Went to my usual polling place…been the same spot for 20 years…and it wasn’t being used. (I failed to look at that book they send, since it’s ALWAYS in the same place).
Strangely enough, a group of African American citizens were casually standing there. “Oh, they moved it. It’s at xxxx.” OK, thanks.
Went there. OOPS! “You’re at the wrong precinct. You need to go to xxxx.” Hmmmm.
Got to the correct voting station and it was the most disorganized, badly laid out deal I’ve ever seen. No one had a clue what they were doing.
For a B.S. off-year election, they had 15 people who were up to speed, in a place that was easy to get to and known to everyone.
This time…
(By the way…how interesting that a group of African American citizens…in a mostly caucasian and slightly hispanic neighborhood…were conveniently there to tell me to go to the wrong polling place.)

If it means anything, voter turnout at the polls I went to was luke-warm…which in this part of the country is a GOOD thing for Romney.
