Government Teachers Play Hooky to Learn How to Play With Dolls and Promote Islam
One of the many perks of being a government school teacher is that they have so few workdays — and even some of those are spent not teaching but wallowing in moonbattery:
Each year, Minnesota government schools close for two days (just before the weekend, of course) so teachers’ union members can gather at a conference organized by their union.
It’s meant to “inspire teachers,” EAGnews.org reported, and the conference includes a session titled, “Using Persona Dolls to Promote Social Emotional Intelligence and Acceptance of Diversity.”
But teachers don’t take time off during the school week just to play with dolls. They also learn about how to promote Islam:
“An expert panel will present information on teaching about Islam in the context of social studies and world religion. They will share perspectives on how educators can help improve intercultural communication and well-being for immigrant and refugee students and families from Muslim countries.”
Kids won’t be taught about beheadings or 9/11, but they might learn a few Islamic hand signs.
This year’s gala extravaganza also scheduled a session on the importance of the election (i.e., an Obama rally).
Under government/union control, the education system has degenerated into a dysfunctional farce. Obama’s solution? Hire more government teachers, and worry about how to pay them later.

This is really nuts. Unfortunately most teachers have their hands tied when it comes to attending this sort of thing. I’m sure the vast majority would rather be in the classroom.
A modest $1 tax on each use of the phrase “social justice” in the event materials could close the state’s budget deficit.
If anyone still believes their local school boards dictate what is taught, then wake up.
The teachers unions hold these indoctrination meetings (“re-education camps”) on a regular basis. I have a public school teacher in my family who has become completely radicalized by these traitors. He used to be a free market type, but is now a complete moonbat, all because of the unions.
Time to outlaw them. Definitely require right-to-work laws everywhere.
Public schools are in pretty sad shape unfortunately. NCLB was a great idea in theory but in practice it actually end up labling kids. Maybe that it the whole idea since schools make more money for kids who are labled “special needs” than regular kids. Recent case in point- my daughter turned 5 two weeks before the cut off date for kindergarten and reluctantly I enrolled her in the local public school. She was immediatly lost and although I had worked with her at home and had her in a 2 day a week preschool. I could get her to do the work at home but at school she either refused or acted confused. It didn’t help that there were 27 kids in her kindergarten class. She had a great teacher but I think she was probably overwhelmed too and wanted to label Rebecca as “learning disabled” although I know full well she is not. Long story short- NCLB required grades to be given in kindergarten and when Rebecca brought home a paper full of “F”s I immediatly took her out. I placed her in a private preschool (we are eating mac and cheese, saltines and ramen to keep her there) and she is doing wonderfully at all the things she was so confused about in kindergarten. We plan to keep her in private school for a couple more years and then teach her at home. The books the private schools use are also availible for home use so it shouldnt be that hard of a transition. If we had gone alone with the school I’m sure she would have been labled as something by now and it would have been as permanent as a tattoo on her forehead.
WAKE-UP AMERICA and realize that what used to jokingly be called “teachers” are nothing more than unionist socialist indoctrinators determined to brainwash students into their own perverse form of leftist ideological extremism.
