Ladies, if you were to use a firearm to kill someone who was trying to rape you, wouldn’t you be torn apart by guilt?
No? Good.
If this graphic is on the level, the anticonstitutional Brady Campaign is even more pernicious than I thought. Regardless, a disarmed population is ideal not only for dictators, but for rapists.

I’m an ardent proponent of the right to bear arms and self defense–which does nothing to change the fact that the ad is fake.
SAS sniper Danny Nightingale, released from jail after a court appeal, will mark his 38th birthday today with a meeting with lawyers to discuss the fight to overturn his conviction.
His crime?
He was given a pistol and some ammunition.
He will meet with solicitor Simon McKay and barrister William Clegg QC to discuss the way forward, Mr McKay confirmed.
Mrs Nightingale, 38, cannot make the meeting but today said they are determined to clear his name.
”Let’s hope we can clear Danny’s name and we can move on from this nightmare,” she said.
She previously said: ”He has been used as a scapegoat for a failing system, so why should he have a criminal conviction hanging over him?
”He served the country for 17 years so I think he deserves to have his name cleared.
”It affects the rest of his life, there’s countries that he can’t go to if he has a criminal record, so we need to clear his name.”
Sgt Nightingale was released from military detention on November 30 after three appeal judges overturned his sentence. The move came after a nationwide campaign for the long-serving soldier’s release.
The SAS sniper’s lawyers had argued he pleaded guilty to possessing the Glock 9mm pistol – a gift after he served in Iraq – because he was led to believe he would get a lenient sentence.
In the U.K. it is a crime to simply have a pistol or ammunition. That is where Obama and those who worship him want to take us.

I remember a candidate for TX governor once took this position, well one somewhat like it – he never heard the end of it when he said that once it’s clear you’re going to be raped, you might as well just get through it and move past it. The point apparently being if you’re too resistant you’ll just get beaten up, maybe killed. By the way, that’s his point, not mine. I’m just passing it on, not condoning what he said. So don’t flame me.
SNOPES lists the Brady statement, in response to the ad they’ve now disavowed that is posted to their page as “we are working hard to have it removed”. It takes all of a second to click on the link to remove anything posted to a FACEBOOK page. They’re not working nearly as hard as they claim. They’re probably enjoying the traffic this ad and reports about it drives, since normally they probably get near zero views.
No, the ad is not on their page and never has been. The Brady statement says they are “working to have it removed.” It does not say that they are working to have it removed from their facebook–a claim that would be as absurd as thinking siding against rape victims would be a good way to make a point.

A Georgia mother hid her two 9-year-old twins and shot an intruder, Paul Ali Slater, several times during a home invasion on Friday, according to multiple media reports.
The Loganville mother said she didn’t initially answer when someone knocked on her door around 1 p.m. Friday. When the visitor began repeatedly ringing the doorbell, she called her husband at work, according to the Atlanta Journal Constitution.
He then dialed 911 and his 37-year-old wife gathered their 9-year-old twins and hid them in a crawlspace inside the home.
According to the report, the intruder then forced his way into the home and started “rummaging” through the family’s belongings.
When the suspect went into the closet where the family was hiding ,the woman fired six bullets at the suspect, five of which hit alleged suspect Paul Ali Slater in the face and neck area.

With supply low and demand high, gun owners flocked to the Ontario Convention Center this weekend to stock up on ammunition at the state’s first gun show since a mass shooting at a Newtown, Conn., elementary school reignited the dormant gun control debate and increased sensitivity across the nation to firearms.

“Nationally manufacturers can’t keep up demand for firearms or ammunition,” said Bob Templeton, with Crossroads of the West Gun Shows. “There’s no ammunition at stores, I’m understanding, anyway.”

Yes. Murder DOES last forever. That’s why women should avoid it by shooting rapists early and often. More dead rapists = fewer women murdered by rapists. Killing a rapist is self defense, not murder.

BOTH the Bradys have spoken loudly and often against self-defence, even in cases of rape. “Women’s rights” groups are anti-gun/anti-self defence as well.
The ad above may be faked, but the BRADY message is well known, NOT “baseless”.

The image originated on 4chan’s weapons imageboard, /k/. A great many of vehemently racist, sexist, and belittling images like the one shown above were created and disseminated in order to discredit the Brady Campaign.
They didn’t post it, though; the BC did that itself. Apparently, whoever posts to their FB page thought it was a legitimate image created by their organization.

i found it interesting that when I followed a link to Sarah Brady’s predictably worded essay following Newtown, she had this to say:
“When Jim and I started to work on the Brady Bill, people told us we were crazy, that the NRA couldn’t be defeated. We were fighting conventional wisdom. One possibility is to talk her way out of the situation. Some women have turned a rapist off by saying they were menstruating, pregnant, or had a venereal disease. Others have surprised their attackers with some repulsive physical act such as vomiting, urinating, defecating, belching or fainting.
Behaving in a friendly, solicitous manner and gaining a potential rapist�s confidence has been used successfully by some women. Complimenting him and appearing to go along with his advances will sometimes cause the rapist to relax and perhaps give the woman an opportunity to escape. However, for some rapists, such behavior may be encouraging.
Verbal self defense may be effective with many potential rapists. To succeed in talking one�s way out of a sexual assault, a woman must have confidence in herself and her ability to gain control of a situation. Often though, a woman does not have the opportunity to use her verbal skills or she finds that words have not worked in dissuading the rapist.
Physical self defense is an option with which some women may never feel comfortable. Electing to submit to a rapist, rather than risk injury or even death is a legitimate choice. Females have been taught from birth not to fight or even rough house, and therefore, find physical resistance impossible.
If a woman chooses to defend herself by force, she must be certain that she can hurt a man badly enough to stop him�merely inflicting pain is not sufficient. The nose, eyes, and throat are particularly vulnerable and susceptible to pain, whereas striking a man on the arm or head is virtually useless. Self defense classes teach people to use the weapons that are at their disposal always�their hands and feet, and of course, their voices. Women who carry cans of mace or sharp objects do not always have them available when they are needed. Self defense and martial arts classes increase one�s self confidence as well as one�s ability to defend oneself, and women should consider enrolling in such a course.
Children and adults of all ages need to be taught to feel positive about themselves. A positive self image will go a long way in helping a person defend herself against a sexual assault.

This vermin person sounds like he’s running damage control for the Brady Campaign. If any of you bothered to read to the bottom of the snoopes article it cites the Brady Campaign as the only source being able to deny it. I’ve seen a few tweets about it in the past week, even a few claiming to have seen it the day it was put up to the facebook page.
That’s funny – Snopes says that this is a fake, yet Obama’s on-line birth certificate is real. Sure. Snopes is always going to say what the left wants to say, there is no credibility to it.
Good Lord. Go read some of my past posts. I’m as outspoken an advocate as firearms ownership as you’ll find.
