A Little Encouragement
The transition from soft to hard tyranny will come if the Obama Regime is able to disarm us. This is what the media has been laying the groundwork for with its hysterical anti-gun hype. It is also the point of the DHS’s massive ammunition binge.
No matter how brave, patriots who fight back with deer rifles (even if the media calls them “assault rifles”) are unlikely to prevail against the most massive government the world has ever seen.
Fortunately, we don’t have to defeat the entire federal machine. We just have to put up enough principled resistance so that it turns against itself.
Obama, Holder, Napolitano, et al. won’t personally show up in front of your house in an MRAP to confiscate your firearms and/or drag you off to a detention camp in the time-honored collectivist tradition. They will have to send their personnel to do it for them. This personnel consists of Americans; many of them are Americans in the full sense of the word, meaning they will not side with tyrants against the Constitution.

As i’ve said many times, the attack on the 2nd Amendment will come from many different directions, and in many guises. The Left is desperately trying to link guns to health issues, thereby giving them much, much, more authority and power. Now, not surprisingly, the Leftist EnviroNazi’s are also jumping in.

Don’t forget that the AMA is having doctors ask about gun ownership now in medical screenings. Thanks to Obamacare, those records will be electronically searchable by the federal government. They don’t need to vote on gun registration when they already defacto have gun owner registration. And by asking spouses and children separately, they will have a pretty good list in just a few years.
Time to dissolve the Union. Coercion cancels the contract.

Ok, so the USMC is running out of bullets while the DHS is getting enough ammo to fight a 30 year war?

Sorry, I disagree. First, let’s not call them “deer rifles.” Let’s call them long range sniper rifles. Most of them have telescopic sights. All of them have more than enough power to make police force body armor ineffective.
Those who handle these guns own their own camouflage. They site their rifles yearly and often practice. They have honed their skills against animals with very highly developed defensive senses.
It is the sons of these rifle owners that make up the majority of the military.
The government, despite being massive and well armed, had best consider what it is going up against. Where will they get their recruits from? Chicago? New York? California?
And what will be their battle cry? Enslave the wealthy?

The female politician who said the ex-military should not be allowed firearms made my day. This politician gave away whose side the troops will be on didn’t she? when it all hits the fan I think the high ranking officers will have to dress in civilian clothes and sneak away like the German SS after WW2. Remember Ft Hood and the assassinations of US troops in the Middle East.
Anybody who thinks when they come for your guns the “attackers” won’t shoot, or will not fight against who they are told to by their leaders, needs to review their history. When they come for whatever it may be, they will win, you will die, and they will make it look like it is your fault.
