The cost of college education is the one thing exploding as quickly as the size of government. A degree from an Ivy League school can leave a student in debt for a lifetime. Yet students aren’t getting anything more for the money — unless you count sick lunacy like this:
Beginning in August, Brown’s student health insurance plan will pay for more than a dozen different sexual reassignment surgery procedures, including scrotoplasty, labiaplasty, clitoroplasty and placement of testicular prostheses, reports The Brown Daily Herald. …
The total cost for a single sexual reassignment surgery, including hormone therapy and various other physical alterations, can be as much as $50,000.
The newly-covered sexual reassignment procedures are “very standard and very comprehensive,” Kelly Garrett, Brown’s LGBTQ Center coordinator, told The Herald.
LGBTQ stands for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer/questioning. Recent college graduates would already know that, even if many couldn’t tell the Bill of Rights from the Ten Commandments or find Texas on a map.
Ms. Garrett frets that some people may not have the money to become chemosurgically transmogrified into grotesque sexual freaks. By forcing others to pay for it, these horrific procedures will be encouraged. According to her bizarre ideology, this will prevent the mentally ill from having to “face discrimination.”
It isn’t just Brown:
Other schools that offer sex change insurance include Cornell University, Harvard University, Stanford University and the University of Pennsylvania.
Tuition at these schools ranges from exorbitant to astronomical.
The choice used to be guns or butter. Now it’s education or sex change procedures. Our ruling class opts for the latter.
