After watching the Marxist-in-Chief put on his show, (a.k.a. SOTU speech) we should all rest easy because he said the state of our union is, strong! He must’ve been talking about all those labor unions that support him. Listening to him, you would think our national deficit is about $150.00.

He also said all out energy bills are lower! Maybe i should send him my electric bill, or ask him why i paid $4.19 for a gallon of 89 oct. gas today. Is $4.19 lower than the $1.87 a gal. i was paying the year he was first elected?

I came away from that sham show knowing two things.
    a) he is a devoted tool of Cloward & Pivan.
    b) and, we are FCUKED!

With all of Bathhouse barrys talk about amnesty and how the illegal crossings are down on the southern border, here’s the topic of conversation south of the border.

Mexico City. – Given the increased flow of Mexicans in the northern border because of the immigration reform announced by the government of the United States, Senator PRD Barrales Alejandra Magdaleno, request the Federal Executive a report of the measures are implemented to ensure respect for their rights and safety at crossings on the northern border.

He said that this concern will be exhibiting at the workshop that will hold tomorrow the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the Senate with Foreign Minister Jose Antonio Meade Kuribreña.

He said that it is urgent to report how they support the Mexican community in the neighboring country as well as actions to ensure the safety of our fellow citizens on the northern border.

Member of the Executive Council of the Covenant by Mexico, Senator Barrales subject said about the scope of immigration reform in the United States is positive that the issue is on the agenda of both countries, but stressed that today most is important to protect the safety of our fellow citizens in the border between the two nations.

    More gay tolerance:

    The thought crime:

Card, who is Mormon, is also an opponent of same-sex marriage. He once called gay marriage the end of democracy in America.

He once wrote that “the left is at war with the family” and suggested gays could change.

The punishment: straight (no pun intended) out of the Chicago politics /Rev. Jesse/Rev. Al playbook:

Thousands have signed a petition at Allout.org calling for DC Comics to fire Card – and if they don’t – the comic book publisher could face a boycott.

For the time being, at least the employer isn’t grovelling to the feet of the queer mafia, and knuckling under: A DC Comics spokesperson released a statement to Fox News defending Card.

    http://radio.foxnews.com/toddstarnes/top-stories/dc-comics-faces-boycott-over-anti-gay-superman-writer.html

The And so goes diversity of opinion in the era of hope and change. Once they’re done wearing down the scouts and any other decent organizations, they will not rest and America’s deception and embrace of sin will not end with government-mandated normalization of homosexuality. A recent article in a U.K. newspaper, The Guardian, suggested that pedophilia is not harmful to kids. Rest assured: this evil deception is coming to America. Liberals will embrace it. Will Christians say, Oh well…God is love?

Obama vows he “will not rest until anyone can find a good job” then goes on vacation for 57 days.

(He was the ultimate egomaniac and he weakly and cowardly shot himself)

When I was LAPD I worked with an extremely intelligent black cop who was very articulate, who handled every situation with aplomb, and who wrote very impressive crime and arrest reports.

He was very respectful to everyone. But he got very pissed when he encountered criminal blacks whose actions disgraced the black community, the black church and family, or undermined the great progress blacks had made by the (then) mid-sixties.

He understood the headwind blacks were facing and he loved his race.

So…no one could hold a candle to him when it came to using the word nigger.

Though my mother warned me she would wash my mouth out with soap if I used the word when I was a child, today I use it with abandon.

A nigger is a nigger, but the wonderful black folks who love God and struggle to make a living and raise their family, are, in the most simplest of terms, God’s kids.

I love it when some moonbats cause other moonbats to see the error of their ways – assuming that’s how this eventually turns out, anyway!

Lehigh University student sues over grade, seeks $1.3 million

Orloski (plaintiff’s attorney) also alleged that Carr (teacher who gave the grade) was biased against Thode (student who sued because she got a grade which sounds like it was much more generous than it should have been) because Thode advocated for gay and lesbian rights.

“I think if your honor changed the grade, you’d be the first court in the history of jurisprudence to change an academic grade,” Hamburg (defendant’s attorney) told Giordano (judge hearing case).

“I’ve practiced law for longer than I’d like to [admit],” Giordano said, “and I’ve never seen something like this.”

Supposedly the school may be on the verge of capitulating, as moonbats often do.

  • Bob Roberts

Oh I left this bit out:

After getting the C+, Thode unsuccessfully filed internal grievances over the grade, showed up for meetings with her father, and insisted that Carr give her a written apology and a “plan for compensating me financially,” Sacks said.

With Thode on the witness stand Monday, Sacks underscored that Lehigh paid Thode’s freight — not just as a graduate student, but as an undergraduate at York College of Pennsylvania — because her father is a professor. Sacks also said the university set her up with jobs over the course of her attendance.

“Even after you sued Lehigh, you were getting free tuition and working for Lehigh?” Sacks asked.

    “Yes,” Thode acknowledged.

Thode ended up graduating from Lehigh with a master’s degree in human development — which is also offered through the College of Education — and now works as a drug-and-alcohol counselor.

  • Bob Roberts

    And this bit:

Thode, 27, of Nazareth, was enrolled in the College of Education in her second and final year of a master’s in counseling and human services. She needed a B to take the next course of her field work requirement.

Orloski said she would have received that grade but for the zero in classroom participation that she was awarded by her teacher, Amanda Carr. Orloski charged that Carr and Nicholas Ladany — the then-director of the degree program — conspired to hold Thode back because they were unhappy that she’d complained after she and three other students were forced to find a supplemental internship partway through the semester.

Either those numbers are reversed, or something supernatural is heading us to a wakeup call.

I agree the country needs a wakeupcall – in dire need of a spiritual revival.

“Broadmindedness, when it means indifference to right and wrong, eventually ends in a hatred of what is right.”
― Fulton J. Sheen, Life of Christ

“The world is in greater peril from those who tolerate or encourage evil than from those who actually commit it.”
    ― Albert Einstein

Since the world is Satan’s kingdom, it only makes sense that he would convince people they should tolerate what God does not. What does not make sense, as you point out, is that people who claim to be Christians are adopting this idea of tolerance. Not too long ago, the verse most believers knew and quoted was, For God so loved the world …. Today, the verse which is most misquoted is, judge not lest you be judged. A text without a context is a pretext—the primary exegetical fault leading to misinterpretation is neglecting to read closely the surrounding section of a key verse.

Jesus follows up his warning with a condemnation of hypocrisy, not judgment. Jesus’ counsel is to tend to our own behavior and attitudes before attempting to help anyone else. If we attempt to judge before doing so, our judgment will be flawed by our own “splinters.” But the passage is in no way forbidding judgment. On the contrary, it asserts that judgment, like charity, begins at home.

The multicultural and diversity movement has twisted many otherwise Christian minds into a false and indeed sinful and unbiblical toleration of evil. The gay mafia and mainstream media is going full bore to perpetuate this lie, and to corrupt every remaining vestiage of decency and morality. Socialists are giddy about this since destruction of morality and family are two obstacles to their obtaining their reign.

  • Skyfall

Well said and spot-on, Cling! We are “tolerating” ourselves into damnation. Strangely (or strange that no one notices), the accusers, those that point and shout and endlessly charge us with being intolerant and cruel are the least tolerant, least charitable people of all. I can almost hear them screaming “GIVE US BARABBAS!”

Did anyone see the Luntz focus group on Fox tonight? About 50 people, Dems, Repubs and Indies. THEY ALL THOUGHT OBAMA’S SPEECH WAS WONDERFUL. Oh, some disagreed with what he said, but to a person they thought he was terrific.

Obama holds a supernatural power over almost everyone that hears him. The press is his personal mouthpiece and will never let anything sully his image of perfection. Schools from kindergarten to university are lauding him and teaching his will. He even made a not-so veiled threat tonight: “Congress does what I want, or I’ll sign an order making it so.”

I don’t know if it’s possible to reach people except on a personal basis now…one on one. Even then it may be too late. Obama, of course, will ultimately lose, but he will take many down with him.

    These are historic times indeed.

How absurd is it to have a state licensing program based upon some grade that you received in a specific class?

We license engineers based upon their ability to pass a very comprehensive test, after working under other engineers for several years. If a professional engineer makes a mistake, your house, or some bridge might fall down.

There’s nothing “supernatural” about it. All it takes is a few gay friendly billionaires to threaten, twist the arms of, and pay off key politicians to vote for the gay agenda. IOWs it’s known as lobbying.

    =====

    pull quote:

“In 1982, when New York City mayor Edward I. Koch battled Mario Cuomo for the Democratic nomination for governor, there was a rude slogan, “Vote for Cuomo, not the homo.” And now, 29 years later, the son and successor of the “non-homo,” an Italian and nominal Catholic, has pushed through the atrocity of homosexual “marriage” in New York State.

The article itself is a fawning portrayal of Cuomo, telling how he “used the force of his personality and relentlessly strategic mind” to win support for the measure. It also tells how rich Republican donors, several of them Jews, allied with Cuomo and gave huge sums to pay for the lobbying campaign that led to the homosexualist victory. And it tells how several legislators, both Democrats and Republicans, who had opposed homosexual “marriage” two years ago changed the minds—for the most insubstantial and personal reasons.

Let’s also remember that Cuomo was strongly supported for governor last fall by the “conservative” New York Post.”

“Sorry, the world isn’t Satan’s kingdom.

The earth’s is the Lord’s, and the fullness thereof.

We have an obligation to both fight for the Lord, in part to defend his Kingdom, as well as to bring to pass his will. I will not cede ownership of the Earth to Satan.”

Sam, I respectfully suggest that you are conflating that we shouldn’t cede authority to Satan, and strap on the armour and rebuke and fight “against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world,” with the biblical truth that Satan has in fact been allowed power over this world as it exists now and that he is actively devouring the worldly and unbelievers who reject the Good News.

This is not to say that he rules the world completely; God is still sovereign. But it does mean that God, in His infinite wisdom, has allowed Satan to operate in this world within the boundaries God has set for him. When the Bible says Satan has power over the world, we must remember that God has given him domain over unbelievers only. Believers are no longer under the rule of Satan (Colossians 1:13). Unbelievers, on the other hand, are caught “in the snare of the devil” (2 Timothy 2:26), lie in the “power of the evil one” (1 John 5:19), and are in bondage to Satan (Ephesians 2:2).

So, when the Bible says that Satan is the “god of this world,” it is not saying that he has ultimate authority. It is conveying the idea that Satan rules over the unbelieving world in a specific way. In 2 Corinthians 4:4, the unbeliever follows Satan’s agenda: “The god of this world has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ.” Satan’s scheme includes promoting false philosophies in the world—philosophies that blind the unbeliever to the truth of the Gospel.

My earlier point in response to Alpha is that the pop culture’s rotten idea that tolerance of everything, including sin, is a virtue is one such false world philosophies that blind the unbeliever. In fact, the gay mafia’s rise to force their agenda, in spite of being only 1% of the population, is prima facie proof of the supernatural force, in this case the demonic force, that that is blinding so many people today.

Satan’s philosophies are the fortresses in which people are imprisoned, and their only hope is to be set free in Christ.

Matthew 4:8 Again, the devil took Him up on an exceedingly high mountain, and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. 9 And he said to Him, “All these things I will give You if You will fall down and worship me.” 10 Then Jesus said to him, “Away with you, Satan! For it is written, “You shall worship the LORD your God, and Him only you shall serve.”‘ 11 Then the devil left Him, and behold, angels came and ministered to Him. NKJV

Christ also knew that by obeying God instead of Satan, he would qualify to dethrone Satan at his return in power and glory. Overcoming Satan’s temptations were necessary so mankind could achieve its true destiny.

Ephesians 6:11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. KJV

1 Peter 5:8 Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. 9 Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that your brothers throughout the world are undergoing the same kind of sufferings. NIV

I think we agree that speaking up in resisting the evil forces who have free reign in this world, a large number of whom are moonbats, is one way of standing firm in the faith.

  • Sam Adams

Clingtomyguns, you make several good points. However, just to stir things up a bit, may I challenge a couple of points that you make (I’m just messing with you…no harm intended.)

Now we have President YDBT. He claims to be a believer. He claims to be a Christian. Former Speaker “We have to pass the bill to know what’s in the bill” also claims to be a Christian.

Are these two no longer under the rule of Satan?

I don’t know if Nancy at one time was a believer, and then just fell away, or if that is even possible.

Yes, and we “shall know them by their fruits.” Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? Matthew 7:16 – Fruits, in the Scripture and Jewish phraseology, are taken for works of any kind. “A man’s works,” says one, “are the tongue of his heart, and tell honestly whether he is inwardly corrupt or pure.” By these works you may distinguish these ravenous wolves from true pastors. The judgment formed of a man by his general conduct is a safe one: if the judgment be not favorable to the person, that is his fault, as you have your opinion of him from his works, i.e. the confession of his own heart.

Let me ask you, what does it say about a person claiming to be a Christian who says “We have to pass the bill to know what {fruits} are in the bill.”? Are Obama’s and Pelousy’s tongues geared toward Christ, or towards the father of all lies?

A moonbat, as usual, tries to demonize the honest and canonize the evil:

Illegal immigrant tells Congress not to call him illegal

Jose Antonio Vargas, an illegal immigrant and former reporter, scolded a congressional panel on Wednesday, saying that he should not be called illegal, and saying it is an insult to his family who brought him here.
“When you inaccurately call me illegal, you not only dehumanize me, you’re offending them,” he said. “No human being is illegal.”

    I got this:

    1) The term “illegal immigrant” indicates the legal status, not anything else about the person but that they are honestly both an immigrant and one who is here illegally, who arrived or was brought in a manner which violated existing laws. The argument “don’t call me illegal, I’m not an illegal person”, is based on a despicable lie – nobody is calling any PERSON illegal, it’s your STATUS that even you admit is contrary to law and hence illegal.

    2) Your parents brought you here illegally, they knew they were breaking the law when they did it. They are criminals for doing so and should be punished according to the law for aiding/harboring an illegal immigrant.

    3) By staying here while knowing you are not here legally you are breaking laws, thus you are also a criminal and should be caught & punished then deported.

  • Bob Roberts

    Can you say “incompetent”?

This is what we’re paying for?

DHS admits it does not track immigrants who become welfare dependent, pursued zero cases last year.

In a response letter to four top Republican lawmakers, the Department of Homeland Security revealed it initiated only one case against an immigrant for becoming a “public charge,” or being primarily dependent upon the government, in fiscal year 2012. The case was later withdrawn.

While the department’s response to Republican Sens. Jeff Sessions, Chuck Grassley, Orrin Hatch and Pat Roberts’ August oversight request offered an overview of the centuries-old federal public-charge restrictions, it noticeably avoided several of the senators’ direct questions and demonstrated potentially significant inadequacies in record-keeping by immigration officials, who legally should be enforcing public-charge rules for immigrants both inside and outside of the country.

The response, for example, failed to explain why immigrants are only assessed for their potential reliance on just two of the more than 80 federal means-tested welfare programs when the government determines if they are “public charges” prior to their entry into the U.S. — meaning that they are likely to become primarily dependent on federal aid for subsistence after arriving.
