Pennsylvania High School Band Celebrates Russian Revolution During Halftime Show
They were able to get Barack Hussein Obama in the White House. This is what they have managed to get into public schools:
A Pennsylvania high school marching band is raising eyebrows with a halftime performance that commemorates the Russian revolution, complete with red flags, olive military-style uniforms, and giant hammers and sickles.
“St. Petersburg: 1917” is the theme for the New Oxford High School Marching Band. Ironically, the school’s athletic teams are called the Colonials and their colors are red, white and blue. The band’s website features a picture of the group with students holding a hammer and sickle.
Students are unlikely to learn this in school, but the Russian Revolution was one of the most horrific catastrophes in human history. By putting the totalitarian dictator Vladimir Lenin in power, it set off a worldwide communist revolution that resulted in over 100,000,000 million peacetime deaths and the wretched impoverishment and enslavement of hundreds of millions more.
Even after the inevitable collapse of the Soviet Union, the world is not free of the evil represented by the hammer and sickle; it has infected members of our government, motivating them to steer our country toward ruin.
Speaking of Vladimir Lenin, this quote has proven inspirational to the socialists who control public education:
“Give me four years to teach the children and the seed I have sown will never be uprooted.”
But in defense of the educrats, superintendent for the Conewago Valley School District Rebecca Harbaugh says they once put on a show celebrating freedom.

Just as immoral and historically ignorant as to celebrate the “German Revolution” of 1933 with marching with Nazi swastikas. But the “progressive” airheads that planned this are deliberately ignorant of this fact and hope to keep their students the same way as long as possible.
Stalin was responsible for killing about 50 million of his own citizens. Because he wanted to sell grain to buy western products, he confiscated the grain from the people in the Ukraine (the breadbasket of europe). This resulted in the death of about 12 million Ukrainians. The event is called the Holomodor.
The teachers of these kids, ignorant as they are, should realize that if a communist revolution takes place, they will be amoung the first to be lined up and shot. They should learn their history.
Superintendent Rebecca Harbaugh said next Friday the band will celebrate the music of the Nazis with swastika and brown shirted goose steppers.

There may have been some truth if he had said:

Truth be told, the Muslims who wish to live in peace with their neighbors are those who are the “less orthodox” Muslims. And the orthodox Muslims are those who would force the less orthodox to be more orthodox. They are also the ones who will kill those who attempt to leave Islam.

The really offensive part of the half-time show honoring the 1917 Russian Revolution was the giant missile parade. Those heavy truck carriers really tear up the field.

What the FREAK are they teaching students? We already know what they are NOT teaching them.
I’m grateful that my father died years ago, I wouldn’t want him to have seen what happened to his country. On the other hand, I sometimes wish that he was still alive; he would have dragged his cancer-ridden body out of bed, loaded his shotgun and demanded that I get my rifle and drive him to DC.

Do not make the mistake of blaming all public school teachers for things like this. I was a junior high English teacher who used historical fiction to teach historical facts. I used “Animal Farm” for years with additional information on the Russian Revolution, as well as assigning research papers on the real people involved.
Russian Revolution was one of the most important success in the History, same as French Revolution or slave’s riots of Spartacus. After French Revolution a lot of murders was happened, the “Terror Period”. (Sorry fo my bad english)

Fair enough. Where are the outraged teachers, though? How many teachers complained to the band leader or the principal that this was an outrageous, totally inappropriate display?
Would anyone have said anything if those were German uniforms and symbols of the Third Reich (BTW, Lenin and Stalin killed way more people than Hitler).
An ADULT who is the band director is the person responsible for this.

The French Revolution was a hideous explosion of violence, lawlessness, and savagery. Entire families were guillotined, including children, and the mobs cheered as each head was lifted up. Countless women were raped. Priests and other men of God were hacked to bits by the bloodthirsty mobs for no reason at all. Churches and monasteries (Many of which were centuries old) were desecrated and burned. I could go on and on. You call those “Successes”?
One of the best endorsements of home schooling I’ve seen in a while.
Obviously “The Great Terror”, “Harvest of Sorrow”, or “The Gulag Archipelago” are not on any of their required reading list.
