Diversity Commissar Kicked to Curb for Thought Crime
Under a totalitarian system, no one is free, least of all the rulers. For example, this is what happened when a university’s diversity commissar stepped outside the rigid confines of moonbat orthodoxy:
The chief diversity officer at Gallaudet University has been placed on paid leave after she signed a petition to put a gay marriage referendum on the ballot in Maryland.
Gallaudet President T. Alan Hurwitz announced Angela McCaskill’s leave in a statement Wednesday. …
McCaskill lives in Maryland, where voters will decide in November whether to approve a state law legalizing gay marriage. The referendum was placed on the ballot by opponents of same-sex unions.
McCaskill was exposed to the thought police by the militant homosexual publication the Washington Blade.

I’m confused. So gay marriage is currently not legal in Maryland, and she supports putting it to a vote? Isn’t that what gay-rights people want? Maryland has voted Democrat every election since 1992, and voted for Obama over McCain 62%-37%. It makes no difference who’s pushing for the measure; gay marriage would win easily there.
