Insanity Is Unsustainable

Moonbats enjoy barking self-righteously about sustainability. Yet they seem to consider this sustainable:

In 11 different U.S. states, the number of government dependents exceeds the number of private sector workers. This list of states includes some of the biggest states in the country: California, New York, Illinois, Ohio, Maine, Kentucky, South Carolina, Mississippi, Alabama, New Mexico and Hawaii. It is interesting to note that seven of those states were won by Barack Obama on election night. In California, there are 139 “takers” for every 100 private sector workers. … If you can believe it, entitlements accounted for 62 percent of all federal spending in fiscal year 2012.

Consequently,

We are drowning in debt, and we are stealing more than a hundred million more dollars from future generations with each passing hour.

Entitlement spending is worse than waste. A dollar spent on green energy is more or less the same as a dollar used as fireplace kindling. But a dollar spent on welfare makes America $1 weaker by strengthening government dependency and the entitlement mentality at the expense of our most precious and nearly depleted national resource: character.

The only good thing about Obamunism is that nothing so morally and economically insane can possibly last. But the longer it drags on before the inevitable collapse, the harder we will hit the ground.

“at the expense of our most precious and nearly depleted national resource: character”.

And there it is…the true problem.

Probably Dave’s most poignant line this month. SPOT. ON.

And when that character, pride, and dignity is gone? This is what we get:

“American Welfare Chaos: Riots Over Free ObamaHouses”

People like this are just willing livestock. Our Founders weep.

Here’s another way for the elected lying crooks to give the middle finger to the American sheeple.

Surprising to find so many people in Zimbabwe and Nairobi were actually willing to line up for english lessons…

But what does deez an’ duh-utha mean…and what’s that word…sayeh-pho?

Plus more money spent on entitlements will increase the numbers of looters and rioters demanding even more

Our elected overlords are fleecing us. They laugh at us while they enrich themselves and their friends. They throw a few bones to the uniformed underclass to keep them in power.

I mention Nairobi (Kenya) because, understanding that many of these people are from Ofreebie’s birth place, they probably would support him if they lived here.

Imagine if all these people actually moved to the U.S. and they all voted for him – man, we’d be a whole world of sh*t!

    Wait……………?

Politicians are useless, like bad dogs or puppies they need their noses rubbed in their messes to teach them a lesson. Here is a white house petition that should embarrass all of them if it makes the signature threshold, make them live with Obama care like all of us. Here is the link

Please sign it and pass it on to your friends, let’s make a statement. I would love to see Obama have to explain this one

The largest government employer BY FAR is the dept of Defense. The current Reason magazine has the details. YES to entitlement reform. But YES to cutting the horribly wasteful and bloated military/industrial complex. Security thru sound economic policy!

If it were a honest election the vote count would be the same.

That’s only if you don’t count the hundred million plus on the wellfare rolls as “employees”.

The fact of the matter is the “millitary-industrial complex” boogeyman is less than 20% of the Federal budget and its share has been steadily shrinking since the 80′s. And the military is one of the few functions of our government that is legitimately granted in the Constitution.

You could balance the budget by cutting entitlements and still have roughly 30% of current entitlement spending left over. By contrast, you could completely disband the military and it would not even cut our deficit in half. So before we go gutting a legitimate Constitutional function that does not even draw enough funds to make a difference, how about we cut the illegitimate functions that are strangling us to death first?

    __________

    M. Wilson is spot on with his comments. Over half of all government spending goes to Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid. You can literally eliminate all discretionary government spending, including the defense department and still there wouldn’t be enough tax revenue to cover government expendatures.

I will agree to cutting the fat out of defense, but only if we start dropping welfare brood sows on the enemy.
