When the Moonbat Messiah Has Lost the New Yorker…
As the flagship weekly of the liberal elite, the New Yorker should be counted on to assure its readers of their vast moral and intellectual superiority to the rubes in Jesusland who don’t understand that being a half-black leftist with an Islamo-communist background is all the qualification Obama needs. Yet the thrashing he took from Mitt Romney was so severe, news of it is penetrating even the snootiest ivory towers:

Clint Eastwood’s empty chair meme is really catching on.
On tips from Bob Roberts, Merchant of Venom, and TED.

The empty chair would have scored higher than Mr. “I’ve said this all before and I don’t have any new answers.”
Still with the ‘thrashing’ storyline?
His Mittness was at no point truthful. We still have zero idea of how he plans to make a gigantic $5trillion tax cut revenue neutral (“trust me”? really???), the Medicare attack line has been debunked – by everyone, even the FauzNews sycophants – infinite times…
Do any of you think a single pro-Obama voter was swayed – even a tiny bit – by that performance? The red meat makes the base happy, but the point of the debates is, in theory at least, to influence undecided voters. Lying to them and giving zero specifics just ain’t doing it.
I certainly don’t believe His Mittness can find a unicorn in the tax code. If you believe in unicorns… well, good luck with that.
It must be very difficult to realize that you are a leftist dupe, and that you’re ideology is based on nothing but lies, soundbites, and what the MSM tells you to say and think.
Like the rest of us, in the end, all you’re left with is reality. And for leftists, reality is like sunlight to a vampire, isn’t it.
Less-than-Obvious,
Thank you for admitting that Romney was correct with his 47% comment. No amount of truth or facts will EVER sway the “pro-Obama voter”.
And you have a President that ran last time AND this time on Hope & Change, yet you want specifics from Mitt?
Obvious, you are really funny. Obama has not presented a single program in four years that has helped produce anything but government jobs or turn around the economy. Any specific item that Romney brings up you guys use as a club (I note that Ryan’s efforts to fix Medicare resulted in him throwing Granny over the cliff).
Pro-Obama voters were not swayed by Romney’s tour-de-force performance. They are in the tank for Obama; they are waiting in lines for their free phones. They don’t see the difference between a guy who has and understanding of issues, has been able to use his talent, education, and creativity to turn around and create businesses, create tens of thousands of jobs while creating fortunes for himself and his investors, versus a guy who has no answers.
The problem with taxes is that liberals believe that the economy is a zero sum game. They believe that the only solution is to tax more. Guys like Romney know that the pie isn’t a fixed size; that the size of the pie and the number of pies can be increased. If you knew that, you might be on the road to the same kind of business success as Romney demonstrated.
But again; you would vote for an empty chair versus a guy who actually knows his stuff.
They’re just butt hurt and petulant because their Obamasiah turned out to be nothing more than an empty suit puffed up full of nothing but hot air.
If they weren’t so self blinded with their adulation over his blackness they only had to look at what we do know about his time at the law school – nobody really liked him and fewer and fewer students took his class and he didn’t publish anything worth reading (i.e., he was a quota queen).
hey Obviously-Clueless, that whole “5 TRILLION DOLLAR TAX ON THE MIDDLE CLASS!!!” thing has been so, so refuted. Even that classless liar Cutter admitted the changes will NOT increase the burden.
Oh yeah, if you spent even a little time away from your worship of King Putt you’d find Ryan and Mitt’s tax plans. They were published ages ago and they are sticking with them with perhaps a few mods along the way.
As someone pointed out in a well-written piece recently, no one who voted for McCain in 2008 is going to vote for Obama now; many who lacked enthusiasm in 2008 are motivated to vote for Romney this year, even if they are primarily motivated “against” Obama; Obama is going to lose a few points from each “base” group that he’s alienated with his policies (blacks, women, Catholics, etc.) and enthusiasm among his loyal core is diminishing. The math is simple and the result is “obvious” to anyone with a brain. The opinions of Obama’s deluded hardcore followers are meaningless and not worth the effort to refute.
Obvious point says:
“His Mittness was at no point truthful”
Neither was Obama. the only truthful statement made was from Romney and it was the “you said you would cut the deficit in half” line.
“We still have zero idea of how he plans to make a gigantic $5 trillion tax cut revenue neutral”
Thats over 10 years.

I have been looking for these but cant seem to find them. Do you have a link you could post? Want to check to see if rumors are true about the lowering of the Investment/capitol gains tax to 0%-1% and eliminating the EIC and child/tax credits are true.
Here is something for you obvious point:

God bless Clint Eastwood.
Sorry to tell “Obvious” and his cohorts, but after Obama’s humiliating defeat in a month, the defining icon that will forever be associated with him will be The Empty Chair.
Boo hoo, not fair, first black President, historic, Hope, Change…
Nope.
Empty chair.
Life’s a bitch sometime.
