The syntax of the latter part of that statement is confusing, but I’m pretty sure commie is trying to make a claim of equivalency between Islam and Chritianity, which is absolutely absurd.
Islam is an economic-political system that portrays itself as serving Allah in their lust for blood, power, money, land, sex and supremacy above all others. All the horrors perpetrated by “radical” Muslims are precisely commanded in their holy books. Every severed head, every rape, every act of wife beating, every burned church, every tortured Christian or Hindu is an act of devotion to their moon god, Allah, known in the western world as Lucifer.
Although Christians have at times behaved badly, even murderously toward others, when doing so they acted in contradiction to what Jesus commanded. And only a willingly ignorant fool would deny the charity, peace and happiness that Christian values brought to the world.
Every western country, even Israel, has Muslims living among their populations. How many Christians and Jews live in Muslim lands? Answer: damn few, and only as second-class citizens or dhimmis.

The commie’s whole premise goes out the window when you know that God gave man free will. Man was very untamed and violent in the beginning. That’s why God made rules and laws and taught man what he needed to know. And it worked out pretty well.
After a few thousand years, a group of Christians established themselves on this land and we ended up with a the greatest nation on earth, full of hardworking people, who have been responsible for most of the important inventions and progress in the world. When Christians are allowed the freedom to follow and obey God, things turn out well the way they should. When that is not the case, we end up with evil and destruction – like in the Arab world.

Well, you are right, I am of German nationality and citizenship. Although, I consider myself not German but European (as many more do here). And I do not hate European culture, in fact I love. I love how religiousity is steadily sinking and religious leaders have given up on speaking their minds. I love our ever more socially liberal approach to problems, which we have highly deserved after freeing ourselves from the chains of Christianity and Islam. I love the openness and friendliness of almost everybody here. I believe the form Christianity has taken here – Christian humanism – to be a good one, almost beneficial to society and I hope for my Muslim brothers to develope the speculated European Islam, the secular version. And even though our history is one of bloodshed I fight for that never to happen again, that my beautiful nation, the birthplace of democracy, human rights and the state of law, my never see blood again. I love that we don’t kill people by acts of vengance carried through our legal systems. Do I hate my country? No, I would die for it without as much as a thought.

You are right, according to Christian teachings, God gave men free will. Which isn’t my point, my point is that ANY religion – just as extreme political views – can be used to justify horrific crimes. Take the quotes to slavery for example, no Christian can execute these and be considered a good person today, because the very idea of slavery is disgusting to us – and that with very good reason. I don’t want any of you to deconvert from your beliefs – that isn’t needed – just to ackowledge that every religion can be abused. And Christianity as much Islam, Judaism, Hinduism and so on.
As a statistical question: the Czeck Republic is one of those countries with a very small theist community – 19% with 50% being deists or agnostics and 30% being atheists. Why doesn’t the Czeck Republic go up in flames? Another example would be Turkey, which 99.7% Muslims and with the exception of the Kurdish rebellion and terrorism (of which Spain, Italy, Great Britain and Germany also had it’s share) is a very peacefull country. It is extremely secular, and it’s crime rates are lower than in some Western European countries. Christians are very small minority in the country, so why don’t the kill each other in the street?
To me it doesn’t matter whether you accept God or not, or Jesus, or Mohammed, or Buddha – the only thing that matters is if follow the commandments of common sense – 9 out of 10 commandments are just that, common sense. If anybody needs a God to justify that murder or adultery is wrong, I can’t do much more than to question that persons morality and common sense.

As far as you quoting the Bible, you should be informed the word “Christian” doesn’t appear in the Old Testament – a series of Books which contain poignant prophecy, and exquisitely valuable historical and moral baselines – including some stupid rules of the day.
With Christ, Christians now live by the Spirit, and the issues you refer to such as slavery are impossible and laughable to Christians.
And your mention of the Founding Fathers bespeaks a woeful ignorance.
