Reagan Warned Us About Obama

It isn’t easy to believe that the great Ronald Reagan and the shameful Barack Hussein Obama were elected president within only a generation of each other.

If we don’t recover the character represented by Reagan very soon, we will have canceled our own future.

On a tip from TED.

“were elected president within only a generation of each other…”

That fact illustrates just how fast America is rotting away, and from within. In one generation, we went from our greatest President to the worst president. So far. We’ve gone from a genuine America-loving patriot, to a America-hating, Kenyan-born Marxist.

And, just to prove how deep that rot goes, the weak, gullible, and mindless people reelected him to a second term, even while they were suffering from all the damage done by his first term. I fear the predictions of America’s end may just becoming true. They said that, while no nation was powerful enough to bring America down, it would be destroyed by it’s own people.

Wasn’t it Ape Lincoln that America would only be destroyed from within by fifth column traitors?

I think ‘Ape’ Lincoln is in the White House right now.

  • What??

considering they were both big spenders. big expanders of government, and defenders of entitlement programs. what are there differences. granted reagan gave the biggest tax cut to millionairs and corporation lowering thier tax rate to 28%, later realising that was too low and raising it to 38%.

  • IslandLifer

A nation, worse yet a world, full of ignorant happy feely people oblivious to reality. How can so many be so blind? As mankind continues to purge God from every corner of the public square the brainwashed will grow larger in numbers.

  • Bo-Jangles

IslandLifer, want to know how people can be so blind? It’s called, “mindless stupidity and a devotion to nothing”. Just ask the Kool-Aid gulper above you Does that pretty much describer you What??

Reagan also deserves special criticism from free marketers on the right for raising the capital gains tax rate — as well as the corporate rate — in the Tax Reform Act of 1986.)

Make no mistake, these were real tax increases — in some cases, “regressive” taxation — but they pale in comparison to the scale of the income tax cuts that defined the Reagan era. Again, it’s important to put things in context. When inaugurated, Reagan inherited a nation with 16 tax brackets — ranging from marginal rates of 14 percent to 70 percent. By 1989, that was down to two brackets — with marginal rates of 15 percent and 28 percent.

    Bo-Jangles, indeed it does.

I’m afraid those words might just prove to be prophetic. This present one is definitely the WORST EVER, and the list of bad presidents is long, led by none other than Jimmy Carter. But even he didn’t hate the country enough to want to hand it over to its enemies.

Whether the election of 2012 was indeed won fair and square or whether it was rigged.. either way, we’re doomed. The demonRATs have figured out how to get enough votes, by hook or by crook, to install even the most traitorous of POS’s in the White House.

    Hillary doesn’t stand a chance in 2016.

The first female President will be a “wise latina” card carrying member of la raza with an axe to grind.

And if you think that’s as bad as it can get, if got news for you for 2024: An out-of-the-closet bearded member of the moslem brotherhood.

Yes, folks, as long as the media keep selling it, the public will keep buying it, no matter how dangerous.

What about Obama? Notice how the debt accelerated during Bush’s last two budget years. Obama’s debt is a continuation of that trend and neither Bush nor Obama are directly responsible for that acceleration.

Try that on your credit card company

    ______
Both presidents relied on budget deficits to stimulate the economy, but the similarities end there. President Reagan’s deficits were much smaller. Deficits during his first term averaged 4.3 percent of gross domestic product (GDP), compared to 9.1 percent of GDP during President Obama’s first term. President Obama’s deficits, which have been twice as large as President Reagan’s were, have produced only one half the reduction in the unemployment rate.

  • Ghost of FA Hayek

That’s less than half the deficit spending as a percentage, and with a much smaller GDP
Raising the debt ceiling with this in mind is useless trivia

AS I’ve said a thousand times, we havent had a president sense Regan. He was our last great politician and once we set into socialism that bush cracked the cap open for and Obamas has been twisting all this time we wont have another chance to get another Regan. Obama deserves treason Gitmo for treason and anyone that voted for him and stands beside him should get the same.
