Anti-Gun Educrats Gone Wild

An essential item on liberals’ agenda is to condition the next generation to regard firearms in the hands of private citizens with hysterical horror. Consequently, the insanity (e.g., see here and here and here and here and here and here and here) continues.

In Florence, Arizona:

Daniel McClaine Jr., a freshman at Poston Butte High School, said he saved the picture as his desktop background on his school-issued computer.

A teacher noticed it and turned him in.

The picture shows an AK-47 on top of a flag.

McClaine said the school initially suspended him for three days Friday.

Since the laptop belongs to the school, the district policy states students are prohibited from “sending or displaying offensive messages or pictures,” and cannot access, send, create or forward pictures that are considered “harassing, threatening, or illegal.” …

McClaine said the gun is not his. He’s interested in joining the military and said he found it on the internet.

It’s nice to see teachers are instilling respect for the First as well as the Second Amendment.

In Loveland, Colorado:

A 2nd grader has been suspended from school in Loveland for a make believe game he was playing.

The 7-year-old says he was trying to save the world. … He was playing a game during recess at Loveland’s Mary Blair Elementary School and threw an imaginary grenade into a box with pretend evil forces inside.

“I pretended the box, there’s something shaking in it, and I go ‘pshhh.’”

The boy didn’t throw anything real or make any threats against anyone. He explains he was pretending to be the hero. “So nothing can get out and destroy the world.”

But his imaginary play broke the school’s real rules. The school lists “absolutes” designed to keep a safe environment. The list includes absolutely no fighting, real or imaginary; no weapons, real or imaginary.

Alex will be rescuing the world at home until the kerfuffle is “worked out.” If only imaginary grenades could rescue it from absolutist moonbats.

In Alexandria, Virginia:

A 10-year-old Alexandria boy was arrested after police said he brought a toy handgun to school on Tuesday, a day after he showed it to others on a school bus.

The boy, a fifth-grader at Douglas MacArthur Elementary School whose name is not being released, was charged as a juvenile with brandishing a weapon, police said.

He was also suspended from school, and Alexandria City Public Schools Superintendent Morton Sherman said further action is being considered, including expulsion.

The kid did not even point the toy at anyone or threaten to open fire with it. Its orange tip should have clued in even the most obtuse apparatchik that it was not real.

The lunatic authorities actually transported him to a juvenile detention center after the toy was discovered in his backpack.

The irony of this occurring at a school named after a general who directed American soldiers in combat against authoritarians was no doubt lost on the idiots responsible for traumatizing the child.

Douglas MacArthur
Possibly up there wondering why he bothered.

There must be a reason for sending your kids to public school. I just can’t think of any.

  • Bloodless Coup

Man I’m glad I’m not kid growing up these days
I might be serving a life sentence for playing cops & robbers on the play ground.

Why are they trying to turn our kids into pansies?

  • justme

Now if these children were “playing” willing NAMBLA participants, none of this would have happened. The Left doesn’t want heroes, victims yes…

Playing with toy guns is evil, looking at pictures of guns evil – going “pssssh” terrible, child molestation OKAY- What’s wrong with you people? Didn’t you get the memo?

The publik schools will need more straw for all the basket cases they are creating.

  • hiram

    Bloodless, no kidding.

In the summertime, we used to have DAILY water-pistol wars on the playground. The teachers used to bring out the buckets for us.

    I mean, sheesh.

They don’t call it the Nanny State for nothing.

Women are largely in control of our public school system. They don’t believe that there is a place for violence and conflict in society. They are joined by the homosexuals who believe they were bullied all their lives, and we should just breed that tendency out of people.

Football is the only game that remains where boys don’t have to “play nice.” That, too, will change.

MacArthur was a political tool. If he were alive today, he’d be someone like Al Gore, or perhaps John Kerry.

He was a man of his era, and his era had far more nobility than ours. Framed in his era, however, he doesn’t come across as a lover of the Constitution. He was kept in the South Pacific because he posed a political threat to FDR, not because he was talented or loyal. He’s the SOB who gave LBJ a Silver Star – a SILVER STAR – for riding in a bomber where Japanese planes were seen in the distance.

Sorry, MacArthur wouldn’t ask “what did I fight for,” he’d ask “how can I get a piece of the action?”

I take your point, but there are better choices.

  • Clingtomyguns

Thank God I grew up in a time when playing cowboys and indians with neighborhood kids with plenty of cap guns, tomahawks, bows and arrows, climbing fences, raiding forts, smoke bombs, minibikes, go carts, and the like were still the norm.

Kid’s play will imitate what they see a the movies and that includes actinglike action heroes, GI Joe, etc. Even Buzz lightyear had a laser gun and was going to save the world. If the educrats don’t like what kids want to play they should protest Hollywood movies and tv shoes.

Liberal educrats will be satisfied only when their politically correct make-believe utopia pansy world of my little pony subservient metrosexual males who sing songs led by liberal teachers about Barack Obama, go camping with their flamingly gay scoutmasters, hide under their desk with a pair of safety scissors when trouble comes, ride girl’s bikes and can’t shoot skeet worth a damn comes to fruition.

“Brainwashing” is not hyperbole when it comes to describing the marxist dominated education system in America. Break the government school monoply by instituting vouchers or watch the produciton of another generation of liberal zombies.

The little boy should have told them he was throwing condoms and glitter at imaginary unicorns so they could have safe sex. They would have made him “student of the month” or something.

  • Doug

I can tell you this, that if we were all speaking German right now instead of English, liberal pansies would all be lined up and shot.

    Bloodless Coup says:
“Why are they trying to turn our kids into pansies?”

The short answer is, yes. It’s just another part of the plan to feminize (see: weaken) the American male. Whether it’s making TV commercials that always make men look like fools, or putting queers in foxholes, or trying to convince our society that homosexuality is normal, the far-left is pushing harder now that ever before. They plan to take full advantage of the fact that the Marxist-in-Chief and his radical leftist supporters have complete control of the country. Note how every whim the left has had for decades is now being pushed on us from many different angles, and at the same time. They are going for broke.

    RE: Dr9
That’s why I’m very stern when talking to the younger generation. In my world there are no sissies. There is no phrase “but I can’t”. There is NO sniveling! Boys don’t act like girls and if they do they are called faggots. It’s like I’m fighting an uphill battle and I’ve pissed off plenty folks but I sleep well at night. I’ll never allow that weak liberal mindset anywhere near me and I’ll do so until my times up. I just wish there were more outspoken people like me where I live instead of keeping quiet in fear of upsetting someone. Two words for them…MAN UP!!!

  • Jimbo

Being more stupid than a stinking liberal is totally impossible. Liberals are against moral law, natural law, physical law, and social law. By all normal reasoning, liberals SHOULD be extinct.

This Bullshyte makes my blood boil..its bad enough to turn boys into little Pansies, but these gun Haters take the Cake! Finger Guns and Paper Cut outs are now regarded as Weapons, What a Bunch of Insane Cowards! R/O

I’ve been reading about all the recent school suspensions of Kindergarteners over this stuff and felt inspired to write a post ( http://odop.ethran.com/mass-hysteria-obliterates-another-childs-innocence/ ) where I expressed my fear that *my* child who likes to be a super hero might face the same treatment.
Little did I know that my fears would become the reality for another parent. Insane.

@SamAdams — A total preponderant as to why anyone would send their kids to public school. If Patriots want the public schools back in American Hands we need to cut off the funds going into the usurping education machine. It really is very simple. Just say, “no” and Just “do”. Monday, teachers should show up to classrooms at least half empty and stay that way until the Beast dies and gets buried; nah, let’s go for burned alive. If anyone, and this is hard, straight talk, if anyone is sending there kids to public school but is a Patriot, you are not prepared to stand up to the Regime over the gun control issue; you won’t protect your own children so how are you going to have any Patriots back in this idealogical fight? Posting all over the net and facebook cute little pro-gun posters and going out and purchasing a gun is all wasted. Your intestinal fortitude is lacking. If you can’t even take your kid out of school NOW, when it is inconvenient and are worried how he will learn, you are no where prepared to jump on Patrick Henry’s bandwagon. Quit worring about education and how you are going to teach the kid. This IS NOT about educating your child; it is about saving your child — his mind — his soul — his whole being. Worry about education later. Invest in your child, not in the Antagonist’s educational system which breeds their educational goals. Save your kids first. Then come help save the country. Where are your kids gonna be come Monday Morning?

…if they send you to jail for imaginary assault,
how much worse would it be to be charged with ….
well ,all in or go home

  • figment

    it’s simple.

these kids have a “record” when they are old enough to buy firearms for themselves they will not pass the background check.

Any other reason to arrest them? I mean really. Taking a toy gun to school warrants arrest? how about arresting – I dont know-, people selling weapons to mexican drug cartels or something…
