Separated at Birth?
Buffalo Bob must have carried a one-gun instead of a six-gun. Otherwise, gun-grabbing Connecticut State Senator Ed Meyer — who has proposed legislation limiting firearms to a single round — would never have consented to sit on his lap.

Come on—Howdy had red hair! Of course, I didn’t learn that until much later in life. Our 17″ Philco was black and white. Didn’t see a color TV until years after Howdy was off the air.
Howdy’s brain was much bigger than the dummy in the right hand picture.
Also, in the picture on the right notice that he has a typical phoney politician grin. The lips may be pulled back in a sort of rictus that can resemble a grimace-like smile, but cover that up and look at the eyes. No trace of a smile there, but an evil, calculating stare through which you can see right through to where a soul would be–if he had one.
Considering Meyer has only one synapse, it figures he can’t contemplate (or accept) guns having more than one bullet at a time.
Synaptic overload.
Yet one more politician of small caliber and immense bore — shooting intellectual blanks.

In Senator Ed Meyers case, God helped by making an idiot look like an idiot. In most cases they are disguised.

Howdy would never take Meyer’s position. Note Howdy’s cowboy garb.
What good would limiting firearms to a single round do given we already know that even unloaded guns are dangerous? “There’s been a lot of people that have been shot by an unloaded gun.”
Politicians and their bodyguards, of course, will be exempted from this law, now won’t they, Governor?
