Here to Stay

America was founded on Christianity. Imam Hussein Obama’s claim that this is no longer a Christian nation notwithstanding, Christianity is here to stay. Wild Bill for America attests:

On a tip from The Only Other Conservative in Seattle.

That’s right. And you can call me hateful all day long because I hate liberals and I hate faggots.

  • Mr Evilwrench

I’m not a believer. I have no faith. I have come to largely the same conclusions, though. I’m definitely not a proselytizing atheist. I stand with the Christians. The political winds don’t even have to get ugly.

  • Sir Budly Millertime III

Wild Billy seems to think atheists are the only group Christians should be focusing on. Isn’t he missing a couple of the other usual suspect groups?

No more UN no more american troops as UN Peacekeepers bring them all home to guard our borders and keep the peace here

We have been involved in a religious war with radical Islam for a long time. Ever since the first terrorist attack on us. Yet, most of the American sheeple are still not aware of that fact, thanks to “our” govt.

America has a history of being the last party to find out that someone is at war with us. Maybe we’ll catch on someday, assuming we last that long.

Not a “Christian” nation. Just isn’t. Freedom of religion, remember? “[N]o man shall be compelled to frequent or support any religious worship, place, or ministry whatsoever, nor shall be enforced, restrained, molested, or burthened in his body or goods, nor shall otherwise suffer, on account of his religious opinions or belief; but that all men shall be free to profess, and by argument to maintain, their opinions in matters of religion, and that the same shall in no wise diminish, enlarge, or affect their civil capacities.” (Yeah… Thomas Jefferson)

So… where do we go from there?

The number of Americans who do not identify with any religion continues to grow at a rapid pace. One-fifth of the U.S. public – and a third of adults under 30 – are religiously unaffiliated today, the highest percentages ever in Pew Research Center polling.
In the last five years alone, the unaffiliated have increased from just over 15% to just under 20% of all U.S. adults. Their ranks now include more than 13 million self-described atheists and agnostics (nearly 6% of the U.S. public), as well as nearly 33 million people who say they have no particular religious affiliation (14%).

And still we grow. The odds that somehow a large cohort of people in the under-60 segment is likely to suddenly cry off science and thinking, and embrace angry jesus-based stupidity? Zero. All we have to do is… wait for the rest of you to die. My generation, and the ones coming after me, have already decided this for you. The Jesus-is-magic subset is dying off.

Way to be behind history, always, in all things.

A bad rose bush bears a bad rose – by any other name:

33 “Make a tree good and its fruit will be good, or make a tree bad and its fruit will be bad, for a tree is recognized by its fruit. 34 You brood of vipers, how can you who are evil say anything good? For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of. 35 A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in him, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in him. 36 But I tell you that everyone will have to give account on the day of judgment for every empty word they have spoken. 37 For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned.”

    Matthew 12

HAHAHAHA awesome. Quote from the Book of Jewish Fairytales. That’ll alter the ‘facts’ and ‘knowledge’ and ‘historical trends’…

    Just keep aging, Jodie.

Don’t kid yourself, oh thorny one. There will come a day, when your smug arrogance will catch up with you.

    “And the door was shut.

11 “Later the others also came. ‘Lord, Lord,’ they said, ‘open the door for us!’

12 “But he replied, ‘Truly I tell you, I don’t know you.’”

    Matthew 25

    HAHAHA sooo cute.

You know, Odin won’t let you into Valhalla if you don’t believe in him. And something about a flying spaghetti monster.

Riiiight. Magic-sky-father is coming to get you!
