Good one SL442! However, but she *didn’t* have the transcript ready. It’s the reason she didn’t read it…and why she seemed flustered, and flubbed it when BO asked her to say it louder.
Re-watch the video segment and you’ll notice something very obviously and quite telling. Right as BO approaches Candy, she starts frantically shuffling through all her papers. It’s very clear that was her ‘queue’ to pull up the transcript. I’m sure the plan was to read it aloud, word-for-word, for the audience, but she never found it! It’s actually pretty funny, because the scam lost a lot of its effectiveness. I also think that many in the audience were in on it as well. They just seemed way too eager to break into applause, while the rest of us (including Romney) were still trying to figure what the hell was going on.
I’ve yet to hear a single news pundit point this out.
What this proves is this– BO and the press conspired in advance. This is the equivalent of outright cheating.
We’ve never seen anything like this ever before in a debate. It needs to be investigated and those involved need to be exposed and pay a penalty. The RNC should crying “foul” from the housetops, but for some strange reason, they haven’t said a whole lot. I have NO idea why our guys put up with this crap.
