Irresponsible Show of Force Over Downtown Miami

Jokes about black helicopters have become less funny in light of the government terrifying citizens in downtown Miami by roaring through in Blackhawks firing blanks from machine guns:

Whether the authorities are trying to scare us, whether they are gearing up for the civil war Obama appears determined to provoke, or whether they are just too dumb to understand this was a bad idea, we are reminded once again that they hold more power than it would be wise to trust them with.

On tips from Wiggins, G. Fox, and code3.

Is the govorment sure these pilots will use real ammo for indescrimate slaughter?
Well there be a reaction from a military armed with the abilty to down these murders?
If the most effective use is in urban areas, then they are slaughtering their base especially the blacks.

  • Skyfall

That’s called a “shot across the bow”. You can’t say they’re not giving us plenty of warning.

…and NOW you know why Obama and the leftists are in such a frenzy to make sure you don’t have a weapon that can fire more than one round before re-loading.

  • StanInTexas

Remember when the Obama Administration sent Air Force One to fly low over New York for Photo Ops? These people care nothing the public. NOTHING!

  • Buffalobob

Who authorized this and who thought this was a good idea? I see government officials resigning or being placed on paid vacation until they are assigned to a better or higher paying gov. job.

I’d suggest the purpose is twofold:

    1. To desensitise the public to the presence of military on and over the streets of urban areas.

    2. To desensitize the troops to discharging their weapons in urban areas in the presence of unaware and unarmed citizens (subjects).

All part of preparing for marshall law and civil war.

Okay…I can completely understand Law Enforcement doing a drill in the city with coordination from the Military. To me, that’s perfectly fine. For years I have gotten used to military helicopters flying around over the local roads and highways. Where it is NOT okay, and borders on scary, is the fact that these helicopters are FIRING ROUNDS. It doesn’t matter if they’re blanks…they are still exploding and the brass still has to fall somewhere. This is too much.

Davis has it in a nutshell: desensitization, for both troops and civilians.

I would only add that it’s a warning. The message that “we are in control, and will back it up with force” has not been lost. Not on me, and I suspect not on many here at MB.

It was to demonstrate just what your place is, Subjugate.

  • justme

Desensitization has been ongoing since 2001. The first time I saw heavily armed police patrolling the Charleston Airport at the opening of the Afghan War, I was in disbelief. When it became an every day occurrence with NYPD who are known to kill innocents and fire wantonly into crowds patrolling the streets of NY, the subways and even Grand Central Station, it was obvious what was coming. There is no excuse for Machine Gun Kelly’s and The Queen Mayor’s “Sixth Largest Army in the World” to be walking around with machine guns and body armor. For one, judging by their record of shooting unarmed citizens with upwards of 50 shots from handguns, the argument for them never having access to assault weapons can be made – Two, What good will any cop with a machine gun do in the event of a suicide bomber? Robo-Kelly’s tin soldiers firing 100+ rounds into a crowd at Grand Central Station will only kill more Americans than a terrorist.

12 years on now, and a Dictatorship in the making, the next phase is about to begin in earnest.

I’m surprised that a lot of gun owners, not realizing the helicopters were firing blanks, didn’t return fire.

Same thing going on in Houston:

Army training exercise happening on Houston’s south side

    http://abclocal.go.com/ktrk/story?section=news/local&id=8971311

This thing’s Fing MASSIVE. Multiple helicopters.. I even saw foot soldiers with RPGs.

I just can’t get the sound to work on the footage, but it’s IMPRESSIVE.

Kinda makes you wonder.. if they can do it in Miami and Houston and God knows where else.. why can’t they do it AT THE BORDER where it’s NEEDED?

    .

About 10 minutes into this thing and it’s beginning to look like a gun confiscation drill.

Who cares about this. Its only a drill. Its for our own good. The important thing is, did the heat win?

So in other words, if you hear gun shots, just keep walking. If you get shot, “What difference does it make!?”

After 26 years in the military, much of it in combat, my only question is: What the HELL are they doing this for?

  • Sam

It’s a message job. However, these same dipshit commanders can’t defeat a bunch of seventh century goatfuckers in irregular warfare. What the fuck are they going to do with pissed off Americans and dismissed military personnel?

D#mned if you do and dmned if you don’t.

On the one hand, nobody wants to see their military training because it’s somehow ‘provacative’…….on the other hand, if we get attacked and need a military response, everybody will say, “well, why weren’t they prepared?”

Quite frankly, I’m getting sick of this nonsense. Not long ago, on these very pages there was a post saying that, ‘martial law was coming’ because a Guard unit in the Midwest was driving their vehicles on public roads.

This Alex Jones (Should Be In) Prison Planet nonsense is just that – nonsense. What WASN’T nonsense was the threat on Jones’ site that if National Guard MPs were used to quell civil unrest, that they’d be killed and thier dog tags used to find and murder their families. Alex Jones and any of those freaked-out conspiracy nuts can kiss my a##. F#CK THEM.

It’s nuts like that who would like to go house to house asking who’s a “Real Patriot” – the fascism they’re pushing is even worse than the neocommunist pseudoprogressive socialism that’s a more iminent threat. These whack-jobs are one of the many good reasons I am armed.

The people pushing this bulls#it are not “patriots” – they are paranoid lunatics.

I love my country and believe that the principles upon which we were founded were truly “exceptional”. I also realize that we have a government (my “government” being the paid help we hire to run our country) made up of people…….and people are fallible at best and evil at worst, and we are seeing evidence of that now………….but this sure ain’t it.

Conspiracy theorists say the helicopters are black because all insignias are removed so no one knows they are government helicopters.

Marine Corps helicopters are painted very dark olive, and all its insignias are black. We stopped putting red-white-and-blue bulls-eyes on our military aircraft sometime during the Korean War.

Almost all official military helicopters look black at a distance.

  • Skyfall

TonyD, so you’re sick and tired? Well gee whiz, we’re all real sorry about that. It’s happening right in front of your eyes, and you’re still cutting them slack. Wasn’t it you that insisted those were just “glider clubs” while Luftwaffe pilots were training in a “demilitarized” Deutchland?

In your world, it’s just a necessary “training” exercise when unannounced military choppers FIRING THEIR MACHINE GUNS fly over a major city, strafing traffic and scaring the hell out of citizens (listen to the guy video taping). OK, sure.

Seems to me if they do this enough, people will start to accept it. Then…one day…when Mr. Obama is “sick and tired” of waiting, those blanks will be replaced with live ammo, but no one will flinch until they’re turned into a wad of hamburger and bone-chips.

Note to government: if military helicopters fly over our houses with machine guns firing, some of us will return fire with those guns you say we don’t need for hunting.

  • whotothewhat

I wonder what would have happen if someone decided to take a pot shot at one of those helicopters?

The main goal for this so called exercise is to condition the Sheeple to the wolves in their midst.

There is no need for the military train this way. They have entire military ranges with mock towns to train in. This is done to be used as a WOW factor (Like how cool was that!) And to, like stated before to condition us.

  • M.Wilson

There’s no problem with training, but we have MOUT sites for a reason. For those not fluent in acronym, that stands for Military Operations in Urban Terrain. In other words, fake cities set up so they can do exercises just like this without scaring the pants off thousands of civilians.

If they really feel like their MOUT site isn’t “authentic” enough, then why don’t they go on down to some border town and scare some undocumented democrats back across the Rio Grande?

Even if it’s just an exercise, you shouldn’t be using major cities as MOUT sites and you certainly shouldn’t use unsuspecting civilians as OPFOR.

No, I just take offense when a conspiracy theorist whacko like Alex Jones threatens me and mine, and threatens our families. If you want to side with him, go ahead.

If YOUR eyes want to “SEE” nonsense such as “shackles” in railcars designed for carrying automobiles, or “20,000 Spetznaz troopers waiting to strike”, be my guest. It’s a free country – you can be nuts if you want – just don’t threaten the rest of us.

SkyFail goes on with this cryptic nonsense: “Wasn’t it you that insisted those were just “glider clubs” while Luftwaffe pilots were training in a “demilitarized” Deutchland?”

Like that’s even relevant. The Glider Clubs and even Lufthansa were used so that Germany could train pilots and rebuild it’s air force in Saddam-like opposition to world sanctions. To compare that to a training exercise that (inexplicably) not very many citizens even noticed is intellectually dishonest, at best.

Now, if you’ll excuse me, our neighbors in the Delaware Air National Guard just overflew our house with a C-130…….and…..it’s in the traffic pattern at KILG, and……OMG, IT’S COMING BACK!!!!!!!

    Grab your tinfoil hats everybody!!!!!

    Shame on all of ya.
