Actually since #1 is “old” and “white” and “male” (even though that’s NOT really true about Republicans/conservatives, who come in all ages, sexes and colors) I would say the score is 5-8.

You may have heard that Obama seems to realize that, like cap and trade, gun control is a losing issue for him & other Democrats. One that can only hurt them.

So he’s leaving it to the Chinese to make the arguments!

The Communist Chinese government, via its state-run media front Xinhua, has called for Americans to be disarmed, arguing that the Sandy Hook school massacre demands “no delay for U.S. gun control.”

That’s right – the openly aggressive Chinese government can’t wait until America trashes the 2nd Amendment.

Horse face (is it OK to call her “horse face”?) is flopping at the box office.

Barbra Streisand and Seth Rogen’s road-trip comedy The Guilt Trip debuted to an unimpressive $1.1 million at the North American box office on Wednesday

Big surprise here: Boehner cannot rally Republicans behind a plan that capitulates to Obama/Democrats and raises taxes on the rich.

He needs to move forward a plan that does NOT raise taxes on the rich then present THAT.

So he apologized? So do some conservatives who go to far and they still get fired – so should he!

The perils of texting while walking.

A 16-year-old California girl is lucky to be alive after being bitten six times by rattlesnakes.

Vera Oliphant was walking up a hill near San Diego about two weeks ago looking for a cell phone signal when she stepped into a pit of snakes.

Rattlesnake venoms feature neurotoxins, cytotoxins and hemotoxins – Crotalus oreganus helleri – Southern Pacific Rattlesnake is a good example of one of the local dangerous snake types. Pit vipers, rattlesnakes may feature one venom type or venom combinations.

NO THIS WILL NEVER DO! This is a gun free zone! You cannot bring a weapon here even for self-defense!

If a crazed gunman shows up you just have to submit calmly and willingly!

A staff member who was worried about safety after the tragedy in Connecticut brought her own loaded gun to an elementary school on Wednesday.

Police say a staff member in her late 50s brought a .357 magnum revolver into the school. It was loaded with five rounds. She put it in a locker in a faculty lounge and told a teacher. That teacher then told school officials, who alerted police.

She was put on administrative leave.

So now the students there are once again defenseless.

Hear that, lunatics, maniacs and moonbats?

Seward Montessori in south Minneapolis is once again a “gun-free zone” where you can shoot to your heart’s content without worrying about anyone firing back until whatever time the police show up if they even get called at all.

    INSANITY!

Oh this will drive the moonbat liberals crazy!

Shape of human hand may have evolved for fighting, scientists say.

Why are our hands the shape that they are? Compared with those of other apes, the thumb is longer and the palms and fingers are short.

Researchers at the University of Utah report: The hand is the shape that it is because it allows us to make a nice fist for fighting that protects key parts of the hand from harm.

The proposal, made by student Michael Morgan and biologist David Carrier, was published in the Journal of Experimental Biology. The duo tested their hypothesis in a series of experiments in which men pounded punching bags, squeezed pressure sensors or performed one-handed push-ups on top of pressure sensors. From this, the scientists learned that force meted out by the hand is about the same when a bag is punched by a fist versus slapped, but nearly twice as great when you consider that the fist delivers its force to a smaller surface area. The study also found that the knuckle joint of the index finger is rendered stiffer and more stable — transfering force more effectively and protecting the hand — when a tight fist is made.

In other words, the fist is a dandy fighting tool.

Though admittedly not that useful in “gun free zones” if some lunatic decides they’re not going to abide by that nonsense.

Liberals want ALL humans as defenseless as a fetus.

    And you know why.

Liberals love murdering the defenseless. They get sexual pleasure from it.

Mass murderers and serial killers are liberals. ALL OF THEM.

That’s one of those that I thought about posting several times and don’t remember if I finally did or not. Lots of stories like that, some I do post, some I leave for others to post, eventually get a thread of their own when Mr. Blount gets around to finding the appropriate angle.

Personally I thought your take on it was pretty good.

GOT CIVILITY? (This NJ liberal moonbat clearly DOES NOT!)

A Hawthorne man who actively supports gay marriage was ordered detained Thursday pending a psychological evaluation following his arrest on charges of threatening the governor of Louisiana and a member of a congresswoman’s staff.

U.S. Magistrate Judge Cathy L. Waldor ordered the detention and evaluation of Ronnie D. McMillian, 27, who was arrested by the FBI on Wednesday.

McMillian was charged with two counts of using the telephone to threaten injury to Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal and a constituent affairs employee on the staff of U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmann, R-Minn.

An investigation by the U.S. Capitol Police allegedly found that McMillian would call the offices of members of Congress and other public officials and scream at the person who answered the call or the voice mail system, using vulgar, harassing, and sometimes threatening language to attack the official’s positions on gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender rights, authorities said.

“In many of these calls, McMillian threatens that he or others will harm the targeted public official or staff member who answered his call,” U.S. Capitol Police special agent John Delegan said in court papers.

Funny, why don’t I ever hear of Republicans/Conservatives doing this?

Oh, wait, it’s because THEY REALLY ARE CIVIL! Oh, once in a while a moonbat, in a false flag operation, will call perhaps and POSE as a Tea Party member and do this – there were a few cases of moonbat offices vandalized but the police found out it was other moonbats that did it.

  • Bob Roberts

Oh, and by the way, the guy in my last post (Ronnie D. McMillian) appears to be a 27 year old black man who may actually live in his mother’s basement as he pursues a career of being an angry young black male gay activist.

OOPS, is that racist that I said that? Or bigoted?

Somewhere back in time, people decided that it was a great thing to lie to kids about Santa Claus. For some reason, it’s been deemed okay to make up all kinds of stories about this “magic man”. And if anyone dares to publicly state that he is not real, they are scourged for it.

Personally, it has always bothered me. I didn’t like it that my parents lied to me, and I never liked lying to my daughter about it. I certainly didn’t use Santa as a tool to get her to behave or clean up her room or anything like that – which many do. I think Santa is a ploy to keep people from associating Jesus with Christmas and this year, I’m particularly annoyed with the Santa thing after watching the MSM fawn all over him.

When parents lie about Santa, kids are going to wonder what else they would lie about. “Mommy; if Santa isn’t true, why should I believe you about God and Jesus?”

Thanks Sam Adams for the validation! That is exactly how I felt about the whole thing. They lied about the Easter Bunny and the Tooth Fairy and Santa Claus. What is a kid to believe? It just never set well with me.

Why Buffet loves the death tax – of course, as always with limousine liberals like Buffet, its about making himself more money at the expense of the little guy trying to preserve his business or farm:

The life insurance industry is one of the biggest proponents of a high estate tax.

“They sell products that protect against it,” Schoening Strategies President and Family Business Coalition Chairman Palmer Schoening told The Daily Caller News Foundation. “They sell what are called second-to-die, and other policies that basically bring them premiums of about $12-15 billion a year.”

A 2010 report showed that the last time there was a debate over the death tax, the life insurance lobby was a “key force pushing against repeal of the estate tax as the tax creates demand for their insurance,” The Daily Caller reported.

Warren Buffett owns seven life insurance companies within his holdings of Berkshire Hathaway.
