Since most everything that comes out of politicians’ mouths is a lie, to determine their attitudes and intentions, you have to interpret their gestures. Our first anti-American president made a gesture that would be hard not to notice by attending a holiday concert Sunday evening featuring the vehemently anti-American rapper PSY:
On a 2004 song for a South Korean band, PSY rapped: “Kill those f—ing Yankees who have been torturing Iraqi captives.”
The lyrics went on to say: “Kill their daughters, mothers, daughters-in-law and fathers.”
In no sane world would a President of the United States sit smiling and clapping in the audience as PSY performs, nor would the Vice President pose for a photo with this character. But then, in no sane world would white audiences cheer the notion that whites should be killed. In a sane world, South Koreans like PSY would recognize that they would be living in North Korea if not for American blood and treasure, and they would show a little gratitude.
