Politics in the Bronx is totally controlled by three hispanic families, and all three being totally corrupt. Most are under indictment or already in prison, but simply hand their positions down to other corrupt family members.
So how do they keep getting re-elected? They get re-elected by the illegal hispanics of the Bronx who want to make sure their endless stream of free govt. goodies keeps flowing.

The democrats have been very successful at doing one thing…balkanizing our country and turning every citizen away from being an individual sovereign American into a hyphenated and labeled group that has surrendered their American identity for a group identity that places “American” last if even at all.
I watched Yugoslavia go down the tubes in much the same way the democrats are operating here.

Being surrounded by Democrats, liberals, and Leftists, and dealing with them on a daily basis, I’ve noticed that lefties (like this imbecilic woman) actually think that they are out to save the country, and conservatives are out to destroy it. The very same things that conservatives think liberals will destroy, liberals think conservatives will destroy. Liberals think conservatives will destroy freedom and liberty; conservatives think liberals will destroy freedom and liberty. Liberals think conservatives will ruin the country economically; conservatives think liberals will ruin the country economically. Liberals think conservatives are hateful and evil rubes; conservatives think liberals are angry and vile elitists. Both make claims to upholding the Constitution while accusing the other of trying to destroy it. Both make claims to upholding the rule of law while accusing the other of trying to thwart it. Both make claims to be acting as Christians while accusing the other of acting against Christianity. On and on it goes.
Proving the destructive falseness of Leftism will be possible only when it is allowed to fully play itself out, and then the results can be tabulated, and then the falsehood can be purged. You’re wrong, “liberals” HATE the Constitution and have denounced it many times because it says the government can’t do certain things and alows too much freedom to “the mnasses”. “Liberals” obey laws when they aid their cause and have openly said they only follow laws that they “like”. Liberals denounce religion EXCEPT for islam, which they fear.

I believe that if Obama and the media should happen to pull this one off again, the very fabric that makes up the Democrapt party will rip itself to shreds.
Remember that they are made up of nothing more than collections of special interest groups.
These groups will be competing for shrinking amounts of resources and favoritism to one group will start to run up against the interests of the others
Add this to what Caddell and Schoen (if I recall) said about Obama’s scorched earth campaign making the nation ungovernable, and we have the makings of a train wreck on the horizon.
KHarn, you’re talking about pure Leftists, and I agree. But they are a small percentage of Obama supporters. The majority of liberals truly believe they have America’s best interest in mind, and conservatives don’t. They are wrong, of course, but that’s what they believe.
Generally, there are three types of “liberals” whom the Democratic Party targets. The relatively small but growing base of pure Leftists who are anti-American, anti-religion, globalists, academic elitists, etc. The majority of liberals who think the Democratic party actually stands for the working man, the poor, the oppressed, for fairness, equality, tolerance, peace, liberty, etc. And a large percentage of liberals who buy the b.s. because they are gullible and stupid. Even in my ultra-lib hometown, the vast majority of liberal Obama supporters truly believe that he and the Dems will save America from the backward conservatives. They think that they are standing on Christian principles and saving the Constitution. They are the dangerous ones, because they are the majority of the party without whom the Democratic agenda folds. They are being fooled by the pure Leftists who know full-well where they want things to go. They are the useful idiots that Leftism relies on to move “forward.” I was referring to those foolish liberals, the majority who sustain the Democratic Party, in my previous comment.
By investigating, they mean that Eric Holder had her over for dinner and asked if any of her family members needed no-show patronage jobs.
