Obama to Release One Third of Club Gitmo Vacationers
With the election impending, it’s time for Obama to make good on his promise to close Club Gitmo. Unfortunately, he never did figure out what to do with the inmates (here’s a hint for him), so that means letting go the world’s most dangerous incarcerated terrorists:
President Barack Obama is about to release or transfer 55 Gitmo prisoners, despite reports that the Libyan believed to be behind the killing of US Ambassador Christopher Stevens was a former Guantanamo inmate transferred to Libyan custody.
The large percentage of those scheduled to be released are Yemeni, according to a list made public by the Obama administration.
Obama stopped the release or transfer of Yemeni inmates in 2010, because the conditions in the country were viewed as too “unsettled” at the time.
Whereas now everything is calm in Yemen… aside from the mobs of Islamist maniacs laying siege to our embassy in hopes of getting their hands on an ambassador they can sodomize, murder, and drag naked through their garbage-strewn streets.

A few years down the road, 2012 will be presented to schoolchildren as the perfect example of a thrown election. There’s a total incompetent in the White House; someone who’s ruined the economy, thrown people into poverty, shut down job-producing industries, and gotten innocent Americans killed, and the only contender the GOP puts up is a guy who’s such a spineless weakling that he lets the incompetent in the White House walk all over him.
My only hope now is that 2014 will be taught as the year of the Second American Revolution, when true Americans swarmed Washington, arrested all the politicians, took over the government, cut all wasteful spending, opened up drilling for oil, and brought full employment back to The People by bringing industries back to the US by cutting all the taxes and penalties on them.
Because that sure as hell isn’t going to happen if the best the GOP can produce is Mittens the Kitten.
In a way I think this is a good idea – return them to the battlefield where we can fix the error we made the first time – snuff ‘em, don’t take ‘em.
I wonder if Obama might actually prefer to rearm them and turn them loose on the streets of America.

This is an example of the fact that Barack Obama either can’t learn or won’t learn from past mistakes. Apparently you can’t fix stupid.

I wouldn’t call the election over just yet.
Here’s the problem. Almost all conservatives know that voting for Obama in 2008 would be a collosal mistake. Leftists/liberals actually believe in socialism so you can’t reach them. That leaves you with the 10% or so in the middle who voted for Obama last time. Those people aren’t persuaded by calling them (or Obama) idiots. They need to come to terms with the fact that they made a bad choice, but most of them don’t want to think of it as a bad choice. Think of it as them having to find a way to save face.
The easiest way to do this is for them to accept the fact that what they believed about Obama, while well intended, just wasn’t true. Things just didn’t work out and its time for a change.
Does this remind you of the frat house crap from Abu Ghraib? I didn’t think so.

I say clear out the embassies in the middle of the night, dress them up as US ambassadors and have the Seals insert them, chaining them to the radiators
