Rising Antarctic Ice Sets Record
According to the “consensus” of the experts, the polar ice caps were supposed to be pretty much melted by now, with coastal cities soon to disappear beneath the rising seas. Meanwhile, back in reality:
Antarctic sea ice set another record this past week, with the most amount of ice ever recorded on day 256 of the calendar year (September 12 of this leap year). Please, nobody tell the mainstream media or they might have to retract some stories and admit they are misrepresenting scientific data.
Retract their lies? On the contrary, they are doubling down all the more hysterically:
National Public Radio (NPR) published an article on its website last month claiming, “Ten years ago, a piece of ice the size of Rhode Island disintegrated and melted in the waters off Antarctica. Two other massive ice shelves along the Antarctic Peninsula had suffered similar fates a few years before. The events became poster children for the effects of global warming. … There’s no question that unusually warm air triggered the final demise of these huge chunks of ice.”
NPR failed to mention anywhere in its article that Antarctic sea ice has been growing since satellites first began measuring the ice 33 years ago and the sea ice has been above the 33-year average throughout 2012.
NPR is financed largely with money stolen by the government from people who would never pay a penny for its elitist brand of moonbat propaganda.
The lesson to be learned from the global warming crisis: when conspicuously unscrupulous people tell you they will save the planet from destruction if you give them money and power, trust the instinct that tells you they are lying.

On the liberal “Mother Jones” website there is a story about Arctic ice. I posted a bunch of comments as the user, “algoreselectricbill”…lmfao. Here is what I said:

Meanwhile, Antarctic ice has set a new record for the most amount of ice ever recorded. Someone should tell Antarctica that there is gullible warming going on and to get with the program. By the way, I am all for more tyrannical government regulations, and more loss of freedoms if it means that Antarctica’s ice will start melting.
2. The researchers even admit in their FAQ section that the daily satellite images are sometimes not representative of the actual amount of ice that is present, and that the final data has to be corrected for inaccuracies. Well, if the inaccuracies in the daily images are not corrected as they are analyzed, propagation of error occurs. When this happens, the final results are inherently inaccurate.
3. It is important to keep in mind that the research is funded at the project level by national agencies, which could, at any time, cut funding to the research if the project is deemed unproductive. The story was also released with the note, “please note that this is a preliminary announcement”, meaning that the scientists are releasing their admittedly inaccurate findings to remain relevant and to continue receiving funding. That is what is really going on.
4. The equipment the NSIDC has used to gather data has been known to fail and be faulty. People, you have to understand that the data you are seeing has the high potential to be absolutely wrong.
5. One of the biggest reasons that conservatives, such as myself, are so critical of the idea of climate change is that the, seemingly, only way to combat it is by relying on the government for the remedy. That is definitely not the answer. Passing draconian laws is never the answer. If you want to combat climate change then do your part by not contributing to the over-production of greenhouse gases. Buy more fuel efficient cars, and promote the use of nuclear energy over coal. Even if we had a thousand more laws passed to stop climate change there would still be many other countries polluting the atmosphere, namely China.

Actually let me set the record straight as far as what I said, because I may have spoken incorrectly.
The Antarctic ice set a record for this time of year, this day of this month. Actually it has a greater total extent, a record that likely soon will be shattered, but we shall see. The amount of ice measured and report is not an “all time” record as I may have suggested. It is just “for this day/month” and only since we’ve been able to measure sea ice effectively with satellites.
