better jobs, but are quiet
    Go figure

Here’s an example of how the welfare system is sick:

In 2010 I was in very serious economic straits. I couldn’t find a job and was literally walking the streets going from one place to another asking if any work was available. I was qualified for food stamps but wanted to preserve my dignity as much as possible and decided to start selling some of my belongings rather than go on welfare.

During this time I applied for a lot of jobs online that would ask you if you were receiving federal assistance, and if so, *you got preferential treatment*! Because I wanted to preserve my dignity and not be a burden on the taxpayer, and because I decided to sell my belongings rather than take welfare, I WAS SENT TO THE BACK OF THE LINE.

What? 100 million Americans on some form of federal assistance, not including social security and medicare, and that’s not enough?

And that’s not 15%, you apple polishing clowns. That’s only the people on food stamps. 100 million is closer to 30% who can’t get through the week without a check from the federal government.
