Given the way Democrats have openly embraced the term slut, to the point of even having the absurd Sandra Fluke speak at the DNC, you would expect this year’s SlutWalk to be an event to remember. But as Zombie documents, it was relatively restrained — by San Franfreakshow standards. However, it did provide a few specimens for moonbattologists to study:

This is an event to outline a seething hatred of men from young stupid women and lesbians. They are directing the protest towards everyday men who would never think of raping a woman. The ironic part is an acual rapist would not be deterred by this protest. I would also bet these women think that only men are capable of rape.

SlutWalk started as a protest against the Slut Defense (“She dressed slutty, so obviously she wanted to get raped”) when charged with rape or sexual harassment — I’m going to assume that you people didn’t know that, and therefor aren’t defending those who use this defense.
Slut is very much owned by these people now, the same way gay was owned by the lgbt community. When they call themselves sluts they (as much as I) do not see this as a derogatory term for a women that acts against social norms, but as a modern woman who is pro-sexuality and likes sex and doesn’t want to be treated any differently because of it. In no way does that mean they’ll have sex with any men, just that they don’t feel guilt if they do. Now I understand that most of you were told and belief that sex and lust is a sin, but please understand that they aren’t calling themselves worth less than anybody else, even if the term might have that conotation to you.
Now they walk for womens rights and lgbt rights, which according to the constitution is their right. And if a man agrees (I do), I’d consider him participating to actually make him a real man, for having the balls to speak out. We have no idea why he is there and the newspaper headline “SUPPORT OUR TEACHERS – DEFEND OUR SCHOOLS” isn’t really telling us anything. Maybe the girl next to him is his girlfriend, his sister or his cousin and he just doesn’t want her to get raped because “she looked like she wanted it” — I’m going ahead and assume that any of you don’t want your wives/sisters/mothers/cousins to get raped in the first place — maybe he is a radical feminist who believes the world would be a better place without men (which is crazy), we don’t know. So when you say he isn’t a real man for participating in this protest I don’t know what you mean. Should he beat or rape them to teach them were a woman’s place is? Is he a traitor to all other man? Or is he not a real man only because he supports progressive causes? I don’t know what you people mean and it scares me to think it might be option No. 1.

70Stage1: I have no idea why a woman would grow a beard or glue one on her face and you are right, I doubt a lot of straight men will go for that, but someone might and as social libertarian, I couldn’t care less.
Taste in women is subjective, I like the ones that don’t care how they look (or at least not stand in front of the mirror putting on make-up wasting half their lifes), are intelligent and slightly geeky. You’re type might be something else, the complete opposite or linked to your political views. In my mind both are legit, and driven by genes and evolution and as long as persons taste in women isn’t young girls, I don’t care either.

The slut defense is a product of defense lawyers who will say and do anything to help their client beat the charges. It is predicated on the irresistible impulse theory of diminished capacity.
It also doesn’t work, but that is of no concern to a defense lawyer who is ethically obligated to present the best defense he can, even if the defendant is guilty as sin, and nothing the lawyer can say or do would raise doubts about the defendant’s guilt or the defendant’s legal culpability for the crime.
You seem to be operating under the mistaken impression that the slut defense is a product of traditional meat and potatoes American men who want to get laid.
If this group of idiots has reclaimed the world slut then perhaps I will start referring to them as tramps. I have more respect for hookers and strippers than these idiots. At least sex workers don’t have a burning stereotyped hatred of the opposite gender.

This whole thing started after Rush Limbaugh called Sandra Fluke a slut. Sandra Fluke was called a slut because she was out there whining about having to pay for her own birth control and lobbying for government subsidized birth control and abortions.

AC: Actually the slut defence has popped up all over the world, in every religion and every country for thousands of years. So, no, by no means am I saying it’s an American thing, but it is a male thing. Coming from a fear of female sexuality. The purpotated whining for government subsidation of sexual activities is BS from start to finish. With the pill, the amount (is that correct English?) of sex is irrelevant you have to take one a day, no matter if you have sex every day or or only once a year with your husband. This isn’t condoms, you don’t need one every time. (I’m sorry you probably know that already) Abortions aren’t mentioned at all.
The slut defense has nothing to do with a “fear” of female sexuality. The defense as it exists in Western legal systems (as well as precursors to it under older systems) are based in the theory of an offender succumbing to an irresistible impulse, much like an assault committed by a bipolar offender off his meds.
I have never seen any reaction to sexuality which could be considered “fear.” Some people are open, some people find overt sexuality (by either gender or any orientation) to be out of line for public display. Nobody cowers in the corner crying when there is a bit of cleavage on display.
Fluke’s argument is based on a sloppy grasp of facts. OCPs are available for $9/month without insurance. Anyone who can’t come up with $9/month either has extremely screwed up priorities, or should instead be spending their allowance on toys.
By the way, I’m not completely averse to the idea that perhaps taxpayers should pick up the tab for $9/month OCPs. While it isn’t the duty of those who work to pay for the unnecessary recreational activities of those who don’t, in the long run, more free contraceptives mean fewer stampers sucking the budget dry at an even faster rate. This line of thinking isn’t directed at people like Fluke; it is directed at those who would rather spend that $9 on another bag of crack, go unprotected, and pump out another Democrat in nine months.
What taxpayer shouldn’t be doing is paying for the on-patent stuff advertised on TV. They also bear no responsibility to people like Fluke who can afford contraceptives in their entertainment budget but would prefer to spend their money elsewhere while somebody picks up the tab.
Some patients receive OCPs for issues unrelated to fertility, but they are the exception to the rule. Most women who use the pill do so to allow bedroom fun with their boyfriend, and their fun isn’t something taxpayers should be paying for in any group but the most reckless and indigent.
