Statist Idolatry
By any objective measure of performance, assuming that his purpose is to promote America’s best interests, Barack Hussein Obama has been a catastrophic failure. Yet we see this:
On the field is the Southern University Marching Band, spelling out the name of liberals’ lord and savior during the halftime show of their big game against Grambling State University.
Similar accolades were paid to Hitler in the 1930s.
The collectivist statism personified by Obama isn’t replacing religion. It is a religion itself — godless, shallow, and evil, but a religion nonetheless.

I’m sure if you go back to 2004 the Southern U marching band honored Bush in the same way.
The problem with this formation is the Obama worshipers on the opposite side of the field couldn’t figure out what it was.
I’m not surprised at this sort of Obama ‘worship’ or devotion on the part of leftist-influenced universities. It’s just another proof that the long Communist march through our American institutions has been successful.
Notice also the hypocrisy or double standard of it all. Leftists would have been howling and screaming had any public university did the same sort of thing toward Bush when he was in Office. There would have been a near riot had any teacher gathered her young elementary students to sing songs of praise to Bush like they had done to Obama.
It’s utterly astounding how this man (Obama) has been worshipped and adored by the MSM, young adults and seemingly most Americans!? I know why it’s occurring on an intellectual level, but its still difficult to watch as it happens before my eyes!
That display should serve as a symbol to the American people of their weakness, stupidity, and extreme gullibility.
That the Left sees the Muslim-in-Chief as their god is not at all surprising. They have become infamous for worshiping false idols. And, the Marxist in the WH will turn out to be the most false of all.
Godless? Au contraire; they have teh Won.
Yeah, right.
If they did the same for Bush I would denounce that, too.

Or Hussein … more appropriate. It’s not that he’s the president, its pure racial triablism, Southern is a “Historically Black College” and the minds full of mush that attend worship his skin color.
Imagine nowadays there being such a thing as a Historically White College, or Historically Heterosexual College?

The irony here is that these college students are salivating over thoughts of loan forgiveness, and more grant money.
Yet these programs ultimately serve to disconnect their favorite liberal arts institution from the marketplace.
So tuition rates continue to rise, and they become MORE dependent.

Wikipedia’s entry for Southern College states “Southern University and A&M College is a historically black college located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.”
You can imagine my shock when I read that. With a little less than 100% of blacks voting for “our Lord and Savior” who would have imagined that a black university would put on such a display.
Should be Southern University.
