ObamaCare Summed Up in One Sentence

It’s a long sentence, but at 2,700 pages, it’s a long bill:

On tips from Shawn, TrickleUpPolitics, Incitatus, and Sam Adams.

I understand that the medical industry was instrumental in passing that beast.

And the Comrade doesn’t just smoke, he chain-smokes, on our dime, too.

I wonder how long it will be before Kathleen Subsleeziness(sp?) announces that circumcisions will no longer be allowed under ObamaCare. I expect it to happen, because circumcision represents an everlasting covenant between God and the Jewish people and as part of the covenant, He requires every Jewish male to be circumcised. The libs are attacking circumcision on many fronts.

I KNOW it won’t happen, but if Romney does not repeat this, over and over and over, during his speeches, he is a fool…

    __________

Some parts of the “industry,” yes; others, no. You will note that those folks who make medical equipment from pacemakers to crutches to insulin pumps now are being assessed a new tax through ObamaCare. That’s what happens to industries that don’t go along.

Of course circumcision won’t be covered (unless it is female circumcision required under Sharia law). There isn’t enough money to pay for circumcision and sex change operations. Difficult decisions will have to be made /sarc.

The American Medical Association (which only represents about 20% of practicing physicians in the United States, by the way) endorsed Obamacare ONLY when forced into it. The AMA controls the coding language used to submit medical bills and claims to insurance companies, and the Obama administration threatened to come up with their own coding system, bypassing AMA’s main source of income and therefore probably bankrupting an organization which ceased to represent the majority of us practicing physicians decades ago. AMA became a whore to government, and it is run by the worst lefties in the profession. Nobody in my practice group belongs to AMA, and we all joined AAPS, an organization for conservative physicians. AMA has absolutely no relevance to most physicians outside of the fact that we have to pay a lot of money for access to that damned medical coding.

I don’t know any colleague who is enthusiastic about it. We are going toward single-payer (read government, socialized medicine), if Obama will be reelected….

I used the word Subsleeziness at least a half dozen times this week – spelled it just like that!

FYI – I’m a remodeling contractor and cabinetmaker and was at the family home of the Cantor for the largest synagogue in one of America’s biggest cities.

I was solving a plumbing problem and was on my back on the floor of his bathroom with my head under the sink. My business card has a Christian fish on it and as a result he began asking me questions about my faith while I was working.

I try to keep the conversation centered on all the beliefs we have in common, for instance our shared respect for the Old Testament. During our discussion I brought up the Ten Commandments.

To my surprise he said, “Golly, I wish I could remember all of them. I always have trouble remembering every one.”

For the next ten minutes or so I taught him the Ten Commandments in a manner he could never forget. He walked around the house repeating them over and over again, he was so proud of himself.

He wondered how I, as a Christian, knew so much about the Old Testament. I told him it was foundational to the Christian belief in Jesus as the Messiah.

I also told him that most Christians are circumcised.

He was astonished. He could hardly believe what I was saying. He thought no Christians were circumcised.

He thankfully took my word for it without me having to prove it.

If Subsleeziness (7 times) attempts to cut (?) a new policy she’s going to P.O. a lot of the Christian faith as well as the Jews.

    But what’s new?

    AlphaMail,

    Wow! That is supernatural!

We are very like-minded. In fact, I have noticed that some of your comments are in answer to my prayers. When I’m not sure what to say or I’m too tired to write a comment, I pray that someone else will. I pray for very specific things and words and several times I could tell that your great comments were the direct result of those prayers.

    God is awesome!
