  1. Cluebat from Exodar says:

One of the things that I remember most vividly is the palestinians dancing in the streets and passing out candy.

    Video which was quickly embargoed.

  2. Cluebat from Exodar says:

Also- here is a funny/sad story of an archeologist jumping on the global warming gravy train. Funny in a tinfoil hat, finger pointing way but sad at the same time.

    The link is from archeology.org.

    Sickening.

    Money quote:
“It’s preserved by permafrost, and the permafrost is melting due to climate change.”

  3. Spider says:

The sad truth is, it will take a lot more than one 9/11 to make America, the American people wake up. The fact that we allowed millions of Muslims into the US (after) 9/11 proves it.

  4. 88miker says:

Naw guys, it was the government! Fire can’t melt steel! Where’s the rest of the plane that crashed in Pennsylvania? OIL! BUSH!

  5. TrickleUpPolitics says:

Today is my 61st birthday. I turned 50 the day the towers went down. It was a horrible, horrible day that I will never forget.

  6. StanInTexas says:

    Happy Birthday TUP.

Know that you share your birthday with one of my best friends, as well as two of the greatest football coaches of all time… Coach Tom Landrey and Paul “Bear” Bryant.

  7. TrickleUpPolitics says:

By the way, I read an article yesterday that says an Israeli scientist has announced that Obama’s birth certificate is a forgery.

  8. Henry says:

    I will never forget.

The woman’s sobbing always rattles me…

  9. Drury says:

Let us not only remember our countrymen who were slaughtered by islamofascists 11 years ago; but also remember the fallen military men and women who have served America’s Armed Forces in an effort to prevent a repeat of it.

God Bless all those who have died in this war against islamofascism.

    THAT!

  11. The MaryHunter says:

Nearly every 9/11 morning since the attack, it’s been the same beautiful sunny clear weather as it was in 2001. Before 6 am I go get the paper and I can see Orion up in the southern sky, just over our house – just as I did that fateful morn.

God bless the lost and their families. God bless the USA. We will never forget.

  12. Jodie says:

It’s very hard not to feel hopeless today. These 9/11 remembrance events are so disappointing. There is no mention of who brought down the towers or that they are still constantly working at destroying us.

There is the usual blaming of Bush and “moments of silence” – it just seems like a farce this year. The most disgusting thing is that they have been saying that there aren’t going to be politicians at these gatherings, yet I keep seeing Obama and Biden popping up everywhere.

  13. TrickleUpPolitics says:

NBC skipped the moment of silence to interview Kim Kardashian’s mother about her new reality show and her breast implants.

  14. Geeknerd says:

Islam — does NOT play well with others. Just ask the Buddhists in India. Oh, right, there are no Buddhists in Buddhism’s country of origin, because the Muslims slaughtered them all trying to exterminate or convert all the non-dhimmi heathens in India. Centuries before the Crusades, I might add.

  15. wingmann says:

I WILL NEVER FORGET WHAT THOSE COWARDS DID!

  16. Louie says:

    Go to google.com

    Then go to bing.com

Then ask yourself, “Why the difference?”

Then ask yourself whether anything Google-affiliated can be trusted.

Then resolve to determine exactly the scope of Google’s involvement in your life. You will be amazed; Google has its tendrils into a great many things upon which we’ve all come to rely.

Then ask yourself (of find out) how long this has been so.

Then ask yourself what all of this means to you. And to your family. And to our country.

  17. Louie says:

Of course, the above google.com and bing.com references apply today only, 9/11.

Look also at other similar sites, all of which are likely to be more American-valued than Google.

Cluebat from Exodar & Louie: Seeing the Americans do the same thing when Osama bin Laden was killed without trial, was the moment I lost all respect for the United States of America. If ya’ll not better that a bunch of idiots dancing on the streets, you should think about what kind of people you are.

My respects to the victims and relatives and loved ones of those victims of that day – especially with those who had to put up with the right-wing media since then.

  19. M.Wilson says:

Because 3,000 innocent civilians are obviously equal to one mass murdering psychopath. (/sarc, for the oblivious)

At least be honest and admit that you never had any respect for the USA to lose, because you’ve been too busy pining for the USSR.

If you care more about Bin Laden than the people he killed, you should think about what kind of person you are.

We must remember all who have fallen and, just as importantly, why they died. We must become vigilant, such that these dead will not have died in vain. Tolerance, falsely lauded so often now as the ultimate in virtue, must be put aside, as any people that tolerates its own destruction will not long endure. With decisive action and iron resolve we can usher in peace once again. The only peace that can truly be relied upon.

    Peace Through Strength.

  20. anothercommie says:

I knew this was coming, no I have no admiration for bin Laden, he’s just as bad as Hitler, Stalin, Mao and Pol Pot. But NOBODY should be just killed when suspected of a crime, there ALWAYS HAS TO BE A TRIAL. This system of trial, of law & order called a state of law is vital to our Western way of living and when it is abandoned dictatorship is around the cornor. That’s why I lost my respect, because awhole nation was BEHAVING LIKE BARBARIANS. While telling the world that their system will exactly not do that.
This has nothing to do with tolerance but with a a funtioning Rechtsstaat (equality before the law, same rights, fair process), one of the reason and ideals that caused the 13 colonies to rebell.

And I agree we have to fight Islamic terrorism, that’s one of the reasons I have supported the War in Afghanistan from it’s start, and believe me over here in Germany that isn’t a popular position — especially not in our illogically pacificist left. But if we become the enemy while doing it, what are we fighting for?

BTW: Im the left-libertarian kind of communist. If you know something about the History of socialism, you might know that us left-libertarians and Soviet communists hate and have hated each others guts for over 160 years.
