AARP Brushes Off the Moonbat Messiah
A moonbat can tell he is approaching rock bottom when he gets scraped off even by the leftists at AARP in the aftermath of his debate implosion:
President Obama invoked AARP to defend his health care law [in the debate Wednesday] night, prompting the influential group to release a statement telling him not to do that again.
“While we respect the rights of each campaign to make its case to voters, AARP has never consented to the use of its name by any candidate or political campaign,” the group posted in a statement. “AARP is a nonpartisan organization and we do not endorse political candidates nor coordinate with any candidate or political party.”
This “nonpartisan” organization is so far to the left that it granted its annual Impact Award to the spittle-spewing commie Harry Belafonte. Other than crooning the annoying song “Day-O,” Belafonte is best known for his fulsome praise of the demonic totalitarian regime in Cuba, from where he has indulged in bug-eyed denunciations of America.
AARP worked hard to get ObamaCare passed, and not only due to its collectivist ideology. The crony socialist outfit stands to make as much as $166 million off ObamaCare in 2014 alone.
Just because they are kooks doesn’t mean they’re crazy. They know how to get their snouts in the trough — and when to cut themselves loose from a loser who might damage their brand.

On tips from Jodie and Bob Roberts.

Still, the regressives HAVE TO support the ONEderchild because to do otherwise would be admitting that they were wrong.
As I approach the “RP” years of my life, I was getting weekly mail from AARP begging me to join and give them my hard earned dollars.
I ignored the mail at first, but they wouldn’t stop.
Then I wrote them a polite letter, explaining I had no interest in joining their group, put it in the return envelope and sent it to them. They didn’t stop.
Finally, I took all of the crap in the envelope, including the envelope itself, and stuffed it in their self-addressed, postage paid return envelope and sent it back to them. It only took doing that three times before they got the message. One time I even threw in some other junk mail I got that day.
What a bunch of dopes.

“I know everything about you. We’ve been watching you, and since you don’t support Obama, we’ll deal with you.”
Joe,
LOL! That’s what I do with New York Times subscription solicitations. I even manage to put a staple or two in the flyer. I read somewhere that it causes their automated mailing system to go down.
AARP neutral? Whaaaaaaa. You can’t claim to be neutral and feature a left wing crank like Susan Sarandon on your cover.
I used to love to shop at Walgreen’s, but I might not be doing that anymore. They implemented a new card system, with points, discounts, and store credits. The past few times that I was in there, the clerks were really aggressive at trying to get me to sign up. I grabbed a brochure to find out about the card and saw that AARP was written all over it. No way I’m signing up for that!
“A politician spoke to a top D.C. special interest group on Monday. He told them that his legislation helped make them richer at taxpayers’ expense and received their applause for doing so. Sound outrageous? Well, consider this: The speaker was President Obama, and the special interest group was AARP.
‘No American should ever spend their golden years at the mercy of insurance companies,’ Obama said.
What he didn’t say was that the leadership of AARP had worked extensively behind the scenes with the White House to pass the law, acting against the wishes of its own members and spinning furiously to keep its own board of directors “in line.”
Advocacy is only part of what AARP does. It is also heavily involved in the insurance business. Insurers pay AARP to use its name, and that accounts for 60 percent of the organization’s revenue. Membership dues account for just 17 percent.”

Hey Joe…
and Tchhht!!!……
that’s what I do…..
every $0.45 is a small cut to their bottom line…..
I’ll try that staple trick next.
The biggest, hot steamy pile of the week: “AARP is a nonpartisan organization and we do not endorse political candidates nor coordinate with any candidate or political party.”
FYI: The black CEO of AARP, Barry (aka “barack”) Rand has been a frequent guest in the OBOZO White House. He has donated thousands to the OBOZO campaign. He ignored the best interests of seniors to back OBOZOCARE / OBOZOTAX for AARP’s (and his own) PROFIT.
AARP = an organization to be shunned and ignored by all responsible Americans until it – like America – gets responsible leadership.
Wall Street Journal, 21SEP12, Kimberley A. Strassel:
“Thanks to just-released emails from the House Energy and Commerce Committee, we now know that AARP worked through 2009-2010 as an extension of a Democratic White House, toiling daily to pass a health bill that slashes $716 Billion from Medicare, strips seniors of choice, and sets the stage for rationing…the ‘nonpartisan membership organization’ chose to serve the president’s agenda.”
I wiped the AARP off of my shoes when they backed oblahma
the last time around…too little too late
They are also Anti=Second Admendent,I take their Postage Paid Envelopes and Tape them to a Brick, and send it back to Them! They Have To Pay the Postage!
A staple ?
I was thinking more along the lines of some carpet tack.
The brick trick doesn’t work, it’ll just get thrown out. The carpet tack will just gum up the USPS, and they have enough going on these days. I can’t vouch for the staple, but I may just throw one in with each of the hundreds of credit card solicitation envelopes I return each year. I just send them empty otherwise. Each business reply costs the solicitor slightly less than first class. I don’t know the current rate.
Oh, and I like to put a little note in the envelope: “I don’t subscribe to commie bullsh!t”
I do not belong to AARP since I have always considered it a liberal organization (they lost me when they supported Hilary’s attempt to socialize medicine during the BJBill’s administration). Instead I belong to AMAC (the Association of Mature American Citizens), the conservative answer to AARP…Look them up, you might like them.
