A local story from Indiana gives an idea of how futile it is to look for common ground with Democrats:
Former President Bill Clinton spoke to a crowd of 3,000 Friday at the Hoosier Common Sense Rally at North Central High School in Indianapolis, where he joined John Gregg, Democratic candidate for Indiana governor, and U.S. Representative Joe Donnelly, D-Ind., who is running for U.S. Senate, to rile up Democrats for the fast-approaching election.
A starstruck Donnelly joked about his first call with Clinton in planning the event, saying he was shocked to hear the “voice of God” on the other line.
No one anywhere denies that Bill Clinton has been a brazen liar and relentless degenerate. He has repeatedly forced himself on women who did not consent to his advances (e.g., Juanita Broaderick, Kathleen Willey). National security could easily have been endangered by his gross irresponsibility in the appalling Monica Lewinsky debacle, during which he displayed contempt for the trust the public had placed in him. His behavior while in the White House was so totally unacceptable that he was impeached and disbarred. As a fictional character, he would be too much an utter cad to be believable.
He is to liberals what Mohammed is to Muslims.

Clinton’s secretary used to open the gates for Lewinsky on the weekends. Sadly, one weekend she had to attend a family funeral but Clinton wanted her to come in, regardless–Lewinski pursuaded Clinton to “let her be.”

What does this say about us as a society, that we idolize a pathological liar and the only president to be impeached for (at the very least) perjury?
Apparently, the lesson to the country is, be a liar, a con-artist, and a phony, and you too can become famous, loved, respected, and “very” wealthy. This is why many people say, U.S.A. should be replaced by, F.U.B.A.R.

He kept making points and then trying to tell people to pay attention y’all, this is significant, here’s how you need to think about that y’all, etc. Wouldn’t let them think for themselves.

Like Bob Dylan said “steal a little and they throw you in jail, steal a lot and they make you a king” .. Of course, the Democrats had KKK Byrd running around for a half century, the craven Ted Kennedy who let a woman die in his car, and now we have the POTUS who must have authorized Fast and Furious resulting in the deaths of hundreds of Mexicans and border agent Brian Terry. If he is innocent, he could lift the Executive Privilege order on the documents. They will have to be pried from them. At least in Watergate, there were no dead bodies.
