Mark Levin Lays Into Eric Cantor

Among the many surreptitious attacks on our Second Amendment rights, one of the most pernicious is the reasonable-sounding but tyrannical Violence Against Women Act. Under leadership provided by the likes of Majority Leader Eric Cantor, the increasingly useless Republican Party offers little if any resistance to these alarming violations of our freedom. The Great One explains why Cantor is a coward, and hack, and a weasel:

Gateway Pundit reports that

The bill’s language is so vague that if anyone is accused of violence under this law… then they would not have a right to a firearm.

If Republicans are not part of the solution to our menaced liberty, they are part of the problem.

On a tip from Just TheTip.

    BO planned this perfectly.

The “senate” (democrats) snuck the VAWA bill in under all the hysterical BS raised by the WH and the MSM about the Sequester.

Everyone knew the Sequester was much ado about nada.

It was apparently nothing more than a cover for the VAWA.

Rest assured that even if members of the “senate” or the house had read the VAWA, (unlikely) they wouldn’t have understood it.

Coming on too fast for Americans to digest and buried underneath the Sequester, supported by both of our communist parties, this is BO’s Final Solution for the transformation of America into a totalitarian state.

Now we know why Homeland bought up all those bullets.

Why not call it the “Is It True You Stopped Beating Your Wife” act? It’s so obviously a ploy to take away more rights and freedoms, and has absolutely nothing to do with protecting anyone, women included. Even the name was thought up in such a way that any opposition can be demonized as “So…you are FOR violence against women?”

We are being suckered so bad! If we can’t turn this around, we deserve to lose.

    Rules of a Gunfight

Some words to the wise. Shooting Advice from various Concealed Carry Instructors. If you own a gun, you will appreciate this. If not, you should get one and learn how to use it:

A: Guns have only two enemies – rust and politicians.

B: It’s always better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6.

C: Cops carry guns to protect themselves, not you.

D: Never let someone or something that threatens you get inside arms length.

E: Never say “I’ve got a gun.” If you need to use deadly force, the first sound they hear should be the safety clicking off.

F: The average response time of a 911 call is 23 minutes, the response time of a .357 is 1400 feet per second.

G: The most important rule in a gunfight is: Always win – cheat if necessary.

H: Make your attacker advance through a wall of bullets . . . You may get killed with your own gun, but he’ll have to beat you to death with it, cause it’ll be empty.

If you’re in a gun fight:

    1. If you’re not shooting, you should be loading.
    2. If you’re not loading, you should be movin,
    3. If you’re not movin’, you’re dead.

J: In a life and death situation, do something . . . It may be wrong, but do something!

K: If you carry a gun, people call you paranoid. Nonsense! If you have a gun, what do you have to be paranoid about?

L: You can say ‘stop’ or ‘alto’ or any other word, but a large bore muzzle pointed at someone’s head is pretty much a universal language.

M: Forget the save the planet nonsense, it doesn’t need saving, but you may be able to save yourself and your family.

Kerry defends liberties, says Americans have “right to be stupid”

Allowing woman easy access to guns without all the redtape, buracracy, ruglations and mountians of paperwork would go a lot farther then stupid gun control legislation

  • M.Wilson

So the “Violence Against Women Act” has little to do with violence, nothing to do with women, and everything to do with dismantling the 1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 9th, and 10th amendments.

Though the 10th was dismantled so long ago that I doubt anyone in Washington even knows what it says.

Kerry is a perfect self-example, although Biden has better qualifications.

  • SNuss

I keep waiting for Sean Hannity to air a WWF-style cage match between Mark Levin and Karl Rove, or Eric Cantor.
    THAT would be worth watching.

  • Dr. 9

The republicans are fast becoming a bigger threat to our freedom and liberty than the Demoncrats are. What they need to see is a couple of million people march on the capital carrying lighted torches and strong ropes.

Something in the water which turns conservatives into cowards? There’s been the treachery of John Roberts’ ruling “constitutional” the abomination of Obamacare; McCains’ constant perfidiousness; Rand Paul’s craven cowardice in endorsing Hagel — not to mention that thing of a govenor in New Jersey…with such scumbags, there is a One Party State in the U.S. And it is Leftist.

Wheel guns and Glocks don’t have safeties that need to be clicked off. He might see the red dot from the laser on his chest, however. Light travels faster than a 357 or a 40 cal.

Actually, the sound of a 1911 slide clacking into battery has, shall we say, a……..moderating effect on the situation. Been there and done that – and that was all it took.

He’s right. AMERICANS have a right to be stupid and vote Obama. ILLEGAL Aliens do NOT.

The House of Representatives passed the Violence Against Women Act, extending abuse protections to gay, lesbians, and transgender people, as well as Native Americans and immigrants.

Once again, no special protections for white people.

    .

  • Sam Adams

Republicans need to get better at playing this game. There is all sorts of opportunity to use these grand-sounding bills to accomplish a lot.

For example, why shouldn’t the Violence Against Women Act include a small provision on page 304 to abolish the EPA? How about the provision on page 400 to abolish the Affordable Care Act?

  • Dr. 9

    Ummah said:
“Once again, no special protections for white people.”

That’s because they are already making plans for a non-White America. And we’re well on our way.

Either get rid of the morons (RINO’s) in the party, or the party is dead. With “leaders” like Cantor, who needs Obummer? Keep destroying the country, Eric, as you destroy your own party . . .
    A 3rd, conservative-led, party, in 2016, anyone?

If lawmakers are serious about investigating whether or not Washington has been infiltrated by the Muslim Brotherhood, they need look no further than Barack Obama himself

Rather then push more idiotic GUN CONTROL LAWS they need to punish crinimals according to the seriuosness of their crimes rather then offer COUNSELING and REHABILITATION
