Eric Holder, ‘Hate Crimes,’ and ‘His People’, American Thinker

Why isn’t racial mob violence categorized as “hate”?

A group of those whom Eric Holder described as “his people,” at least six young men, repeatedly punched a 24-year-old white woman in the face, then proceeded to kick her face over and over when she was on the ground helpless. This occurred in Buffalo, New York last week, but the event has received no attention by the mainstream media because the victim was white and the attackers were black. This was no friendly urban jostling: the woman was left with a broken nose and cracked bones in her face.

There must have been a little bit of hate in at least one of those kicks to the face, but you can bet it…

Yeah, saw/posted that one some time back.

Despite that, climate alarmists are STILL claiming that we’re freakin’ doomed due to human induced global warming.

Here’s the deal – it looks, to me at least, like the amount of ice remains somewhat constant overall but tends to oscillate somewhat between hemispheres. Further, there is PERHAPS a slight downward trend, consistent with the warming that has been going on FOR THOUSANDS OF YEARS, since the last ice age, SINCE MUCH OF NORTH AMERICA, EUROPE AND ASIA WERE COVERED WITH ICE SHEETS 2 MILES THICK OR MORE over vast areas.

What these idiot liberal moonbats don’t get is that warm is not the enemy. Life thrives when the world warms, when CO2 levels increase from where they are now. We are actually at an extremely low point as far as atmospheric CO2 levels go historically. Too cold, too little CO2 and life struggles.

Warmer, wetter conditions with higher atmospheric CO2 levels mean life thrives!

Now about climate change – it’s normal, natural, inevitable, i.e. UNSTOPPABLE. Trying is a waste of time, effort and resources. What we need to do is UNDERSTAND, ACCEPT and PLAN for it.

Here’s the deal; the only way I side with Obama on even 10% of the issues is if they are lying about Obama’s stance. For example, the maintain that Obama is not in favor of controlling the internet. In claims that Obama is in favor of increased off-shore drilling for oil…snicker…It claims that Obama believes in continuing to support Israel…snicker, snicker….and it claims that Obama hasn’t removed the work requirement for those receiving welfare….LOL.

  23. M.Wilson says:

    A tale of two trains.

Sometimes it’s not the destination, but the journey. Texas and California have both been entertaining plans for high speed passenger trains linking their largest (and most traffic jam prone) cities. In doing so though, they have taken entirely different approaches.

California decided to go with a big top-down approach, building its rails from scratch and setting goals that cannot be met with existing technology. They set aside roughly $9 billion to start with, but cost projections have predicted overall costs ranging from $33 billion to $117 billion. Their own internal estimates have already ballooned to $98.5 billion, and they’ve pushed back their completion date to 2033.

Meanwhile, Texas did several things differently. Besides setting much more realistic goals and starting with a smaller scale pilot project they also cooperated with the freight company Union Pacific to make use of existing lines in exchange for assistance expanding their infrastructure.
The projected cost of Texas’ project, which has been winding its way through red tape since the 90′s, is $1.5 billion. While they haven’t set a final completion date (perhaps a smart move, given how unpredictable these things can be and how silly a 2033 projection looks) they expect to recieve Federal approval to begin construction in 2016. In addition to setting up a site where voters can track the project, they have been cooperating extensively with local governments and businesses to keep costs down and help with planning.

Now I kind of wish there was a preview function to make sure the links work. XD At any rate, what it comes down to is California is approaching its rail plans with the Big Government philosophy, where they know best and they will push the project regardless of popularity or cost. Where as Texas is approaching theirs like a business, cutting deals, keeping costs down, building public confidence. They even hope to profit off the fares and advertising revenues.

I’d rather see something like this completely privatized, but if I had to bet on one of these projects succeeding my money would be on Texas.

    The early voting fraud begins.

Early voting accounted for a record 30 percent of all votes cast in the 2008 election. In Florida, more than half of the votes were cast before Election Day.

More than half of the African-Americans who cast ballots in Florida four years ago – 54 percent – voted early, nearly twice the rate of whites. In five of the state’s 67 counties, at least two-thirds of blacks cast their ballots before Election Day, according to a Reuters analysis of state voter data…

    http://sweetness-light.com/archive/election-day-begins-tomorrow-in-two-states

Here’s a couple of Florida’s absentee voters, for hundreds of persons, Derrick Henry and Genesis Robinson

    http://law.rightpundits.com/?p=2416

As absentee ballots proliferate, so too will opportunities for repeat voting. Absentee ballots make it easier for non-citizens, non-residents, felons, and even dead people to vote. Nursing-home staffers have voted absentee “on behalf of” demented elderly people who believe that JFK occupies the White House.

Physically voting at the polls is a vital exercise in self-government. It also gives election officials a chance to deter or catch cheaters. Voting at home while clad in a towel prevents such scrutiny.

Sadly, America’s increasingly Third World voting system fits the nation’s trajectory. The Land of the Free is mired in the effects of nearly a decade of Washington-led socialism — “compassionate” under the free-spending, entitlement-launching (albeit tax-cutting) Bush-Rove administration and now aggressive under the freer-spending, entitlement-launching, and tax-hiking Obama-Pelosi government. The result? Economic stagnation, mounting debt, a sabotaged currency, class-warfare rhetoric, and growing corruption. (Transparency International this week ranked the U.S.A. as earth’s 22nd-most-honest country, America’s worst showing ever.)

Step one is for the American people to march valiantly to the polls Tuesday and dislodge those who have brought the country to this point. Then, with a new Congress rededicated to limited government, public integrity, accountability, and the rule of law, the American people should demand photo-ID requirements at the polls, serious jail time for vote fraudsters, a rollback in absentee ballots and early voting, and other steps to establish voting norms worthy of the Home of the Brave.

Voter fraud, what voter fraud?, proclaims the Obama media.

A person who blows a .o9bac, with no record of any kind, and no other traffic offenses, will be charged with a felony? Do felons stop working, o1 being subject to the law? No. Them why should they not have a say in the election of people who make laws? Freedom for thee but not for me.

  28. StanInTexas says:

Mike, you have THREE felony convictions? If you have that little self-control with your own life, and you have no ability to follow the rules of society, why should you be allowed to vote?

You deserve a jail cell, not a voting booth!

I was particularly struck by his claim that the economy did not suck before he took office (while campaigning in 2008). That would mean it was not all Bush’s fault, right?
Likewise he blames everything on anything other than him. Economy, congress, etc. And then he makes claims that he never promised his campaign promises would be 100% completed. And this is the record he wants to run on?

Austin Man in Trouble for Lynching Empty Chair

The fold-up chair, with an American flag attached to it, was hung from a tree in front of Bud Johnson’s home and some neighbors complained that it was racist.

Johnson also said he’s not a racist and that he doesn’t dislike any race. In addition, he said the chair was not being “lynched”, and when Pantazes asked why he had it hanging from the tree, he said the tree was “the only place I had to put the damn thing.” Johnson then placed the chair on his lawn a few feet away from the tree.

Officials say a man walking his dog on the streets of San Diego stabbed a pit bull to death after the animal attacked him.

The end result of Moonbattery in CA: Three metropolitan areas in California’s Central Valley, the region with the highest farm revenues in the country, rank among the poorest in the state and nation, Census figures released Thursday show.

Fresno, Modesto and Bakersfield-Delano areas are among the top five U.S. regions with the highest percentage of residents living below the poverty line.
The Fresno area, ranked as the second most impoverished in the nation, trailed only the U.S.-Mexico border area of McAllen-Edinburg-Mission, Texas, the American Community Survey figures show.

    Why?

OH and by the way, after an initial brief skim of the OIG report on Fast and Furious, it appears Obama’s/Holder’s excuse for letting thousands of guns “walk” into the hands of dangerous cartel members was that, during the Bush Administration, about 410 guns “walked”.

The Bush era program was shut down, in part because those involved knew that letting the guns get “lost” was a bad thing and had to stop.

Unless you want to use it as an excuse to gut the Second Amendment, of course. Then you let it keep going, as Obama/Holder did.

Rounding out the top 5 were Baltimore, moonbat central-west Los Angeles and Atlanta.

The next three were Philadelphia, DFW and Miami, followed by Memphis, Houston and Miami and then, of course, San Francisco.

Funny… I’ve been TO each of those cities with the exception of Atlanta – and I only drove THROUGH Baltimore, though come to think of it I do believe I did take a break in one of it’s suburbs, perhaps.
