In Aftermath of Catastrophic Election, Small Businesses Have No Plans to Hire

Elections have consequences. Among the most easily predictable consequences of wallowing in Marxist moonbattery by voting for Obama’s class warfare platform:

U.S. small-business owners expect to add fewer net new jobs over the next 12 months than at any time since the depths of the 2008-2009 recession, according to this November’s Wells Fargo/Gallup Small Business Index survey. Small-business owners’ net hiring intentions for the next 12 months plunged to -4 in November, down from +10 in July and matching the previous record low recorded by the Wells Fargo/Small Business Index of -4 in November 2008.

Now what might have caused this key indicator of our economic future to bottom out in November 2008 and then again in November 2012?

That’s okay, we don’t need greedy capitalist employers. Unemployment bennies may eventually run out, but then we can just go on disability. It isn’t just for the disabled anymore. There will always be a few hardworking suckers left who still have jobs to pull us along.

Don’t worry, this will be laundered out of the U3 numbers

But for now, let the green ink flow in the streets

Kapitalism bad, Karl Marx cool, Romney evil, 47%, Koch Brothers, Fox News is the devil, Bush stole my teddybear, tax the rich, spread the wealth, spend more, communism is cool, collective, utopia, rainbow stew, vibrant diversity, government as sugar daddy, you didn’t build that, small business evil, free cellphone, free healthcare, everything should be a free human right, santa claus government, republicans bad.

…so much for my peak earning years…
well who am I kidding : honest farmers and small business proprietors are lucky to break even after taxes (capitol gains)and nobody hires you after you turn 50 anyway. Living well may be not only our solace but our only return on investment.

Personally, i hope Obama puts his Marxist foot on the throats of the American people and grinds them into the ground like a dead cigarette. Then, maybe then, they will wake up, although i truly doubt it.

It has always been predicted that America’s end would come from within, at the hands of it’s own people. Nov. 6th proved that prophecy to be true.

The death tax has nothing to do with revenue
In fact, it costs government more to implement than it actually takes in
No, what the death tax means is that a business owner would be better off downsizing before they Pass on, laying off those workers, and spending the money on wine, fast women, and easy cars.

We have now become the perfect breeding ground for a new mafia. The Soviet Union and 19th Century Sicily had heretofore been the hotbed of criminal enterprises because of the rampant corruption and bureaucratic strangulation of the people.

The New American Black Market will make the Soviets look honest as we are now more like them. The Russians learned to scheme the system like a virtuoso violinist, while they stole everything they could. It is the best example of a successful adaptation to a government gone mad.

justme, you got that right! Pretty soon we’re even going to have black market back alley medical practice.

Paul Krugman postulates that less hiring leads to a lower labor participation rate which reduces the unemployment % which is a good thing. Who could argue with that?

Sadly, and politically speaking, the American people usually end up getting just what they deserve. There’s a price to pay for weakness and stupidity, and man, are they ever gonna pay it!

Speaking of Krugman, have you seen the article at Michelle Malkin on the petition to build a Death Star. It’s a plan Krugman would love. You gotta read the whole thing because in her final paragraph Malkin sums up the Obamanomics logic of it all:

The small business I work for is hiring. Only because we had to let a bunch of people go, took away 401k matching, employees have to pay more of their health insurance burden, smaller bonuses, no raises for the foreseeable future … so some people ended up quitting and we have to replace them. So, net jobs lost when it’s all said and done.

  • Jester

I’ve turned away at least a dozen people looking for work this year; I simply can’t afford the government’s cut if I hire them.

You’re kidding! Gallup said that? Is that the same Gallup that had Romney beating Obama by 50%-49%? Well then take that friggin’ poll to the BANK. Wait… this just in – Obama 51% Romney 47%. http://www.presidency.ucsb.edu/data/preferences.php.

This country made it through the 70′s (Nixon, Ford, Carter!). Everyone writing us off due this BS is Sadly Mistaken.
