Stacie Laughton: A Leader for Our Times

If we are to believe that our elected leadership reflects the American people, this is what we have become:

Stacie Laughton, 28, won a seat in the New Hampshire House of Representatives in Tuesday’s election. [It] is a trans woman, that is someone with a female gender identity who was assigned as male at birth.

Since liberals regard the bureaucracy as being like God, it is unsurprising that they also regard God as being like the bureaucracy, so that He could accidentally assign someone the wrong body through sheer incompetence.

(IBD) Members of Alliance of Californians for Community Empowerment protest outside Bank of America offices to demand banks’ accountability, foreclosure…

If your organization has a policy or practice that doesn’t benefit minorities equally, watch out: The Obama administration could sue you for racial discrimination under a dubious legal theory that many argue is unconstitutional.

President Obama intends to close “persistent gaps” between whites and minorities in everything from credit scores and homeownership to test scores and graduation rates.

His remedy — short of new affirmative-action legislation — is to sue financial companies, schools and employers based on “disparate impact” complaints — a stealthy way to achieve racial preferences, opposed 2 to 1 by Americans.

Under this broad interpretation of civil-rights law, virtually any organization can be held liable for race bias if it maintains a policy that negatively impacts one racial group more than another — even if it has no racist motive and applies the policy evenly across all groups.

    Equal Outcomes

This means that even race-neutral rules for mortgage underwriting and consumer credit scoring potentially can be deemed racist if prosecutors can produce statistics showing they tend to result in adverse outcomes for blacks or Latinos.

Already, Attorney General Eric Holder has used the club of disparate-impact lawsuits to beat almost $500 million in loan set-asides and other claims out of the nation’s largest banks.

In addition to the financial settlements — which include millions in funding for affordable-housing activists — Bank of America, Wells Fargo and SunTrust have all agreed to adopt more minority-friendly lending policies…

    Docket / Court 94 C 4094 ( N.D. Ill. ) FH-IL-0011
    State/Territory Illinois

    Case Summary:

Plaintiffs filed their class action lawsuit on July 6, 1994, alleging that Citibank had engaged in redlining practices in the Chicago metropolitan area in violation of the Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA), 15 U.S.C. 1691; the Fair Housing Act, 42 U.S.C. 3601-3619; the Thirteenth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution; and 42 U.S.C. 1981, 1982.

Plaintiffs alleged that the Defendant-bank rejected loan applications of minority applicants while approving loan applications filed by white applicants with similar financial characteristics and credit histories. Plaintiffs sought injunctive relief, actual damages, and punitive damages.

U.S. District Court Judge Ruben Castillo certified the Plaintiffs’ suit as a class action on June 30, 1995. Buycks-Roberson v. Citibank Fed. Sav. Bank, 162 F.R.D. 322 (N.D. Ill. 1995).

Also on June 30, Judge Castillo granted Plaintiffs’ motion to compel discovery of a sample of Defendant-bank’s loan application files. Buycks-Roberson v. Citibank Fed. Sav. Bank, 162 F.R.D. 338 (N.D. Ill. 1995).

The parties voluntarily dismissed the case on May 12, 1998, pursuant to a settlement agreement.

BTW Here is a letter to the editor by Barry Sr concerning Barry jr’s wife
    http://www.laconiadailysun.com/index.php/component/content/article?id=26587
To the editor, I need to let you know about Barack Obama’s campaign workers in Laconia. I have a daughter-law who is disabled mentally and just got released from the House of Corrections. She spent 8-months in there for something she didn’t understand, because a friend that she had was jealous she got married and sent her a credit card and told her it was a gift. She used the card thinking it was a gift and then her friend called the police and had her arrested for credit card fraud. She paid her debt and now is at home and she wanted to work for the Barack Obama campaign so she went to his local office. The workers there told her they didn’t need people like her working there because of the credit card fraud. It’s bad enough she can’t vote but she should be allowed to help in the political process in this country. Senator Barack Obama talks about CHANGE in this country and to have one of his workers treat her like this is unforgivable. All she wanted to do is help.

    Barry C. Laughton, Sr.

    _____
Honest Abe Barry jr quickly deep sixed the merchandise purchased with this card when he discovered the heat was on.

BTW likely her small time experience in credit card fraud wasn’t up to team Barry’s expectations.

Also, anyone believe she didn’t vote ?

Such is the nonsense of moonbats:

“someone with a female gender identity who was assigned as male at birth”

You are not “assigned” anything. Prior to genetic testing your genitalia defined what you were except in rare cases of ambiguous genitalia. In those rare cases mistakes were, unfortunately, made from time to time and it would be fair to suggest someone was “assigned” the wrong sex/gender.

Now with genetic testing you’re not “assigned” anything. You are what you are no matter how much you wish to believe otherwise.

This GUY is not fooling anyone but himself and other moonbats.

  • Bob Roberts

The genetic sex of a child is determined at conception. The mother’s egg cell (ovum) contains an X chromosome, while the father’s sperm cell contains either an X or a Y chromosome. These X and Y chromosomes determine the child’s genetic sex.

Normally, an infant inherits one pair of sex chromosomes — one X from the mother and one X or one Y from the father. The father “determines” the genetic sex of the child. A baby who inherits the X chromosome from the father is a genetic female (two X chromosomes). A baby who inherits the Y chromosome from the father is a genetic male (one X and one Y chromosome). The male and female reproductive organs and genitals both come from the same tissue in the fetus.

If the process that causes this fetal tissue to become “male” or “female” is disrupted, ambiguous genitalia can develop. The genitalia makes it difficult to easily identify the infant as male or female. The extend of the ambiguity varies. In very rare instances, the physical appearance may be fully developed as the opposite of the genetic sex. For example, a genetic male may have developed the appearance of a normal female.

Typically, ambiguous genitalia in genetic females (babies with two X chromosomes) has the following features:

An enlarged clitoris that looks like a small penis.
The urethral opening (where urine comes out) can be anywhere along, above, or below the surface of the clitoris.
The labia may be fused and look like a scrotum.
The infant may be thought to be a male with undescended testicles.
Sometimes a lump of tissue is felt within the fused labia, further making it look like a scrotum with testicles.
In a genetic male (one X and one Y chromosome), ambiguous genitalia usually include the following features:

A small penis (less than 2 – 3 centimeters or 3/4 to 1 1/4 inches) that looks like an enlarged clitoris (the clitoris of a newborn female is normally somewhat enlarged at birth).
The urethral opening may be anywhere along, above, or below the penis. It can be located as low as on the peritoneum, further making the infant appear to be female.
There may be a small scrotum that is separated and looks like labia.
Undescended testicles commonly occur with ambiguous genitalia.
Ambiguous genitalia is usually not life threatening (see Causes section for exceptions), but it can create social problems for the child and family. For this reason, a team of experienced specialists, including neonatologists, geneticists, endocrinologists, and psychiatrists or social workers will be involved in the child’s care.

There are also two relatively rare genetic defects:

Klinefelter’s syndrome (XXY) and Turner’s syndrome (XO).

The presence of a Y chromosome is what defines one as male and it’s absence defines one as female. There’s no “assignation” involved.

    HENCE:

Those who have Klinefelter’s are considered to be males with an extra X. This defect exists in between 1:500 to 1:1000 live male births. Apparently this condition can go undetected until adulthood although, with modern prenatal testing, in 2002 58% of those unborn boys with this abnormality in the U.S. were aborted.

Testosterone therapy is used to increase strength, promote muscular development, grow body hair, improve mood and self esteem, increase energy and improve concentration.

Most men who have Klinefelter syndrome are not able to father children. However, some men with an extra X chromosome have fathered healthy offspring, sometimes with the help of infertility specialists.

Most men who have Klinefelter syndrome can expect to have a normal and productive life. Early diagnosis, in conjunction with educational interventions, medical management, and strong social support will optimize each individuals potential in adulthood.

Turner’s is a case where a female has a single X, no paired sex chromosome or, in variations of the condition, a damaged second sex chromosome or a condition where some cells have the normal condition while others have the abnormal condition. This defect occurs in about 1:2500 female live births worldwide and often results in spontaneous natural termination of pregnancy in other cases.

The process by which oocytes (eggs) or sperm develop is called meiosis. Sometimes in this process the sex chromosome is lost. So you can wind up with a normal egg with a single X being fertilized by a sperm with no sex chromosome, leading to XO, or an abnormal egg being fertilized by a normal sperm with either an X or a Y (XO or YO) but the YO variant never survives while either route to the XO variant can produce a viable child, even though sometimes it does not.

In the related case, mosaicism, you may have a point early in the developing fetus where one of the parent cells loses one of the sex chromosomes. So some of the cells will have XX while others have XO. Exactly what symptoms are present and how severe they are depends on how many cells are defective.

While Turner syndrome is genetic in that it involves the loss or abnormal expression of X-chromosome genes, it is not usually hereditary in the conventional sense. That is, it does not typically “run in families.” The one exception to this observation are families with a X-chromosome deletion which is stable enough to be passed down through the generations and which also allows fertility.

Turner syndrome affects all races, nationalities and regions of the world equally, and parents who have produced many unaffected children may still have a child with Turner syndrome. There are no known toxins or environmental hazards that increase the chances of Turner syndrome.

A woman with Turner syndrome has a low probability of being fertile, since the ovaries are negatively impacted in this disorder. However, if she does become pregnant and passes on her normal X-chromosome to her offspring, no continuation of the syndrome is expected.

I know injecting logic and introspection is a dangerous thing here, but I’d like to ask a very pertinent question: Who says God has to “make a mistake” for trans people to truly exist? Why is it so impossible for God to have made them intentionally, as part of his own plan? Do you claim to know God’s plan? That’s the height of arrogance and supremely un-Christian. It says in Isaiah 40:13 “Who hath directed the Spirit of the LORD, or being his counseller hath taught him?”, and it’s reiterated in Romans 11:34 “For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been his counseller?” and again in 1 Corinthians 2:16 “For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.” You may be influenced by God, you may try to serve him, but you can’t truly know what he’s thinking or what he plans.
